A lot has changed since we were there 8 years ago. Instead of ONYX-BAR there is now a restaurant. The breakfast buffet has also been abolished. I still like the rooms very much, only the water stain on the ceiling could have been renovated. Shortcoming was the third bed that was added, more like a camp bed model. The consumables were always replenished so we could make coffee whenever we wanted. I really appreciated that.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. From the moment we checked in, with a welcome drink and a great conversation with Dominic who gave us lots of tips tips and recommendations - to the incredible hotel room, just wow. They have really thought about every little detail, the interiors were beautiful, the bed was huge and so comfortable with the most amazing headboard. Beautiful big windows and a gorgeous view. Fluffy robes, a waterfall shower plus lots of mirrors and a vanity table. We also had drinks in the restaurant which was a very popular spot and again finished so beautifully. In addition to the above; the location perfect. Couldn’t recommend more

A family member found this hotel for seven of us and it was a brilliant choice for location. What was nice was they gave us the four rooms all together in a side wing and all the rooms were really large. We had a large separate lounge area which led to the bedroom and a lovely bathroom. The only thing I missed was tea/coffee making facilities, there was cups in the cupboard but that was it. We opted to have room only rather than bed and breakfast as we felt it was pricey and wouldn't really get value for money as we would have to eat quite a lot to get your moneys worth and some of us eat light first thing. We are glad we made this decision as literally two minutes from the hotel door is an excellent place where it suits all requirements serving hot breakfasts, fresh fruit and yogurts, cereal, croissants etc and very reasonably priced. We had planned to eat at different venues each morning but as this suited us all so well we ate there everyday except one day it was closed due to a national holiday there but there are plenty of places close by. If we go back I would do the same again this hotel and eat out for breakfasts.

There is a room with a six-story sloping roof. If you mind that the shading effect is not ideal in the morning and you cannot sleep well, don't choose it. The overall feeling of the hotel is very good, with a strong sense of design, the environment of the breakfast restaurant is very good, I also tried it for dinner, and it is a good product. Through communication, the hotel changed the room type the next day, with full blackout curtains, which completely solved the problem of affecting sleep. The overall service is also good. The location is very convenient. Just near the church and pedestrian street. Very easy to walk to different sights.

The duvet, the mattress protectors and the pillows are just the best. My teenage daughter did not want to get out of bed at all. The staff, especially the breakfast Staff were absolutely amazing. IRISH TEA!!. ! I’ve never had breakfast like that before in my life and obviously the free wine absolute bonus. I had asked three times at check in to clarify. Being Irish this was amazing I could’ve stayed in the hotel, the whole whole time. Oh the rain shower and Molton Brown products. Very high class hotel. OMG the roof top bar with complimentary cocktails

What an amazing little find! This hotel provides everything you could want for an amazing long weekend in this beautiful city. The rooms are a good size and well appointed. The welcome after a delayed flight was warm and accommodating… the personal handwritten note from the manager was a nice touch as were the truffles in the bedroom and the free minibar! The location is perfect, opposite the opera house and stop 1 on the tourist bus, positioned well for access to some amazing museums, heritage sites, gardens and the main shopping area if that is your thing. We had an inside room overlooking a ‘courtyard’… not the prettiest but it was very very quiet which for a city centre location was unusual. The breakfast was lovely, and the coffee and cakes in the patisserie divine. My only area of improvement… there was a lovely coffee machine in the room but no kettle… hot water for tea in the morning had to be called down for which always seemed a lot of trouble. The upside - we got up and out for breakfast early! A fabulous hotel in a wonderful city…. We will be back!

The location is very good, a bunch of famous shops nearby, it is very convenient to go to museums or important attractions, all on foot. The concierge helped book a seven-person car to visit the farther attractions such as Schönbrunn Palace. The driver was very nice and there was no additional charge for the timeout.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, the hotel has a long history, was established in 1600, the hotel service level is high, breakfast is good. There is a Hop on Hop off city tour bus route nearby, and the Metro Sweden Square Station is within a 10-minute walk of the hotel. If you want to drive by yourself, you should pay attention, because the parking space in Vienna is really tight. I happened to have a parking space (26 euros for one night) to stop the car.

This is a nice old style, old world hotel with big bedrooms and a nice position just a 15 to 20 minute walk into the center. All the staff were fantastic couldn’t be more helpful. Comfortable rooms decent shower a handy self-service snack bar downstairs. If you walk out of the hotel and turn right and walk up to the junction 25 minutes on the left-hand side, you’ll see on the corner a restaurant it’s round shaped restaurant, they do a fantastic club sandwich and chips. Also lovely local beer fantastic staff there as well.

The advantage is the location. As soon as the subway is out, you can see the hotel, which is on the pedestrian street, but taxis can also go to the door. Most of the attractions can be walked. This is my third stay in this excellent hotel. Terrific position, being just a five minute walk round the corner to St. Stephens Cathedral and ten minutes walk to the Opera House. We enjoyed our stay. We stayed for 4 nights in January so the outdoor weather was cold. What we liked: a very easy and friendly check-in. We arrived early in the morning and they stored our luggage until after 3. We came back showed them the luggage claim and the bellman took us up to the room, smooth and easy. The room was not large but not small either with two chairs for sitting very classical style furniture in a very clean room. The room had a wardrobe with safe, large comfortable bed and good pillows. The room was warm on nights that the temp was near freezing. The bathroom had ample towels and other toiletries. The water from the faucet was safe to drink, no odor or chemical smell. We drank it frequently. The hotel is in a well maintained older building. The breakfast was good. Several hot items from eggs and sausage, cold items like meats cheeses, a variety of salads and spreads, yogurts, breads, cakes, and cereals. Carafes of hot coffee brought to the table. The location was great within 3 minutes of St. Stephen's Cathedral and with about 10 in all directions of things on the outer edge of the old central city. About a 5 minute walk to the Sisi museum and Hof. The area was safe with much shopping around it and tourist and photography attractions. They gave us a late checkout so we could attend mass with Vienna Boys' Choir then held our luggage and called for a cab to take us to an airport hotel for an early morning flight. Very friendly staff from start to finish. What we didn't like: Very little to complain about really. The outside street was a bit loud during the early night because of a bar across the alley. The noise did not get out of hand or unbearable. There is no water kettle in the room and you have to pay for the coffee maker. The breakfast hostess/server was a bit pushy and kept correcting my wife's behavior for asking for an extra napkin or needing to use an extra spoon. She however would smile at me when I would get up and get the things for my wife. I did not like having to carry a hotel key around while touring. I kept worrying about its loss or thefts. Non of these things spoiled a wonderful trip to beautiful Vienna. We would stay here again. It was a pleasant experience and the hotel staff was always pleasant and helpful.

My two teenage children and I stayed in the Family Room for 3 nights in June 2022. The location of the hotel is unbeatable - right in the heart of the city and shopping area. A stone's throw away from a metro stop and the St. Stephen's cathedral. There are a lot of restaurants nearby to dine at, The State Opera House is a 4-min walk. The staff of the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. Our luggage didn't make the connection in Amsterdam and hotel staff went out of they way to call airlines. If you want to get to the hotel from the airport, take the CAT (City Airport Train) for 12 euros (kids under 15 ride for free) and get off at the first city stop (Landstrabe/ Wien Mitte). Then take the U3 subway line (buy separate ticket for 2,40 euros) and get off two stops at Stephanplatz. It's about a 25 min ride.

The location is good. Everyone at the front desk and butler was very kind. Breakfast is very suitable with lettuce and young leaves, because the only green vegetable is cucumber. When I explained that I couldn't eat breakfast because I left early the next morning, I was grateful to try to provide a simple breakfast, but for me, it was too early in the morning. I heard that my friend lives in a nearby hotel. Instead of eating breakfast, he eats fruit and lunch, so if there is such a service, it would be better. I live alone, so I am glad to hear from you at the front desk. Thank you for your help.
