I couldn't wait to write a review after the first night! After years of traveling, this is hands-down my favorite homestay. You can tell it's high quality and thoughtfully managed. The underfloor heating and air conditioning were already on, ready for our arrival. They offer free electric scooter rentals and free charging. There's afternoon tea, coffee, and even a sweet soup in the evening. We arrived at 10 PM, and even before we got there, a warm soup was waiting for us. The butler was incredibly responsive to every request, helping me get everything settled. The next morning, breakfast was delivered right to our door promptly at 8 AM – so efficient and punctual! One evening, all the electric scooters were taken, and the front desk lady even lent me her own, along with a scarf, hat, and gloves. It was incredibly heartwarming. My child had an online class that ended a bit late, and most restaurants outside were closed. The owner personally cooked us a few dishes. Although the ingredients were simple, it was the warmest gesture on a cold winter night. If you're going to Jingdezhen, stay here; you absolutely won't regret it!

Guest UserI genuinely recommend this hotel! The location is easy to find, super convenient for transportation, and there are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The room was exceptionally clean, spotless with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The soundproofing was also great, so it was very quiet at night. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient with check-ins and check-outs, and they were always quick to help with any issues. The value for money far exceeded other hotels in the same price range. I'll definitely stay here again next time!
No exaggerations, I even posted about it on my social media yesterday! 👍🏻

BeatingUpwindThe four days we spent at TaoYi ChangYang Hotel were one of the best parts of our 3 week trip to China. I honestly didn’t understand that the hotel was inside the bounds of Tao Yang Alley or even what Tao Yang Alley was all about. The alley and the hotel were spectacular. We had reserved room 13 but were upgraded to room 1 - a room that was 50% larger and usually bills for twice the price. It was an absolutely amazing room.
If you’re thinking of booking at the hotel - a few things to know… First there are two parts to the hotel - a large, modern, western-style hotel and then impeccably restored rooms in old buildings adjacent to the modern part of the hotel. I highly recommend the old, restored rooms.
Second, finding the hotel is tricky since its entrances (and exits) are unmarked. Tao Yang Alley is an old-style street layout which was meant to confuse invaders. In this case, you are the invader. However, once you do find the hotel, you’ll love it…
And lastly there seem to be two other TaoYi hotels in Tao Yang Alley if you can’t find the type of room you’re looking for - try one of them.

This is by far the most satisfying guesthouse I've stayed at in Jingdezhen, period! It's called Benjue Rushi.
The location is fantastic, right next to the Taoxichuan Cultural and Creative Street. It's a short drive to the Ceramic Museum, Sanbao Village, and Sculpture Porcelain Factory, and getting to and from the station is also convenient. There's a super spacious 200 sqm camping garden ⛺️, with a 30-year-old osmanthus tree that's always there, providing a lovely spot to sit under, feel the breeze, and unwind from all your fatigue.
They have a great variety of room types. My favorite is the one with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows – opening them reveals a calming green vista.
The entire place is equipped with smart home features, making for a super comfortable and convenient stay. It's clean and thoughtful.
Plus, they even give you a small ceramic cup as a souvenir upon check-in!
Highly recommend!!

I stayed at this hotel last Sunday and overall had a pleasant and comfortable experience. The hotel is nice, calm, and extremely well located—honestly, the best location in the whole town. It’s right near the museum, the Kiln Museum with a perfect wundiw view on it and the ancient-town area, making it perfect for exploring Jingdezhen.
The room was a good size, although a bit narrow due to its long layout, but it was comfortable. The sound insulation was not the best, and I could hear my neighbors, but the front desk staff were very helpful and quickly provided earplugs. They also sent me a message before I arrived to confirm my check-in time, and they even welcomed me with a small gift, which I really appreciated. They also provide fresh fruits to my room, very kind.
The breakfast was very good—a full open-buffet style with enough variety to enjoy a complete meal. They don’t customize dishes, but there are plenty of items to choose from, and overall the breakfast was satisfying and enjoyable.
It’s not the most perfect room, but for the price, it offers very good value, and the location is unbeatable.

poki-ypThis hotel is located within the Taoyangli tourist area, and its back door leads directly to the Imperial Kiln Museum with just a room card swipe, which is incredibly convenient for taking beautiful photos during off-peak hours. The overall hotel environment is excellent, and the service is superb. The staff are almost always responsive and attend to requests promptly. The complimentary pottery throwing and glass blowing experiences were also fantastic and genuinely offered. My daughter absolutely loved the bracelet souvenir she received when we checked out. We'll definitely be back!

The location is great, within walking distance to Taoxichuan Cultural and Creative Block. It's so convenient to walk there for night views and the market in the evening. Getting to other attractions is also easy; it only takes about ten minutes by taxi to the Imperial Kiln Museum and Sanbao Village. The hotel service was excellent; originally, the room only included one breakfast, but when we checked in, they saw there were two of us and proactively added another one. It was also very quiet at night. I'm very satisfied with this trip.

Guest UserOverall, great value for money. The hotel features a charming Chinese aesthetic with porcelain accents, evident in the various ceramic decorations in the lobby. The rooms are meticulously cleaned, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The self-service laundry with a dryer was very convenient for washing off clay after pottery making.
The location is a major plus, within walking distance to Taoyangli and the Imperial Kiln Factory. There are plenty of street food stalls and snack streets nearby, making dining and getting around super easy. The front desk staff were very attentive, proactively recommending markets and shopping routes.
The hotel's breakfast was quite exquisite too.

Guest UserThis May Day, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Sanbao Village with my family, and it was a really good experience. The environment is beautiful and very quiet, as it's located in the latter part of Sanbao Village. In the morning, when I opened the curtains, there were already a few scattered tourists outside. The sky was very blue, and the trees were all so green!
There was a minor incident on our first night. It was raining heavily, and we initially thought the noise was from the guests upstairs taking a shower, making our room feel very noisy and impossible to sleep in due to poor soundproofing. We immediately contacted the front desk staff, who promptly investigated the situation for us. It turned out we were already on the top floor. The rain was exceptionally heavy that night, and the sound we heard was actually from the downspout. The staff quickly blocked the downspout for us, and it became quiet instantly. I was very satisfied with their swift response to our request, even late at night.
The hotel's breakfast offered local specialties, including congee with about a dozen side dishes, and cold noodles, all very delicious.
Sanbao Village is beautiful, and I hope everyone gets a chance to visit.

ErbaijinpangzixiangjianfeiThis hotel's service is incredibly thoughtful! ✨ The front desk staff, especially a lovely young lady, was absolutely wonderful – always ready to answer questions and fulfill requests. They went above and beyond with warm touches: a complimentary room upgrade, fresh fruit delivered to our room by a robot, and an afternoon tea treat. The breakfast also offered a good variety. Plus, we received a ceramic handicraft experience voucher. The value for money here is simply amazing!
