Last minute booking made with this hotel ended up as my favourite accomodation in TW till date. Service was awesome. There was always a hotel staff opening the main door for guests to enter. Receptionist was friendly and offered a free upgrade to suite. Upgraded room was very spacious and clean. Came with Loccitane toiletries. Seems that guests are mainly Japanese. Location is quite convenient with shops nearby. A pity I got to check out before sunrise to catch an early morning flight. Would stay here again when I visit Taipei next time.

We lived on the lower floor, without looking around, and the room was clean in every way. There are many restaurants nearby, and it is very convenient to get in the wrong car. Thank you to the Doubletree staff, everyone is friendly and helpful.

We chose this because it is located somewhere between ximending and xingyi district. It’s convenient to get a taxi. We have 12 paxs in this trip. When we reached on 1 Nov , it was pretty late, between 9pm - 10pm. All of us were very tired and kinda disoriented after a long day’s car ride. When we had alighted from our vehicles, immediately the bell boy told us not to block the hotel entrance. Our driver immediately told them we just reached and stood here for less than 5 minutes, how to check into the hotel without alighting the vehicles ? It was an unpleasant “welcome” experience. The hotel conceige staff also made mistakes when issuing our door cards. This hotel has its rules and regulations. If you want to have an easy going holiday experience, there are better ones.

The rooms does not seem to be sound proof can hear customers talking along the corridor or opening the doors. Also there not much hooks inside the bathroom. Location is really good except the stairs to caesar mall, very inconvenient for tourists with luggage. Overall still a good experience

For one of the best business hotels in Taipei, it fell way short of expectations. The room was not cleaned properly prior to check-in and we found cracked dry noodles on the floor. Despite reporting to the front desk manager, and it was promised to be cleaned again, it was still there when we returned to the hotel. They eventually cleaned it and offered us complementary services (not disclosing here). Also, for a 5-star hotel to provide slippers without cushions, it was nearly a paper slipper that is usually provided in a 3-star hotel which is quite disappointing. Generally it is not a cheap night rate but in terms of luxury, it is not there yet.

City Suites Taipei Nanxi is well located very close to Dihua Street and conveniently connected to Beimen MRT station and Taipei Main Station which allow to go everywhere. The room was big and clean with big beds. It was quiet despite being on the main street. The breakfast was good as well a mix of western and asian food and the breakfast room was in a peaceful atmosphere.

The hotel was abit old but the quality of service provided by the staff is excellent. Specifically, their helpfulness in resolving issues such as a faulty lock on luggage and thr 17th floor staff was try their best to comfort guests during an earthquake, even though they were also concerned themselves. Only that the bathroom is abit inconvenience, you have to climb in to the bathtub to bath.

As a transit hotel in Taipei, I did love my one-night stay at the K Hotel-Tianjin. I chose the smallest room still with a view, what a surprise, normally based on the price I‘ll get a no-window room, K Hotel offers clean yet affordable accommodation with breakfast, TOTO washlet, minibar, SONY TV and functional AC. Stayed in The Tango Taipei Linsen for 15 nights of my compulsory Taiwan quarantine period, during July 2021. The booking, as it's for Taiwan entry quarantine purpose, had be to done directly through them. Their good and efficient service started from there, with clear and prompt communication for my booking and payment. The great service continued and became even better once checked in. They understand how difficult it is for a guest that is going through a 15- night quarantine in Taiwan, hence they would do anything to help, from answering relevant questions, helping with any needs during the stay etc. All the communication with the reception staff was efficiently done through their LINE instant messaging. They even once 'rescued' me from my original room due to an uncontrollable leakage of air-con water flooding, by immediately changed me to another room with the same specifications, which was justifiable during the quarantine. I booked and stayed with a slightly larger room (Junior Suite/尊榮套房), and the layout was great to force myself, as for the quarantine period, to maintain a healthy routine. It has a bedroom area and a separate office/lounge area. It was definitely worth the little extra money! The room came with all the necessary amenities I needed for the 15-nights and they were always ready to supply more if needed. What's more important was, it was spotless clean and hygienic! The whole hotel is currently, as this review is written, served as a quarantine hotel, so no concern of mixing the hotel guests. The stay I booked included all meals, and I must say they did look out for the variety, tastiness and even the nutritional balance of all meals. Considering there was very little difference in prices (only 200 NT extra per room per night), I'd recommend the meal-included option when booking their quarantine rooms. If that still didn't satisfy, online orders of takeaway food could be ordered anytime, and they would deliver to my door. I was going to check in to another Tango Hotel (Tango Inn Zhongshan) upon the completion of my quarantine. The staff, without me having requested, liaised directly with the other Tango Hotel, to allow me to check in as early as midday. Then that's the 'extra mile' they went for me! Overall for the purpose of a hotel quarantine, it was a very pleasant stay, all made possible by the kind, thoughtful staff and the hotel's professional services. Thank you once again!

The flight was delayed, so there was someone at the front desk when I checked in late at night, and the service attitude was very considerate. Check-in went very smoothly! The room was clean except for the carpet which was a little bit old. The room temperature was also very comfortable. My friend used their jacuzzi every night we stayed there so the hotel earned an automatic 5 stars from her. Overall, the hotel building we stayed at is old but clean and you could see vestiges of its history which adds to its character. The breakfast buffet choices are relatively few and the buffet area small, but the food is ok and sufficient for breakfast. The staff are all brisk but friendly. The location is also really convenient, since there are a lot of good restaurants around, including a PX Mart, 7-11 and a Family Mart. It is also convenient for us because our group prefers to take the cab; however, if you prefer to take the MRT, most line exits are about 15-30 minutes walk away from the hotel.

- Paid extra for a better room, Totally Worth It! Big and clean, but no view - Great location, easy access to the Taipei main station. I can get to anywhere easily. My Tainan friend caught a High Speed Rail to visit me, it was easy for her to get here - I would recommend to go straight up to the ground and drag your suitcase on the street with you if you are taking the Airport Express to Taipei station (Do not walk all the way to the MRT train closet exit because there are stairs) - I like the restroom, bathtub and shower. The Japanese washlet is fantastic because you cannot just throw toilet paper in the toilet in Taiwan - Bed is a bit too firm for me, personally prefer softer mattress - Breakfast has limited choices, I wish there are more - Staffs are very helpful and friendly. I was waiting for a shop to restock something, since I didn’t have a local number, I left the hotel number to the shop, and big thanks to Peggy for her help!!!

Love the location which is at the Ximending area and in front of the subway exit, convenient to roam till late at night. However disappointed upon finding out the room we stay due to the lack of details upon booking. It was advertised as room with window but not able to open. But in fact it is a small window (around 60cm? Width) facing the next building window hence need to close it all the time. Perhaps it would be better to know ahead that this is a room without window or view to avoid disappointment. Bed is firm and size of the room is good. Design of toilet and shower area is good but the choice of tiles could be better to avoid mold which is apparent at the shower area. Breakfast spread is decent and healthier choice kind.

The service is very good. The room is a little smaller than expected and the soundproofing is average. You can hear some noise when someone walks around outside. The bath, toilet and area for washing face and mouth are separate. As soon as I wash my face and brush my teeth, the floor is all wet, and the water barrier of the shower door is not fixed. After taking a shower, the floor is wet even though there is a towel hanging at the door to absorb water. But the effect is average and the water cannot be absorbed.

The hotel is near to Taipei Main Station, so it's convenient for us who are travelling to Taipei for the first time. The other reviews from fellow travellers helped me find my way to the hotel, use exit Y13 of the Taipei City Mall and it's only about less than 5 minutes walk from there. They allow us to leave our bags in the morning prior to check in time, check in and check out process was smooth, provided iron and ironboard for us, the room was clean. It's just that their definition of making up the room is I guess only throwing up trashes and replacing water bottles. The bed wasn't made up and towels were not replaced every day. Not a dealbreaker for me though. When you are not bringing luggages, I suggest you walk by the roadside, can go down to any exits that you found because walking underground can be suffocating sometimes and it feels farther than it seems for me. 😄 Overall, would stay here again when I come back one day!!
