MMengmenghensongThe butler service at Fanjingshan Yunshe Courtyard is absolutely top-notch. Even before check-in, they proactively sent warm reminders and travel guides. Upon arrival, they helped with luggage and offered locally brewed welcome tea. When the weather turned cold, they brought extra blankets without us asking. Any requests were promptly handled, and their 24/7 attentiveness made us feel right at home.
The village where the courtyard is located, Yunshe Village, is truly a fairyland. Known as the 'First Tujia Village in China,' it's framed by green mountains, with the Longtan River winding through. Tujia wooden houses are reflected in the water, and flagstone paths connect fields and homes. There's no commercial hustle and bustle, just ducks and geese swimming, and windmills turning. Strolling through, the natural beauty and slow pace allow for complete relaxation.

Amenities: The facilities are comprehensive, with a viewing balcony offering breathtaking scenery. It's very close to the scenic area's main entrance.
Cleanliness: Excellent, spotless, and the water purifier was a great bonus. All towels and toiletries were specially washed and individually packaged.
Environment: The surrounding environment is beautiful, with a riverside path perfect for an after-dinner stroll.
Service: Superb, it's among the best guesthouses we've ever stayed in.

Fanjingshan was a key stop on our Guizhou road trip with our family of three. Originally planned for only one night, we decided to extend our stay due to the comfort of Wild Lodge! After carefully selecting two nights on Ctrip, the riverside Wild Lodge did not disappoint.
✨ Surprising Upgrade and Heartwarming Service: Arriving around 6 PM, the owner warmly upgraded us to the largest room free of charge, instantly dispelling our travel fatigue.
The next day, for our hike, the owner thoughtfully prepared a hot bowl of pork bone soup noodles for breakfast and provided free transportation to the scenic area entrance – convenient and heartwarming.
🏞️ Perfect Weather, Another Haven After the Hike: We were incredibly lucky on the day of our hike; the Golden Summit under the clear sky was breathtaking, and we successfully conquered both summits!
After descending the mountain, a simple phone call later, and the owner again provided free transportation back ”home” – a truly touching gesture.
🌊 Leisurely Riverside Fun, Pleasant Moments: After a short rest back at the guesthouse, we took the children to play in the clear river in front of the door. The babbling water and children's laughter created the most relaxing and pleasant moments of the trip.
💯 Summary: The guesthouse not only boasts a convenient location (near the riverbank), but also impeccable service (complimentary upgrade, thoughtful breakfast, multiple free shuttles) and a comfortable environment, making our trip to Fanjingshan even more wonderful. Highly recommended for families, it's a trustworthy and welcoming haven.

GGuest UserThe hotel facilities are new and stylish. The public areas are beautiful, with a dedicated tea area. There's a small river outside the restaurant, offering stunning scenery. The owner is incredibly warm; although breakfast wasn't included in the booking, he prepared noodles, eggs, and rice noodles for us, saying it was a treat—the taste and presentation were excellent. The next day, for our hike, he thoughtfully provided two bottles of water, gloves, and raincoats—a thoughtful touch. The hotel's location is excellent, with free parking and charging facilities right outside. The facilities are very convenient, offering drop-off and pick-up services at attractions. We booked the top floor, a very spacious room with a large terrace—fantastic! The bedding was very comfortable. The owner specially brewed tea made by his son, and you could feel his pride in his son. Raw peanuts—this year's fresh peanuts—were available at the front desk and on the tea table; they were crunchy and sweet, which we especially loved. Highly recommend staying here!

GGuest UserFound a hidden gem guesthouse on this Fanjing Mountain trip! The decor is fresh and inviting, with a lovely courtyard surrounded by greenery. Waking up to mountain views right outside our window was picturesque and perfect for photos. The facilities are brand new, with WiFi, AC, and toiletries all provided. The owner was incredibly thoughtful, helping us plan our hiking routes up and down the mountain and even advising us on the best time to catch the sea of clouds. It's super close to the mountain gate, which saved us the hassle of an early morning rush. In the evenings, we could relax and chat over tea in the courtyard. Location, cleanliness, and service were all top-notch. Truly the best guesthouse in Dong Village – I've already recommended it to all my friends planning a trip to Fanjing Mountain!

XXteroVery happy i stayed here. The check-in process was very smooth. The girls at the front desk were so pretty and charming. Very welcoming as well! I was a bit disoriented. As a foreigner in a small town it’s difficult to figure out what to eat and where to go, so i really appreciated all the help and advice they gave me. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. I slept extremely well and the shower was so good. The breakfast i had in the morning was delicious and satisfying as well. I will definitely stay here again if i return to Yanhe.

JjejhdhshahgdhdTo witness the beauty of Fanjingshan Mountain, I booked a guesthouse not far from the foot of the mountain. Surprisingly, the most memorable experience was enjoying a homemade sour soup hot pot the night before the climb, and setting off fireworks together by the fire.
Accommodation is a crucial part of any trip. This guesthouse was 1.9km from the East Gate, allowing me to set off at 7 am to reach the Red Cloud Golden Summit early, arriving at the entrance before 7:40 am. After the climb, to catch a quick taxi ride back and forth from the East Gate starting point, it only cost 24 RMB – incredibly cheap and convenient.
For someone carrying several wet clothes, arriving at the guesthouse felt like a breath of fresh air. I booked a twin room, spacious and clean, with a tranquil stream right outside – peaceful and beautiful.
I went straight from Tongren Railway Station to Shiqian, and then took a taxi from Shiqian to this guesthouse. I was a little disappointed that I hadn't had Tongren matcha, but when I arrived at the guesthouse at 3 pm, the owner was grinding her own matcha powder and making matcha noodles for herself. Being able to enjoy it for such a low price was a delightful surprise!
The landscape design within the guesthouse is a masterpiece meticulously crafted by the owner, both practical and aesthetically pleasing. I had initially been eager to explore the mountains, but I was captivated by the babbling brooks and charming bridges. Chatting with the guests and enjoying the scenery became my cherished memories of Jiangshan County and Tongren.
In short, this place was convenient and clean as a lodging, but what truly set it apart was the unexpected and exceptional human touch.

We opted for this hotel for the gorgeous courtyard type of layout. The hotel deserves the attention and my lengthy review as the architect/ designer has such an exquisite taste which shows off in the smallest details. The select of burl wood trims with marble patterns, stylish lighting fixtures…
Rooms are spacious and full of technology. Bathroom with heat floor and even ironized glass which offers instant privacy with a click of a button.
This hotel alone is worth couple nights of stay where one could plan a getaway from the city life and fully immerse themselves in the hotel’s garden trails.
This hotel is great for tourists who prioritize monetary value as It’s essentially a five star luxury resort for a fraction of the price.
However, for those who enjoy a slower pace and a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy tourisy area it offers more.
This hotel had become an integral part of my spiritual retreat escaping city and exploring the FANJING mountain area.

AAnonymous UserThe room checked the bathroom and the towels were stained with blood. Helped to change the room, the sheets had footprints, and the rooms changed the sheets. Health quality control is too bad, and it also locates high-end hotels. This hardware condition is similar to a small county hotel.
The layout of the first room is different from the picture. Later I learned that it was all ai pictures. It is recommended to avoid pits with hygiene requirements.

When we checked in, we booked two rooms at different price points, but the hotel assigned us the cheaper one. After we complained, they claimed it was for our convenience.
Secondly, I booked a room for my parents that included breakfast, but why did the hotel charge them for breakfast in the morning? My parents called me, and I quickly clarified that their room included breakfast, and only then was they not charged.
The stay was extremely poor, and the hygiene was appalling.
