Great location, near to food places and the canal. The only time it was inconvenient is over the weekends when the close off the roads after 10.30pm till 7am the next morning so taxi or ubers can't drop you off at your hotel lobby, so something to be wary of when checking in or out with huge luggages over the weekend. Nothing to complain about the hotel itself however, will definitely be back!

The location of the hotel was good. It's walking distance from the central station and surrounded by many shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and the receptionist even walked me to the lift. However, the layout of the hotel was a little weird as the lift to my room was a small one in a corner next to the carpark entrance. Wasn't a good impression given the amount paid for the stay. The room was small but the decor was pleasing and very comfortable. The toilet was of a good size and the shower was relatively wide. Breakfast provided at the hotel was good.

Awesome, location is invincible, you have to buy something to walk within 5 minutes to buy. Very new hotel, the whole hotel is less than 20 rooms, people are not mixed, the lights can be magical. The 2018ams hotel is topped. I will come back next time.

I’ve never written a review before. But I think that this hotel was so delightful (and reasonably priced), maybe I should. Best thing about the place? The cheerful staff. Especially Precious, in the breakfast room, who anticipated our every need — with a smile. And Iago (spelling?), the bartender, was amazing. Loved it here.

Hotel location is very good! Almost all the attractions can be reached by walking. Passing a bridge is the famous red light district The hotel is very cautious from the welcome drink. My husband and I don’t drink alcoholic beverages. They give us non-alcoholic champagne. After the check-in, we also give the L’Occitane gift bag. The weather in Amsterdam makes us go out very bad. Convenient, the hotel will also provide a very creative disposable raincoat, the raincoat is placed inside a white ball, the ball can be hung on the carry-on bag, the girl with big eyes and short hair at the front desk is particularly warm and friendly, forgetting to ask her The name, the hotel's breakfast should be considered semi-self-service, offer some options, although we stayed for 10 days, will eat some meals, but still not tired, the dishes are very delicate and delicious, two Benedict eggs always eat Not enough, there is a smoking room on the first floor of the hotel. My husband will take a cigarette every morning to come over for breakfast. The tall, tall man with a big NICE will put his husband’s coffee in advance to the smoking room. He, and the drink I ordered, he remembered it the next day. After sitting at the table every morning, I don’t need to say that I will have a glass of orange juice and a cup of English. A meal of tea! The room design is also very user-friendly, the activity space is large, the fruit is rich and delicious, the chocolate is special, all the soft drinks in the refrigerator are provided free of charge, the capsule coffee machine has three flavors per day, the bathroom can be separated from wet and dry, and the room is dehumidified. Given the reviews, I was not keen to stay here, but thanks to Ajax v Napoli there were no others available. To sum up, this isn't a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. It is a 3 star hotel. Positives: - Location is superb - Architecturally stunning building - Large room (in my case, at least) - WiFi speeds are good. I was able to do video meetings from my room - Staff were pleasant and friendly Negatives: - Inside, the hotel is dark and in a state of disrepair - The kitchen closes early, and room service appears to not be possible. I was told that I should download Uber Eats if I wanted food after 10pm. - The room is tidy, but basic areas like around the sinks, bath, windows and TV were dirty - There is a smell of sewage that comes from the shower drain - The majority of channels on the TV are unavailable - There is no air conditioning. I had 2 tower fans in my room, and I had to use them both just to stay cool - No help with luggage, not that I couldn't manage myself - You get a bottle of water on the table when you check in. I had some the first night because it was so hot in the room. The second night when I was working late, I turned to open my fresh bottle. Nope! Same half empty bottle, had just been moved back to the table again. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel! Stay somewhere else. A few weeks earlier, I stayed in the Sofitel Legend. THAT is a 5 star hotel.

Excellent location, could walk to every “tourist” place. . Plenty of restaurants and bars right outside the doors! The breakfast at the hotel was great with lots of options and the staff very accommodating! Pastry chef is outstanding..deserves a raise!! Croissants the lightest fluffiest ever! Everything tastes as good as it looks! Front desk staff very nice, Sarah went out of her way to “fix” a minor problem and continued ask if everything was ok each time she saw us. Rooms clean and roomy, beds comfortable would stay again if ever in Amsterdam and recommend this hotel to anyone who asks! Transportation from airport is a little pricey (taxi for 4 ..70-100 euros depending on traffic ) but once you are there no need to use again.

The hotel is quite close to the central train station. It is also close to the Chinatown, the Rembrandt museum, the restaurants, and other touristy places. The staffs are friendly and helpful. There is a small restaurant on the first floor. There are also a small shelves with snacks and drinks behind the receptionist, so it’s quite convient to get some midnight snacks. The room has a nice size and it is very clean. The decoration is quite playful and modern similar to other Ibis hotel. The price is good for the location and the size of the room. However, the room is not very sound proof. It’s easy to hear the sound coming from other rooms and form the corridor. At this time, Holland does not require the mask anymore inside the hotel so it’s nice to feel back to how it was before the pandemic.

We were guests at the Ho(s)tel during our recent stay and we couldn't be satisfied with our experience. We booked a room for 8 in which we stayed for three nights in 7 and the space was more than enough for us and we could enjoy a light and comfortable room. The cleaning was unpassable, with clean bedrooms, towels and a clean and clean general environment. In addition to the room, we appreciated the services offered by the hotel, including the friendly and available staff that helped us during our stay. The central location has allowed us to explore the city comfortable, with all the main attractions and short-distance restaurants walking. All perfect! Maximum rating more than deserved!

Partiamo con i lati positivi: - posizione centrale, prezzo basso, cancellazione gratuita e non hanno preso caparra prima dell’arrivo. Ora cominciamo con quelli negativi: - lenzuola sporche (allego foto) - scale ripidissime (come tutte le strutte ad ams), ma con una valigia pesante diventa un problema - moquette in camera, non molto igienica - cambio degli asciugamani quasi ok (ne hanno lasciato solo uno pulito invece che due) - la colazione inizia alle 8:30, quindi se avete delle attività da fare presto non riuscirete ad usufruirne, ed inoltre non è abbondante e non adatta ai vegani - lo specchio in camera sopra il lavandino veramente troppo alto,dovevo mettermi in punta di piedi - il letto può andare bene per pochi giorni, ma si sprofonda - le camere NON sono insonorizzate (magari vi beccate qualcuno che si diverte come successo a noi) - non si può fumare in camera, ma ci sono le finestre che si aprono e comunque al bar fumano quindi sale tutta la puzza Per quanto riguarda il bagno in comune non abbiamo avuto problemi, profumava sempre di pulito e si chiudeva normalmente, non abbiamo mai trovato nessuno. Inoltre la “reception” è un bar/pub che però chiude comunque presto quindi non troverete molto ******.

When on a Business trip to Amsterdam I stayed just one night at ”Rosalia's Menagerie Inn Upstairs” and I loved it... It has just 6 individually styled boutique rooms and mine (a King bed double) was comfortable and provided everything I needed for my stay. The owner Rachel Bonnewell was lovely and treated me with warmth and kindness from check-in to check-out, she was the perfect host. I loved the unique and quirky decor and the personally prepared breakfast was delicious and a great start to my day walking Amsterdam. The hotel location was perfect also in Central Amsterdam, I literally walked everywhere during my 2 days in the City. My room was €150 per night with breakfast. The Inn is, as in the name, 'upstairs' and the stairs are typical of old Dutch houses in as much as climbing them is not for anyone who has ill health or any mobility issues... Note, there is no lift and the stairs are narrow, steep and twisty. I will certainly stay again and hope to do so in the Summer of 2024.
