This is probably the best accommodation in Jingmai Mountain. The hotel has a Wabi-sabi design, with exquisite details that make every photo Instagram-worthy. The in-room amenities are top-notch: a full set of Aesop toiletries, Duravit sanitary ware, and Hansgrohe showerheads and faucets.
The most impressive feature is the tea room on the third floor, where you can enjoy complimentary tea from their own tea garden, as well as coffee. Sitting in the tea room in the morning, watching the sea of clouds slowly roll over the mountain peaks, truly feels like living on the edge of the clouds. Waking up in the morning, you don't even need to get out of bed, as the flowing mountains and mist are right outside your window.
The service is a huge plus, especially manager Ah Qin. She contacted us before check-in to confirm our needs, and after we arrived, she gave us a tour and chatted with us, making us feel like friends. She even prepared a small gift when we checked out. Her warmth wasn't a forced formality; it was genuine hospitality from the heart. Any requests we had during our stay were met with incredibly prompt responses. Overall, it was a mountain retreat experience that far exceeded our expectations.

Mengruochenxi12In Jingmai Mountain, time isn't measured in hours, but in 'cups of tea.'
Staying here for two days felt like being cleansed by the mountain mists. I woke up to watch the sea of clouds spill over the tea plantations, spent afternoons on the terrace sipping tea and daydreaming, and in the evenings, watched the sunset paint the distant mountains gold. The room was spacious, and every window offered a picturesque view. The wellness experience here is wonderful—it's not a forced 'healing' but rather a natural process that helps you slow down.
The most unforgettable moment was a morning after the rain, with the air filled with the scent of tea and earth. In that instant, I felt that life is truly worth living.

Last year, I decided to spend three days in Jingmai Mountain for Chinese New Year. Coincidentally, the Holiday Inn at the foot of Jingmai Mountain was about to open and offering a promotion, so I booked it without hesitation. The hotel is located in Huimin Town, at the base of Jingmai Mountain. In town, there's Bolian, Liushi, and reportedly, an Aman that's under construction. The hotel's immediate surroundings are nothing special; the commercial area meant to complement it feels unfinished, but it doesn't affect your stay. Parking is right by the hotel entrance on the roadside. The room seemed to have been treated for formaldehyde, as there was no strange odor. Breakfast was decent, but felt a bit basic. I think it could be more elaborate, considering it's a resort hotel. The staff were all very enthusiastic and proactive in resolving any issues; their attitude was excellent, they were never unhelpful. After all, it's an international chain with consistent training, standards, and service.

Waking up early and opening the balcony door, I was deeply moved by the layers of mist, the sea of clouds, and the birdsong. There's no gym here, but Aileng Mountain is right behind the hotel, and a hike there is incredibly refreshing! There are many activities, and the companions were very enthusiastic. I originally wanted to hire a local guide, but the hotel took us on a hike to Wengji Ancient Village on the first day, and to Aileng Mountain on the second day (the 4km descent was perfectly manageable for a 4.5-year-old, who still had plenty of energy afterward). The stories told by Father Niula at the fire pit and the companions were also excellent~~
As for the room, the architecture and facilities are good, though some parts are a bit old, but it's not a big deal. It's truly great; I love hotels with a strong sense of experience and culture. It really embodies the idea of 'experiencing' things.

Jingmai Mountain Pu'er is my absolute favorite, the only choice when visiting Jingmai. With a massive footprint, it features just over 30 guest rooms, dedicating vast spaces to common areas, including extremely generous tea rooms and reading nooks – what's not to love? The hotel's service is a major highlight; the restaurant staff remembered us from day one, catering thoughtfully to our daily preferences and dislikes. Doing nothing but sipping tea and basking in the sun in the tea room every day—this is my dreamed life!
This time, the hotel's partnered photography service, 'Caomu Tea,' even included a complimentary ethnic costume photoshoot in Nuogan Ancient Village. The makeup and outfits were probably the best in the village. The lady helping us choose photos, Youyou, was incredibly patient, guiding us slowly through the selection without any hard selling. We were very pleased with the photos of our daughter!

The hotel is very big and beautiful, full of ethnic customs, the air in the mountains is very fresh, the hardware facilities are very good, and it is suitable for a family vacation.
The hotel's hot springs are really good and very comfortable to soak in.
It takes three hours to drive from Pu'er, which is a little far.
The only shortcoming is the hotel's service. Such a good resort deserves better service support. For example, you can introduce the layout of the hotel when checking in, otherwise it is a bit easy to get lost in such a large area. The hot spring area can be equipped with a place to sell drinks or provide drinking water. I couldn't find a sip of water in the hot spring area. There are also some small details. In fact, strengthening the training of service staff can bring a better experience to customers.

SydenyWe originally didn’t have high expectations for accommodation in a small border town without access to high-speed rail or highways. Unexpectedly, we were pleasantly surprised by this resort hotel located by the lake. Special thanks to Xiao Zhou. Hearing that I was traveling with two elderly people, he upgraded us for free. We stayed in a two-story villa, and the service was attentive and the details were considered. If the follow-up itinerary had not been arranged, I would have stayed a few more days.
Environment: A resort hotel located beside the lake and primeval jungle, with fresh air and beautiful scenery. Small villas are scattered in the forest, private, quiet and comfortable.
Hygiene: Cleaning is very careful, toiletries are very good
Service: There are welcome fruits upon check-in, free drinks in the refrigerator, and free tie-dye and DIY perfume activities. In the morning, the staff also led us to go hiking in the forest, which was great

A very nice place! I highly recommend friends who drive by themselves to come here. There are not many people, and it feels like a private place. The infinity pool is very suitable for taking photos and checking in. Unfortunately, it was a bit cold on the day of check-in, so it was not suitable for swimming. The air in the mountains is very fresh. If there were no camp lights on all night, this place would be more suitable for stargazing. The breakfast is very rich and delivered to the door. I ordered a set of Chinese and Western food, and the dishes were also very attentive. The drinks, fruits and instant noodles in the room are free, which is very humane. If you don’t want to order dishes at night, you can make do with a meal in the room. The hygiene products are also good, and there are even children's products (although I don’t have children).

Wyndham Hotel is a high-end quality hotel, and the overall experience of Wyndham is superb every time you go out! The room is large with good lighting and sound insulation. The facilities are convenient and comfortable to use. The hygiene is very meticulous. The front desk service is very thoughtful and the communication ability is strong. The free popsicles in the lobby are very intimate. It makes people feel comfortable and comfortable when they step into the hotel. It is worth recommending to everyone!

Anonymous UserI saw the reviews mentioning it was in a trial operation, so I didn't have high expectations. But when I got there, I was shocked! Isn't this like staying on a construction site? It was terrible. The room was relatively clean, but the shower drainage was awful; the water would flood out into the main bathroom area. I woke up the next morning to find the water still hadn't dried, so I couldn't even shower.
The breakfast was okay. The complimentary lunch was indistinguishable from an employee meal, just a few dishes served in metal containers.
I called beforehand to ask if the hot springs were open, and they said they'd be available from 9 AM. I planned to soak after breakfast, but the staff was still cleaning the indoor hot spring pools. I walked around the hotel and found that all the outdoor hot spring pools were unusable; the water was so dirty it looked like it hadn't been changed in months. I went back to my room and waited a while, then checked at 12 PM and saw there were still hoses in the pools. In the end, I checked out without being able to use them.
The only positives were the snack street outside the hotel and the good front desk service.
