4-Star Hotels in Jiujiang

I was very satisfied with my stay at Lotus Terrace Garden Resort! The hotel has a great location, with a quiet surrounding environment, and I could see beautiful scenery right from my window. The bed was comfortable, and all the facilities were easy to use. Both the front desk and service staff were patient in answering questions and responded promptly to any requests. The breakfast also tasted good. Overall, it offers great value for money, and is suitable whether you're traveling with family or just looking to relax. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Lushan!

A five-star rating is definitely deserved. The price increase during the May Day holiday was expected and reasonable. The breakfast, for a hotel in a scenic area, was quite generous; even those used to resort hotels will find enough to eat here. After all, I've looked around, and there aren't many places on the mountain that offer a better breakfast. There are a couple of things I hope can be improved: firstly, the family rooms should come with three sets of toiletries, not just two, requiring guests to ask for the third; secondly, some early-rising guests were excessively noisy in the hallway, even blowing whistles. I think the hotel didn't do enough to remind them about noise levels. I know the mountain area is humid, so carpeting isn't very practical, and poor soundproofing in the corridors seems to be a common issue for all hotels here. But at least a 'quiet please' sign could be helpful, couldn't it? The service attitude was generally excellent, with one exception: an older lady in the lobby who never smiled, whether answering questions or showing the way. Most of these issues are minor or due to objective limitations, and even if I stayed at another hotel on Mount Lu, it would be hard to find one that does much better. Hence, the five-star rating is well-earned. I'm too lazy to review both rooms separately, so I'm just copy-pasting this for the second one.

The room was spotless, and every detail was thoughtfully provided, like toilet seat covers, cotton swabs, and toothpicks. The staff were enthusiastic, offering great local tips. Especially at the restaurant, they were incredibly considerate, recommending dishes perfect for a solo diner. The noodles and mini buns made by the chef, and the beef noodles the next day, were absolutely delicious and satisfying. The transfer driver was also proactive in helping with luggage. My two-day stay was very comfortable. The complimentary sightseeing map and snacks were a nice touch, and the breakfast spread was impressive too.

The room is very clean and tidy, with complete facilities, a large bathtub, and very newly decorated. It has a mountain view room. The heating in the room is also sufficient. Even when it snows heavily, the room is not cold at all. Fruits are given in each room, and the oranges are very sweet. The breakfast is also very delicious. The service attitude is super good. The front desk upgraded the room for free. Because it is not very convenient for us to bring our baby, they also delayed our check-out. When we left, they also gave us a thermos cup and souvenirs. The hotel felt quite new, clean, and tidy, and all the staff were really nice. They offer shuttle services to and from the cable car station and the main street station. Every morning, Master Bao (包师傅) drove us to the main street station and picked us up in the evening. He was so kind and patient (we actually felt a bit embarrassed with how often we requested the hotel car). Huge thanks to him! I didn't have high expectations for a scenic area hotel's breakfast, but the all-season breakfast far exceeded them. There was a wide variety of food, plenty of vegetables and high-protein options, and the fruit was super fresh. The tofu, shredded pork, and vegetable soup was especially delicious. They also had freshly ground coffee. You can also order lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant, which has a clean environment, and for me, it felt more reassuring than eating at outside restaurants.

The service of this hotel is way beyond excellent! Had us added their hotel communication through wechat immediately after booking, walked us through the steps and any questions that we have about the travel in lushan even non hotel related questions. Had a hotel driver that picked/dropped us from the cabal car station from/to hotel. Even guided us back to hotel when we ventured out in town at night and couldn't figure out which bus to take to get back :) The location of the hotel is also excellent. It is not in middle of town so was quiet and tranquil and hear the bird ”singing” in the morning and the night wind howling at night when we kept the window open. It is also walking distance away from the bus station for both the west and east line of the scenery right. Will definitely book them again when coming back to lushan in the future.

We had a great stay here! All the personnel was nice and attentive, we were registered pretty easily. The hotel offers a pick up service , which is quite convenient. We had a room with a skylight and a balcony, which was the best. In the morning and in the evening you can sit at the balcony and enjoy a nice view. The room is clean and the towels are changed every day. They serve Chinese style breakfast from 7 to 9, see the picture attached. Since we don't know much about local transportation, they gave us a ride to the local transportation hub where we could hop on a sightseeing bus. Once you get back from your trip in the evening, you can have a nice stroll from a busy Guling street area, it's down the hill and it takes you about 15 minutes to get back to the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to have a real mountain view from their hotel room☺️

I'd call this B&B in Lushan a ”dream homestay.” ✨ And since it's the president of a local association, I absolutely recommend it to everyone. 🏠Location and Transportation: The B&B is right near the cable car, just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel also offers free shuttle service, and the bus transfer is a mere 2-3 minutes' walk away, making it super convenient to get to attractions like Wulao Peak and Sandiequan. Getting around is easy and convenient. 💁♂️Service: The owner is very talkative, cultured, and approachable. He introduced us to local attractions and treated us to high mountain mist tea. Welcome fruit and unlimited sweet soup are available at the front desk. Guests staying at the hotel also receive a free pottery session, and for an additional fee, you can burn paper and have it delivered to your home. It's a truly thoughtful touch. 🌳Garden: The B&B's small courtyard is a true treasure! Well-equipped, Japanese-style, and charming. Sitting in the courtyard for breakfast, the mountain breeze washes away all worries—perfect for relaxing. 🥐Dining: Their farmhouse dishes are incredible. I tried two soups, both of which were absolutely amazing: the stewed pheasant with stone ear mushrooms and the stewed pork ribs with dried cuttlefish. The aunt simmered them over low heat, making them incredibly flavorful. The stir-fried beef and celery were also delicious, and the mixed rice noodles for breakfast were also tasty. I highly recommend trying them. Tip: Book half a day in advance. 🐶: The highlight is the owner's adorable little dog, named Taxue (Taxue) because all four of her paws are red. She's very affectionate and loves me, just as I love her. I'll definitely go back to see her someday. I sincerely recommend everyone visiting Lushan to try this B&B. Hotel is at the outskirts but near famous Donglin Temple, walking distance about 5-8 minutes. Ideally, suitable for believers who spend more time in the temple. Big Buddha is at another spot quite a distance away but reachable by Didi. Hotel and rooms with balcony are elegantly decorated exclusively Zen tastes, settings. It is surrounded by trees, green hills and unpolluted fresh air. A pleasant feeling, feeling peaceful in the compound. There is a small stream opposite the hotel with soothing sound flowing down stream. Tasty morning and evening Chinese vegetarian are served, 58 Rmb for evening buffet. Opposite the main Donglin Temple, there are waiting taxis, restaurants, convenience shops. Not much night activities after 8 pm, perhaps night activities are in the city and railway stations. A good place to quiet the mind and distractions.

Stayed here in end Oct. While reception was friendly, everything else did not meet expectations and match the price. Bed was hard and pillows were flat, thus uncomfortable for sleep. Breakfast spread was limited, taste was bad and food was cold except for hard boiled eggs and soup noodles - totally not befitting a hotel of this scale. We only used the bath tub in the room (water from hot spring too) instead of using the hotel hot spring facilities because we saw paper cups littered around some of the pools and questioned the cleanliness and hygiene of the facilities. You can ask reception for a disposable tub cover. It was also difficult to get a private hire vehicle at this hotel and we had to pay a higher price to get one. Overall poor value for the price we paid.
