GGuest UserThis is the best I have ever stayed in. I originally stayed for one night. I went to Yangtian Lake the next day. But the environment was very comfortable. I renewed my rent for another night and set off the next day. Although the next day was relatively rushed, the travel was comfortable. It was good to play, the boss and the proprietress were very enthusiastic. I will continue to choose this next time! ! ! highly recommended!

11591317****The location is fantastic! Quiet, comfortable, and simply furnished. Breakfast was pork noodle soup, and they even provided lean meat and egg noodles and soy milk for the kids! I recommend choosing a room with a river view for a brighter atmosphere. The guesthouse doesn't offer lunch or dinner, but they mentioned the nearby trendy restaurants are popular, and they were indeed quite good – excellent value and delicious food!
Beware of Hualan's firewood chicken – a rip-off for tourists!!

GGuest UserMangshan Sitting at the Forest Hot Spring B&B completely subverted my understanding of the B&B! The sanitary details are comparable to five-star hotels: daily cleaning and disinfection, daily change of sheets and towels, even toothbrush cups are intimately packaged in disposable packaging, and people with obsessive-compulsive disorder are directly satisfied. The environment is even more fairy-level, the room terrace faces the sea of clouds and forests, and the mist is like a fairyland after the rain. The most amazing is the private kitchen! The ingredients are all freshly picked locally. Mangshan Black Dolphin is very good. The reservoir forktail fish, firewood chicken, and the rice grown by the farmhouse are all cooked in mountain spring water, and the grains are sweet. For this stutter, it is worth coming again! The overall experience is full marks, strong Amway!

GGuest UserI booked a suite, three big beds, three twin beds. The big bed is on the 6th floor, and the direct first floor can be used by ourselves. We 8 people drive from Guangzhou. There are many things. It is really super convenient to directly pack a layer. The twin bed is on the fifth floor. The rooftop can also dry the clothes. The room is clean and tidy. The taste of the farm opened by the boss himself is the most in line with the taste of Cantonese in our three days in Zhangzhou. It is not heavy oil and heavy salt, which is very good.

GGuest UserThe biggest plus for this hotel is that it is just 850 meters from the tourist attraction for which we came. The GaoYi Ridge, also known as Feitianshan (飞天山高椅岭景区) Scenic Spot. This is a small family run hotel which does not have an elevator. But the owners help you to carry the luggage up. The room is small but adequate, the furniture and bathroom fittings well appointed. The toilet kit was standard, though I normally do not use the disposable toiletries. There is a restaurant a stone's throw away from the hotel, which served us adequate food even late at night.
The biggest disadvantage for this hotel is that it is about an hour's drive from the Chenzhou West Railway Station. But that did not deter us because our purpose was to go sightseeing for the GaoYi Ridge Danxia Landform.

Hygiene: relatively clean and tidy
Environment: It is located near the high-speed rail station and far from places to eat. It is recommended to travel by car.
Service: The lady at the front desk was enthusiastic and proactive when checking in. Since the room booked did not include breakfast, I was considering leaving in a hurry the next day and asked about the hotel's breakfast charges. The lady enthusiastically gave me a breakfast coupon.

11342480****This hotel was... well, quite ridiculous. It's located closest to the mountain gate, yet it has a spooky sign; my child thought we were staying in some horror movie scene. For the same three-day New Year's holiday, this hotel was ridiculously overpriced. At 599 yuan, with guesthouse-like amenities, even 200 yuan would have been a bargain. The TV cost 10 yuan via QR code, but it crashed before even finishing one movie episode and wouldn't restart. The bathroom glass wasn't properly wiped; there were still water droplets, and they didn't even provide a bathroom mat. I almost slipped and fell while brushing my teeth. The only amenities included were a toothbrush, comb, and a bar of soap; nothing else. The window was very stiff with clearly visible springs, but thankfully the blankets were okay. Breakfast consisted of pork offal soup, eggs, and sweet potato buns/mantou. Nearby hotels of similar quality cost around 450 yuan and had much better amenities. Even hotels near the scenic area entrance, like the Danxia Secret Realm Hotel near Gaoyiling, cost 345 yuan and included breakfast for two children. This place charged me 599 yuan for an 18 yuan breakfast, and I'll never come back. They even sent a message asking for a five-star review. Thank you, no thanks! And I don't need your kind offer for my next stay either. Because there won't be a next time.

GGuest UserWe had an absolutely excellent stay. The service across all departments—from the Front Desk and Room Service to the Di Ming restaurant and the hot springs—was outstanding. Every hotel member we interacted with was incredibly courteous, friendly, and helpful. We especially appreciated how immaculately clean the entire environment was kept.
I want to offer a special commendation to the Front Desk and Restaurant Managers/Headers. Their commitment to personalized service and leading by example was truly noteworthy. They were warm, genuinely helpful, and created very memorable moments during our visit. Thank you.

A note for future travelers: While the hotel itself is excellent, please be aware that transportation in the surrounding area is very challenging without a personal car.
It is extremely difficult to secure ride-sharing services (like Didi), and hiring local drivers is quite costly. They often charge a round-trip fee for a single journey. For example, a trip less than 1 mile from the hotel to the West Gate cost us ¥50 for drop-off and pickup. A longer trip to the East Gate was at ¥250.
