Pet Friendly Hotels in Tongren

The place is located very near to Fanjingshan east gate entrance/visitor centre, approximately 10 minutes walk. The owner is very friendly and gave us helpful tips on purchasing entrance tickets and beating the crowd. They have a restaurant on the ground floor so getting food was really convenient for us. The food was great and the servings were generous. Our room was clean and spacious. They even provided a very traditional tea set for use, but unfortunately we were short on time. Highly recommend!

Cleanliness- excellent. The room is clean n dust free which is important for me due yo my allergies. Location- excellent. It is a short walking distant to the entrance gate of the scenic area. Surrounding the hotel has many eateries which are less than 1 minute of walking. This makes dinning easier for a solo traveller. Services- excellent. The owner helped to arrange transport to pick me up upon arrival at the railway station and also for departure. The owner also helped to hang my washed clothes to dry when I was late to pick up my washed clothes. The owner also advised me on places to visit and even shares a plate of melon she bought. Every morning, I was greeted with big smile from the owner which made my day sunny. Overall, it was ab excellent stay. Highly recommended.

The environment and sanitation are first-class. I had a very happy stay this time. The price of this location is also very good. There are also food nearby. The house is exquisite and fully equipped. The layout and decoration of the entire room reveal the hotel's design care and skill!

Came to Fanjing Mountain for my graduation trip, and this guesthouse offered incredible value for money. The Dong village is picturesque, perfect for photos, and the facilities are complete with everything you could need. The owner provided an electronic hiking guide that helped us avoid the crowds, and even reminded us to reserve a spot for Red Cloud Golden Peak by scanning a QR code. The service was also excellent; they helped with luggage and offered free shuttle service to and from the scenic area, saving us the hassle of finding a taxi. The tearoom was a great spot to relax and chat. Seriously, no complaints at all – it’s the top choice for students visiting Fanjing Mountain!

It was a very satisfying trip. Before choosing a place, I hesitated about whether to stay closer to the scenic area entrance, but based on my experience, I would recommend staying directly in the village. It's more physically demanding for hiking, and meals are more convenient. The owner can pick you up and drop you off at the scenic area entrance. We also found out after arriving that you can arrange pick-up and drop-off services in Tongren city in advance, and the price is slightly cheaper than taking a taxi. The owners are very easy to talk to, so there's no need to worry about any disputes. Although the facilities aren't particularly high-end, it's worth the price.

Location, location, location! It is only 200m walk away from the queue entrance of Fanjing Mountain. If you are taking the direct bus from Tongren Station / Tongren Bus Station, you shall alight at the Fanjing Mountain Tourist Information Centre and the homestay is just about 250m away. As we are foreigner and unclear of which direction to walk to, we contacted the boss to pick us up. The boss assisted with our luggage and guided us patiently on the directions. He suggested us to pay Zhaisha Dong Village a visit if time permits. The boss even drove us back and forth to as there isn't Didi service up in the mountain. The room of the homestay is spacious, clean and new. The boss and his father are super nice and enthusiastic. Fanjing Mountain is grand but has lots of bugs and mosquitoes. So do remember to bring along your insect repellent.

The service is impeccable! Contact the hotel in advance to inform you that you will be late. The front desk not only waited patiently, but also recommended nearby nightingale food. When I checked in, I found that the room was very romantic, the viewing balcony was facing the mountain view, and the stars could be seen at night, and the atmosphere was full! The room is very comfortable, especially the mattress and bedding are particularly comfortable to sleep, the shower and hot water are also very good, a very good experience, the next day plan to go to the scenic spot, the front desk brother took the initiative to remind the weather changes, and provided rain gear and pick-up service for free, the details are full! New hotel, towels are also very clean, facilities are complete, the rooms are clean and tidy, the decoration style is simple and warm, the facilities are also very new, and the stay is very comfortable. The proprietress is also very good, very enthusiastic, highly recommended to the friends who are pursuing quality!

Peeling paint and mold were the less serious drawbacks of this place. When we checked in, we booked two rooms at different price points, but the hotel assigned us the cheaper one. After we complained, they claimed it was for our convenience. Secondly, I booked a room for my parents that included breakfast, but why did the hotel charge them for breakfast in the morning? My parents called me, and I quickly clarified that their room included breakfast, and only then was they not charged. The stay was extremely poor, and the hygiene was appalling.

I booked a room for two nights, totaling 265 RMB. The room was quite small, especially compared to other hotels I've stayed at for a similar price. The decor was very dated, and the window faced the highway with the hotel's brightly lit sign, so I could hear cars and people all night. The window couldn't be closed, only the curtains. There was also a sticker on the bathroom door depicting a nude classical European woman. On the positive side, it's located directly across from Zhongnanmen Ancient City, making it very convenient to get to the ancient city and the pedestrian street. The staff were also very friendly and provided good service. Overall, it's probably best suited for backpackers with good sleep quality.

.I came here on a business trip with my friends. We booked a river view room. The view was nice, the room was quite spacious, the layout was good, and it was clean. It is worth mentioning that the front desk also took us to find a restaurant to eat, because we were not familiar with this place, which was really good. They also made me a cup of tea, which was good. All in all, very satisfied!
