I was very satisfied with my stay at Lotus Terrace Garden Resort! The hotel has a great location, with a quiet surrounding environment, and I could see beautiful scenery right from my window. The bed was comfortable, and all the facilities were easy to use. Both the front desk and service staff were patient in answering questions and responded promptly to any requests. The breakfast also tasted good. Overall, it offers great value for money, and is suitable whether you're traveling with family or just looking to relax. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Lushan!

This hotel is incredibly convenient. As soon as you exit the cable car, you turn right and you're there. The shuttle bus for the scenic area is right in front. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, and the underfloor heating and air conditioning are excellent. The front desk staff are very warm and friendly, always patiently and enthusiastically answering any questions. The hotel also offers free hiking pole rentals. Although the restaurant isn't large, it offers a wide variety of delicious food. The disposable raincoat I bought for 10 yuan was of surprisingly good quality and very thick. My stay here was extremely pleasant.

A five-star rating is definitely deserved. The price increase during the May Day holiday was expected and reasonable. The breakfast, for a hotel in a scenic area, was quite generous; even those used to resort hotels will find enough to eat here. After all, I've looked around, and there aren't many places on the mountain that offer a better breakfast. There are a couple of things I hope can be improved: firstly, the family rooms should come with three sets of toiletries, not just two, requiring guests to ask for the third; secondly, some early-rising guests were excessively noisy in the hallway, even blowing whistles. I think the hotel didn't do enough to remind them about noise levels. I know the mountain area is humid, so carpeting isn't very practical, and poor soundproofing in the corridors seems to be a common issue for all hotels here. But at least a 'quiet please' sign could be helpful, couldn't it? The service attitude was generally excellent, with one exception: an older lady in the lobby who never smiled, whether answering questions or showing the way. Most of these issues are minor or due to objective limitations, and even if I stayed at another hotel on Mount Lu, it would be hard to find one that does much better. Hence, the five-star rating is well-earned. I'm too lazy to review both rooms separately, so I'm just copy-pasting this for the second one.

We liked the nostalgic feel of the hotel. It makes you feel like you have gone back in time. The room is a little bit dated (shower screens need some attention), however it still had that touch of class. The front steps are a killer, however there is a lift to bring you up the level of the hotel, so we didn't have to worry about bringing our heavy suitcases up the many steps. There is a bus station almost out the front of the hotel to tour the mountains many scenic areas. It is not in the shopping area of Kuling Street, but it's an easy bus ride to visit this area. We liked that there are a few restaurants, cafes and convenience stores close to the hotel as well. We were not able to use our foreign credit card and as we could not use WeChat pay, we needed to find another way to pay for the room with assistance from family with a Chinese bank account. I think it was because it is not part of a large chain of hotels and is in a relatively remote area. But overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The room is very clean and tidy, with complete facilities, a large bathtub, and very newly decorated. It has a mountain view room. The heating in the room is also sufficient. Even when it snows heavily, the room is not cold at all. Fruits are given in each room, and the oranges are very sweet. The breakfast is also very delicious. The service attitude is super good. The front desk upgraded the room for free. Because it is not very convenient for us to bring our baby, they also delayed our check-out. When we left, they also gave us a thermos cup and souvenirs. Great hotel, great location and great services! I had a wonderful experience staying at the Lushan Howard Johnson Hotel, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with comfortable rooms, a peaceful atmosphere, and excellent facilities that make it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Lushan. What truly made my stay memorable, however, was the exceptional level of service provided by the staff—especially Mr. Yi Yang, the Front Desk Manager. From the moment I arrived, Mr. Yi Yang went above and beyond to ensure everything was smooth and enjoyable. He was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making me feel valued as a guest. Mr. Yi Yang showed great attention to detail and was always ready to assist with any requests, whether it was providing helpful local recommendations or ensuring that all arrangements were handled efficiently. His warm attitude and dedication to excellent service truly reflect the high standards of the hotel. In addition to the outstanding service, the hotel also impressed me with its clean and spacious rooms, delicious dining options, and convenient location near the scenic attractions of Lushan. Everything about my stay exceeded expectations. Overall, Lushan Howard Johnson delivers both comfort and top‑tier hospitality. I especially want to thank Mr. Yi Yang for his professionalism and kindness, which made my visit truly exceptional. I will definitely return and recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel felt quite new, clean, and tidy, and all the staff were really nice. They offer shuttle services to and from the cable car station and the main street station. Every morning, Master Bao (包师傅) drove us to the main street station and picked us up in the evening. He was so kind and patient (we actually felt a bit embarrassed with how often we requested the hotel car). Huge thanks to him! I didn't have high expectations for a scenic area hotel's breakfast, but the all-season breakfast far exceeded them. There was a wide variety of food, plenty of vegetables and high-protein options, and the fruit was super fresh. The tofu, shredded pork, and vegetable soup was especially delicious. They also had freshly ground coffee. You can also order lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant, which has a clean environment, and for me, it felt more reassuring than eating at outside restaurants.

The hotel we stayed at when we went to Wucheng Town to watch birds is relatively new. The ventilation system in the room has some problems and it is quite stuffy. The flashing light of the toilet seat is very disturbing at night and we cannot unplug the wires. The breakfast and service attitude are OK.

This is probably the only ” international ” option in Ruichang. There was only coke and water as soft drink for breakfast one day.

Hotel is at the outskirts but near famous Donglin Temple, walking distance about 5-8 minutes. Ideally, suitable for believers who spend more time in the temple. Big Buddha is at another spot quite a distance away but reachable by Didi. Hotel and rooms with balcony are elegantly decorated exclusively Zen tastes, settings. It is surrounded by trees, green hills and unpolluted fresh air. A pleasant feeling, feeling peaceful in the compound. There is a small stream opposite the hotel with soothing sound flowing down stream. Tasty morning and evening Chinese vegetarian are served, 58 Rmb for evening buffet. Opposite the main Donglin Temple, there are waiting taxis, restaurants, convenience shops. Not much night activities after 8 pm, perhaps night activities are in the city and railway stations. A good place to quiet the mind and distractions.
