Hotels in Xingping Ancient town/Yangshuo Railway Station, Yangshuo

Large room for 4 pp. Many electrical outlets. Bright and clean laminate wood floor. Mattress is good, not too hard, not too soft. Bath is large with all convenience (shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, large bath towel) and seating toilet (not squatting type, this is my premium concern) as well as half glass wall separating the shower from the rest. Bathroom has suffcated smell but it's gone when the small window is open. Staff is very helpful and nice. Electric scooter is rented out for 20 RMB/day which is very convenient to scout around the area and for dining out. Last but not least, the room rate is very competitive on Trip.com. I plan to come back here to stay at least 2 nights to visit whole area as I encounted the rain the whole time I came here. Hotel is located in a large corher of the street with easy car access. Highly recommended.

The room was great, a two-bedroom, one-living-room setup with tons of space, super clean and tidy, and fully equipped. The balcony was fantastic! Plus, there's a convenient shuttle bus service to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, which is a huge bonus if you're traveling with kids. The front desk and bellhops were all very warm and professional. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Attention to detail truly shines at Yintianju; the hardware facilities far exceeded my expectations. The entire place boasts a brand-new, light luxury renovation, complete with smart bathroom fixtures, an HD TV, and high-speed WiFi. The shower pressure is excellent, making for a fantastic bathing experience. The bedding is thick and soft, and the blackout curtains effectively block out strong light, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. Cleaning is meticulous – not a speck of dirt in the corners or on the glass mirrors, and the toiletries are of good quality. The rooftop has a large observation terrace with tables and chairs, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea. The laundry room and common lounge area are clean and tidy, with every facility well-maintained, emphasizing guest comfort. The hardware here easily beats other hotels in the same price range.

New hotel with great modern comforts. Supreme location and even better service. Rooms are futuristic, equipped met voice-controlled AI that operates lighting, windows and more. Rooms are small, but compact and comfortable, providing five-star amenities and service in a locale that has limited logistical support for true modern luxury. As a result, one of the nicest boutique stays during my trip in China. Service is really the big star here: from check-in to meals, laundry and help booking activities, the hotel's human touch and concierge service (also available via WeChat) is absolutely fantastic. From daily things like helping us with laundry and heating meals, as well travel highlights like helping to book great activities at good prices. Friendly, helpful and kind, every moment with the hotel staff they've gone above and beyond to provide an amazing experience. Special recommendation to book the traditional night fishing activity, which was really a unique experience. Hotel also runs a small restaurant close-by which serves amazing local home-cooked food at decent prices, really worth trying some time. Breakfast buffet is also simple, nutritional and great tasting. Moreover, amenities are comprehensive, extras are conveniently grabbed from reception, there's a convenience store open late downstairs and a coffee shop open early in the morning, in the same building. Did I mention amazing location? Right at the Xingping warf, with the higher level rooms overlooking the legendary 20 Yuan-bill-panorama from the room window. Rooms have balconies, baths, really nice. 15 minutes walk from everything, including the ancient town shopping and food streets, as well as all major sights. Literally 1 minute from the ferry across the river, from where you can grab Didi's to explore the other side of the area (don't taxi all the way around, just ferry and didi after). Again, amazing hotel, 100% recommended if you want to stay outside of overly touristy Yangshuo.

Super nice place to stay. The lady at the reception who we also think was the owner, was super friendly and professional. She was also speaking in English, which was super nice, as we did not have to use any translation apps like in other hotels. The room was clean and nice, with a balcony. We loved the balcony, as we were sitting during the night and enjoying the sound of nature. The hotel also offers food at the restaurant at the rooftop with a nice view. The location is amazing with people selling things under your balcony, close to the shops and restaurants from one side, whilst also close to the river and all the attractions on the other. Also, this is the exact location where you can go up to Laozhai mountain for the breathtaking view, the hiking route literally starts less than a minute away from the hotel. (P.S. please make sure you understand that the way up the mountain is very steep, with no build steps/stair, we literally climb up rocks - do not go when its dark). Thank you to the hotel for the amazing stay.

I absolutely loved Valley House for its location, cleanliness, exquisite taste, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and spotlessly clean. The views are unbeatable: the Li River is just a few meters away, and the famous mountains depicted on the 20 yuan banknote are right in front of the hotel. You just have to cross the street to rent a scooter. If you walk about 15 meters further down towards the Li River, you can book a bamboo boat ride, join a fisherman to observe the ancient practice of cormorant fishing, or simply stroll and relax along the bank. Every day, they offer a complimentary assortment of fresh fruit, and at the dining area counter, a variety of homemade beverages, such as homemade lemonade, freshly ground coffee, or date and ginger tea, are available 24/7. They also prepare delicious dishes upon request. The menu is quite extensive and includes vegetarian options, but meals need to be reserved before 9:30 PM the day before. The staff is exceptionally attentive, kind, and highly empathetic, something I had genuinely started to miss during this nearly month-long trip. Suffice it to say that every day, after feasting on their delicious dinners, they would offer me a small bowl of red bean paste soup, just in case I was still hungry. And this is just one example among many of the warm human touch provided by the staff at this hotel. Besides five stars, they deserve a five-heart rating. A real gem and, without a doubt, the best accommodation of this entire trip. I will never forget you. 🥰

This hotel is absolutely amazing! The moment you open the window, you're greeted by endless green mountains – such a soothing sight that even just staring out feels meaningful. The sunlight in the room is wonderfully gentle; in the afternoon, lounging on the sofa, watching the light and shadows play on the walls, you feel completely relaxed. The location is also perfect – close to Xingping Ancient Town but not noisy. You can step out for some food and sightseeing, then return to the peaceful mountains for some fresh air. If you're looking for a comfortable place to unwind in Yangshuo, this is definitely the one! We actually came to Yangshuo specifically for this hotel and spent a whole day just relaxing. [grin]

Choosing Dufuyayuan near the 20-yuan RMB scenic spot was truly an unexpected delight this time. This century-old house, converted into a guesthouse, perfectly captures an amazing ambiance. The ancient architecture combined with the greenery in the courtyard makes every spot picture-perfect. The guesthouse's overall cleanliness was impeccable. The bedding in the rooms was dry and soft, the bathrooms had no unpleasant odors, and even the corners were spotless. During our stay, the owner's service was exceptionally thoughtful; they proactively sent travel routes and local sightseeing guides before our arrival, and even provided helpful tips for purchasing tickets for the Yulong River bamboo raft. The guesthouse environment is serene, far from the noise of main road traffic. During the day, you can relax and cool off in the courtyard, and in the evening, you can enjoy distant views of the mountains and rivers. You can pre-order local farm-to-table dishes for all three meals; the ingredients are fresh and authentic, and the flavors are light and not greasy. The location is exceptionally convenient. You can walk directly to the banks of the Yulong River, avoiding the need to rush early in the morning. The overall accommodation experience far exceeded our expectations. It's an excellent base for family trips to Yangshuo, and we would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Yangshuo. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all travelers.

The lobby is clean and tidy, and the rooms are clean and odor-free. 🏠Decor: The decor is very well done, and the property is well-maintained, looking quite new. 🛏Facilities: The room facilities are complete; everything you need is available. 🛎Service: The hotel owner and staff provide excellent service, offering travel tips and recommendations. 💰Value for Money: Super high value for money. I would definitely choose this place again if I have the chance to visit.

This time, I brought my one-year-old to Yangshuo and discovered this hidden gem of a guesthouse in Xingping Ancient Town – Li Hua Chen's Garden. It was so worry-free, I nearly cried tears of joy! @Yangshuo Chen's Garden Resort Hotel 📍Perfect Location, No Stress with Kids The guesthouse is right in the core scenic area where the 20 RMB banknote backdrop is, built alongside the river, directly facing the Li River. A few steps downstairs take you to the bamboo raft boarding point, and exploring Xingping Ancient Town is super convenient. Open the window, and you're greeted by the picturesque Li River landscape. We could enjoy the mountains and rivers from our room with the baby, avoiding the crowds. 🏠Comfortable Room, Perfect Details The room came equipped with a Dyson hairdryer and a smart toilet. The mattress was a King Koil, and the pillows were white goose down – incredibly comfortable. There was also a clean, dreamy bathtub with milk bath salts. After the baby was asleep, I could soak in the tub and enjoy the mountain view, letting all the fatigue melt away! 📸Sky Mirror, Instant Blockbuster Shots The Sky Mirror on the 5th floor is a must-visit spot! The reflections of the mountains and rivers are as beautiful as a fairyland, making every shot a masterpiece. There's also a pool and garden on the first floor, and the baby had a blast playing in the yard. 💁♀️Attentive Service, Like Coming Home The service was absolutely impeccable! Not only did they offer free breakfast and afternoon tea, but also thoughtful late-night snacks. The staff were incredibly patient with my baby. They even brought me a pot of tea when they saw me organizing photos, and sent us off warmly when we checked out. Choosing the right accommodation is so crucial when traveling with kids, and this place is definitely the ultimate family-friendly spot in Yangshuo! While the baby is still young, let's show him more of this world 🌿
