"The hotel is very beautiful and it is interesting to have a mango garden of your own. You can rent a bicycle from the hotel to ride to the town, and you can go bird watching in good weather. The hotel is all female staff, supporting women in employment, very professional and gentle ~"

Amazing
MMINBooked the Danbulak Kandalam Heritage Hotel, but later said the hotel was full, let ’s change the hotel, changing the hotel we wanted before the trip was really uncomfortable at first, then Ctrip let us choose the hotel ourselves because of time I was nervous when I chose the water garden hotel, but I did n’t have much hope, but the staying experience was very good, the rooms are comfortable, the environment is quiet, you can overlook the Lion Rock. Returned the difference to me, very good hotel, added points for my trip to Sri Lanka, thanks
GGuest UserXanadu, quiet and comfortable. The service is thoughtful, the food is delicious and outrageous, the butler service is provided, and our butler is praised. When we see that the child does not get up for breakfast, we will take the initiative to prepare take-out. We will pick us up to Lion Rock at less than five o'clock in the morning. You need them to be there at any time. Like 👍
__zgrs4400300005****On the way to the hotel, surrounded by farmland and jungle, I wondered if I had booked the wrong hotel and ended up on a farm. Upon arriving at the hotel entrance, the staff and receptionist greeted us and offered us refreshing juice, which felt incredibly cool and comfortable. The villas were connected by walkways, each room offering a private and secluded space. We fell asleep to the sounds of birdsong at night. There was a swimming pool and a hot tub, providing a relaxing retreat for weary travelers. The next morning's breakfast was plentiful and delicious, defying the notion that Sri Lanka lacks good food. The hotel's high-quality service and beautiful environment were truly commendable!
GGuest UserI was able to stay in the wilderness and the service was great, but the drainage of the shower in the villa I stayed in was completely useless and the water overflowed from the shower room. Fortunately, there was another bathroom, so I tried to use it, but I don't think it will improve unless I redo the left-handed construction on the floor of the shower room. And when I was taking a shower in the middle of the night, the water supply suddenly stopped coming out, so I spilled it with mineral water. If I hadn't improved by the morning, I was going to tell the front desk, and I was going to leave in the morning.
MMishideyu197013This is an underrated hotel. It is located on the lakeside with a great view. It is said that you can see elephants, but unfortunately, we didn't see any. The room is a single-family villa and very comfortable. The restaurant is great and the bar next to the swimming pool is very atmospheric. It is highly recommended.
RRomalee RoweExcellent staff and food.
Point to note - the hotel is literally in the jungle. It’s remote. You’ll feel bugs and insects, so walk with a repellent, but I think it is a wonderful experience.
ちちこるんWe stayed for 2 nights for sightseeing in Sigiriya Rock, but it was a nice resort hotel living in a large forest.
The room was a two-story cottage style and our room was on the first floor. It was noisy that the footsteps of the people on the upper floor heard the slapstick from 4 o'clock in the morning and I was worried about the smell of the drain, but the rice was delicious (breakfast did not change much) It was good to be able to eat comfortably at the restaurant in front of the pool where the refreshing breeze passes. I had dinner because there was no restaurant nearby, but I chose the first night from the a la carte menu, and the second night was a buffet with plenty of curry and desserts. On the second day, I was troubled because I couldn't use Wi-Fi on the 1 day due to network failure, but it was fixed the next morning.
The staff were kind and smiley. Because the hotel is remote, I asked the hotel to arrange a round trip to Sigiriya Rock and a round trip to Pidulangara, but it was said that it was 4800 ruby twice. The same driver came on both days and was a good young man, but the local guide was surprised that this price was much higher than the tuk-tuk I caught around it. Please be careful if you are using it.
GGuest UserKalundewa Retreat has an amazing concept and a beautiful, secluded location that really stands out. The surroundings are peaceful and unique, making it a lovely place to disconnect. That said, there are visible signs of wear and tear in certain areas, and some aspects of property maintenance could be improved.
However, what truly made up for this was the hotel team — their service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent and clearly prepared with care, which added greatly to the overall experience. With better upkeep, this place has the potential to be exceptional.
GGuest UserThe environment is great, a large mango garden, the hotel only occupies a small area in the middle, walk in the early morning and evening in the middle of the green grass, monkeys running around the hotel, or relax on a deck chair in the room with a balcony at night Drinking a clear spring. The dinner buffet is very rich, and the meals at noon are also very good. The swimming pool is downstairs, enjoying the food while overlooking the greenery, mango trees, coconut trees and the swimming pool, it is really enjoyable. Hotel service staff The service is also very professional.
