Hotels in Xining Railway Station, Xining

I picked this hotel based on online recommendations. Facilities: Decent, and fairly comprehensive. However, the bathroom amenities were a bit basic – only a toothbrush and toothpaste were provided. There was no comb, shower cap, or disposable toilet seat cover. While I don't particularly mind the absence of a comb, I do think a shower cap and toilet seat cover are essential items that should be supplied. Cleanliness: Generally quite clean. Though I did notice some hair/dust when wiping surfaces with a wet wipe, it was acceptable overall. Location: Excellent, right next to the train station. Xining Station is less than a 10-minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient. It's surprisingly quiet despite being in a busy area, thanks to being on a high floor. I can only imagine how noisy the lower floors of the adjacent Quanji Hotel would be. Service: Acceptable. The laundry room setup could be improved; I'd suggest adding another dryer. Although there's no air conditioning, a small electric fan was provided, which was perfectly fine. They also have a humidifier. What's more, the room was incredibly spacious, and the generous 1.35m wide bed was a definite plus! The bedding quality was excellent, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. Free TV was also a welcome bonus. Breakfast was decent, and the yogurt was especially delicious.

Clean and excellent location. Firm bed with choice of pillows. The gym facilities are complete and well maintained. The laundry room is spacious with nice sitting area.

I came from Dongying and was familiar with the local Blue Sea environment. It's hard to describe what I found when I came to Xining Blue Sea. It used to be such a good hotel, but for some reasons it's incomparable to before. The hotel staff still provides services of a five-star hotel, but the hotel is probably understaffed and the facilities are really outdated. There is not even hot water all day long, and at night the hot water is a bit cold, with low water pressure, which is really bad in the winter.

The location is wonderful if you need the train, as it is literally just outside the train station, less than 10 minutes' walking from your train. We needed the day room to rest between the morning and evening trains, and it works well for us. However, there are some issues we did not like. 1. We booked and paid through Trip, but at the receipton (we checked in early, which was great!) the receiptionst requested 100 rmb, which he said was a deposit that must be paid on the spot, and will be refunded in the morning. This was suspicious to us because nothing of this sort was stated on Trip, and no other bookings in China we made through Trip ever required any deposits, even less so in cash. When I showed him the original booking and payment, and insisted that we are only taking the room for the day, he stopped insisting on the ”deposit.” 2. The room used to be very nice, indeed, and preserves some of that niceness still: the bed is wonderful, with crispy linen, multiple different pillows, and very clean. the bathroom is nicely decorated and contained basic amenities, and the storage space is wonderful and spacious. However, like in some other Chinese hotels we stayed, the indicators of maintenance are the shower and the carpeting. In this room, the bed is super clean, but the bathroom and carpeting are either poorly cleaned, or not at all. We found hair and even a wrapping in the shower, while the carpeting in the room, elevator, and corridors was not cleaned in a long time. And yet, there are some such nice touches in this room, like the living creeper placed in a small vase in the bathroom, or the very nice wardrobe. The room is currently missing a fridge (although there is space for it), and it has not AC, although the corridors are cooled well. Instead, there is a fan, which in the afternoon heat barely helped.

The hotel is located near Xining Train Station, with a bus stop right outside, making travel convenient. Although it's older, the facilities are good, and the price is a good deal. The service was excellent, with prompt delivery of water, towels, and other items. During our stay, we had a room malfunction, and they promptly moved us. The service was excellent.

Chaoman Hotel (Xining High-speed Railway Station Branch) A top choice for business travelers! The hotel's seamless connection to the high-speed railway station makes it incredibly convenient. Rooms are modern, spacious, and bright, featuring very comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff are efficient and professional. Guests will appreciate the 24-hour hot water and reliable high-speed Wi-Fi. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options. Whether for a quick stopover or an extended business trip, this hotel provides exceptional value for money. Highly recommended!

Haiyou Hotel is truly a hidden gem among budget hotels! The price is affordable, but the experience is incredibly good value. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable – it completely exceeded my expectations. For travelers on a budget who still want quality, this is definitely a top choice! The front desk staff was so warm and helpful! She proactively upgraded my room and even provided detailed information on local eateries and transportation routes. Any requests I had during my stay were addressed incredibly quickly, making me feel right at home.

This is my second time traveling to Xining. I chose Hello Hotel Xining Railway Station. The experience was really great! From the location point of view, it is very close to Xining Railway Station, about 15 minutes' walk away. For people like me who travel by train, it is really convenient. The facilities in the room are very new, the decoration style is simple and atmospheric, and it is very comfortable to live in. The room is of moderate size and will not make people feel cramped. It is also very clean. The towels, sheets and quilts are all white and new, and you can rest assured just by looking at them.

This time I chose the James Joyce Coffetel in Xining, and it was absolutely fantastic! The moment I stepped into the lobby, the aroma of coffee filled the air, and I instantly felt relaxed. The room was clean and cozy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and there were even complimentary pour-over coffee bags. Brewing a cup and slowly savoring it was incredibly delightful. The hotel's location is also very convenient, with easy access to dining and transportation. The front desk service was warm and attentive – my impression couldn't be better!
