When choosing a car, I was drawn to the free TNG card offered by the owner, thinking the service would be good. During my 8-day rental, I mainly drove for intercity travel; within the city, I relied entirely on Citywalk or public transportation. I didn't drive at night, so I didn't encounter any hats (car accidents), which was lucky. The car is a Saga, without a reversing camera; when parking, you just need to keep an eye on the car. Acceleration is slow, but in the outside world, unlike at home, slower is safer. It had already run over 70,000 kilometers when I borrowed it, suggesting the previous owner was less skilled, as the handbrake and gear shift were incorrect. Overall, it was a good car. I have over 20 years of driving experience, at least 10 years driving manual transmissions, and 3 years of driving experience abroad. A word of advice to drivers: in foreign countries, the inner lane is the overtaking lane; don't occupy it for extended periods. It's not that others are closer; you should have yielded much earlier. Rearview mirrors are essential; check behind you frequently. For right-hand drive vehicles, pay attention to roundabout maneuvers and make wide right turns. Actually, driving abroad is quite easy.

The car was very fuel-efficient; the round trip of 330 kilometers cost 80 Malaysian Ringgit to fill up. It was a full tank when I borrowed it and a full tank when I returned it. The trunk was big enough to fit four 20-inch suitcases. They inspected the car very carefully when I borrowed it, taking videos of all scratches and noting them in the contract, but only checked the fuel tank when I returned it – very straightforward! A very pleasant car-borrowing experience. I added the owner on WeChat; they always reply to any questions.

It was a fantastic car rental experience. Communicating with the owner in Mandarin was very easy, and the staff were very professional and friendly during the pick-up process. They even provided a free tougo card. Returning the car was incredibly convenient; I simply parked it in their parking lot, left the keys at their counter, and completed the entire process contactlessly without any worries or hidden tricks. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again next time. For friends from China renting cars, Sepang Car Rental is the place to go!

The shop is located right at the airport, making car pick-up and drop-off convenient. The cars are in pretty good condition. The owner is Chinese, so communication is easy. They provide Touch 'n Go cards; if there's any remaining balance, you can buy a new card and return it to the rental company.

The car's condition was so-so, with just over 80,000 kilometers on the odometer. It didn't have a reversing camera, but it did have sensors, so it drove okay. The price was very reasonable, and most importantly, the owner was incredibly kind. I only decided on this place close to my departure date, having read many reviews with too many negative ones, and I was worried about potential disputes after returning the car. The day after I picked it up, I forgot to turn off the headlights, causing the battery to die. The owner quickly arranged for someone to come and resolve the issue. On the last day, I had a last-minute dinner appointment with a friend and thought I might return the car late. I told the owner, and he immediately said no problem and didn't charge any extra fees. I'm so grateful! 🙏 I added him on WeChat, and he always replies immediately to any questions I have. Thumbs up! 👍

Picking up and returning the car at the airport parking lot was very convenient. I was lucky this time, getting a nearly new car with only 20,000 kilometers on it, which made for a great driving experience. The only downside was the high fuel consumption, averaging about 12 liters per 100 kilometers. Luckily, postage in Malaysia is incredibly cheap.
