The room was great, and the view was beautiful. The front desk attendant was so thoughtful; she let me check in early and even recommended some local places to eat, which was really nice. The 'sha zhu fen' (pig-killing noodles) for breakfast was delicious. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance.

I rarely write reviews, but this stay was so good! After visiting the Mangshan Wuzhi Peak Scenic Area, we checked into this characteristic homestay in Mangshan. In addition to rooms with spacious balconies, the B&B also provides guests with uniquely designed stand-alone wooden houses to choose from. We finally chose a cabin called ”Wangshan”, where you can see the distant mountain scenery and the beautiful sunset even when lying in bed. There is a Japanese pavilion garden outside the cabin, and it is equipped with an outdoor bathtub. Here, we fully enjoy the comfort and relaxation brought by the hot spring water, and our body and mind feel relaxed and happy. There is also a small bamboo forest here, where guests can enjoy a leisurely time while appreciating the rural scenery and sipping coffee or tea. Unfortunately the weather was a bit cold and we were unable to enjoy it. There is a leisure space here where guests can enjoy tea, chat or have a meal. In the evening, we ordered some farm dishes here, including steamed fish, braised duck and stir-fried vegetables. They were very delicious and made us feel like we were back home. At night, the light pollution here is not too great, and my family and I can clearly appreciate the stars twinkling in the night sky, adding a touch of romance and mystery to our journey.

This is my second time staying at Gaoyiling Inn. The overall experience is still full. It is comfortable and comfortable throughout the whole process. I really feel that it is especially wise to choose here. The boss family is simple and honest, warm and thoughtful, there is no rusty sense of politeness, and it is very comfortable to get along with. On weekdays, there are questions about travel planning and scenic spots. The boss will patiently give practical suggestions, and will recommend local authentic food to us, avoiding the Internet celebrity routine restaurants, which is very intimate. The quality of the rooms exceeded my expectations. The rooms were cleaned meticulously, the floor, beds, and washing areas were cleaned in place, dust could not be seen in the corners, the items were neatly arranged, and the environment was clean and tidy. The bedding is soft and comfortable, the supporting facilities are intact and complete, the sound insulation effect is very good, and you can rest at ease when you return to the room for a day! The location of the inn is a highlight, the surrounding play resources are very rich, travel and play is particularly time-saving and labor-saving. You can punch in the Gaoyiling Scenic Area nearby, and you can go to Feitian Mountain, Mahuangqiu Grand Canyon, and Wayaoping Ancient Village. It is also very convenient to drive to Yuhou Street in the city center in your spare time. Yuhou Street is antique, go to the old street to taste Zhangzhou specialty snacks, and feel the atmosphere of local fireworks. Even the famous Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area, the drive is only about half an hour, get up early to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the foggy Xiaodongjiang, there is plenty of time, no need to waste travel time. Compared with many homestays around Zhangzhou, this inn is very cost-effective, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the environment is quiet and comfortable. Enjoy the Danxia landscape during the day, rest quietly at night, taking into account the convenience of playing and living comfortably. Whether it is a short leisure trip or an in-depth tour of various scenic spots in Zhangzhou, it is especially suitable to live here.

We chose this Inn due to the room size and it’s able to accompany my whole family with 2 big beds. Upon checking in we were amazed at the level of cleanliness and the excellent condition of the room. Room was very comfortable and the heating function was excellent. Host Mr Yu was very nice and we enjoyed their served meals at restaurant quality. They also can help you with itineraries and tour planning if you are not sure where to visit and help arrange reliable transportation. The place is also very near to the famous Yangtian Lake (Mini Switzerland), just a 10min drive further up hill. Overall experience was great, thanks to the host Mr Yu and team.

Hotel is 3km from the tourist center where you can take a shuttle to the cable car. Drop-off service provided free of charge. There is also a restaurant next to the hotel which cooks nice meals. Mangshan was not easy for me to reach and the park's natural ambience was spoilt by the infrastructure including via ferratas in prominent locations, petting zoos and music played on repeat. One day is enough for this place and I don't think I will return as the national weather forecast was unreliable. I wanted an overcast day and it turned out fine, which is worse for photography. If you are in the area it is probably worth visiting but don't make a special trip from long distance.

For cat lovers and those who don't like cats, look no further!! A friendly and adorable tabby cat named Xiaohu will fill your heart's content! 🤣😍 The lovely young lady owner of the guesthouse provides impeccable service. We stayed here for four nights and thoroughly explored Mangshan's East and West Gates and the surrounding area. The guesthouse is clean, with plenty of hot water and air conditioning that's both warm and cool. The price is reasonable, and it's close to the scenic area entrance with many delicious restaurants nearby. Tips: 1. There's a great Tujia restaurant about 50 meters away with large bowls of dishes. The Yao ethnic minority owner is very friendly and the portions are generous. Recommended dishes: Chicken hotpot, bighead carp hotpot, fern root rice cakes, dry-pot cauliflower, and various stir-fries are all excellent. 2. The guesthouse doesn't have an elevator, so you'll have to carry large luggage. There's no refrigerator. A microwave is provided for simple food heating. 3. There's a pretty good breakfast place next door that makes ”pig-killing noodles,” or you can turn right at the alley in front of the Liangxin B&B and find a local breakfast shop with good steamed dumplings and rice noodle rolls. 4. The ticket for entering through the West Gate is for two days. Remember, if you want to explore the General's Village scenic area, you must go counter-clockwise… If you don't believe it, you can try going clockwise 🤣 5. If it's cold, after one person finishes showering, the next person should wait a bit, otherwise there might not be enough hot water.

You can tell this is an established, luxury hotel with a good foundation. The decor and service are both excellent, and the hot springs are fantastic. The only minor drawback was the taste of the food at the Chinese restaurant downstairs. The air conditioning in the room wasn't very effective at cooling, but overall it was good. I would definitely come back again.

Hygiene: relatively clean and tidy Environment: It is located near the high-speed rail station and far from places to eat. It is recommended to travel by car. Service: The lady at the front desk was enthusiastic and proactive when checking in. Since the room booked did not include breakfast, I was considering leaving in a hurry the next day and asked about the hotel's breakfast charges. The lady enthusiastically gave me a breakfast coupon.

It was absolutely perfect. It's a shame I could only spend one day at Yangtian Lake; otherwise, I would have stayed for several days to relax and unwind. The hotel's location is unique, nestled against the hillside next to the scenic area. The staff were excellent, with two young women constantly offering to help with my luggage. The complimentary fruit, snacks, and drinks were plentiful, and the hotel's cleanliness was on par with a five-star hotel. The view upon waking up was completely worth the price. The sunrise and sunset were especially breathtaking; the views from the balcony were breathtaking. Without further ado, here are the pictures and video. Full marks! I'll definitely stay here again for another two weeks on my vacation.

On the first day of dinner, I ordered a mouth-swinging, very fresh! When I was a child, I was stuck in the shadow of the fish and I kept saying that I didn't eat fish. This is the first time I have eaten so many fish in a meal, and there is no fishy smell! delicious! Slowly eat, I can't eat the leftover tail. If you don't eat spicy food, you can tell the boss. There are many green plants on the backing of the house, and occasionally there will be small insects. You can prepare mosquito repellent supplies. The overall experience is very satisfactory!
