Hotels Near OT301 in Amsterdam

This hotel was truly lovely. It was my second visit to Amsterdam and my 3 friends and I stayed here for 3 nights. The city centre was walkable (about 15-20 minutes) or you could get the tram which was just at the end of the street. Tram tickets can be super cheap if you buy a 24/48/72 hour travel card so hopping on and off became very easy and natural. There are cafes within 5 minutes walk and the hotel also had a cosy cafe on its ground floor. There is also a bike shop close by which was lovely to hire bikes and cycle around Vondelpark (10 minute cycle). The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was clean and we had a very comfortable stay. For 4 of us, the value for money was excellent. I love Amsterdam as a city and would happily return for a 3rd time and stay here. I couldn’t find any fault in this hotel. Thank you for a brilliant stay!

The biggest advantage: the room size is okay, clean and tidy. The mattress is very comfortable and the quilt is warm. The room is in tower A, which is very quiet, but it has to go through two elevators and a corridor, and there is no view outside the window. Still nice to stay overnight. The location of the hotel is acceptable, although it is not in the canal area. It takes more than half an hour to walk to the canal scenic area. It took two hours to walk to the Central Station and the scenery was great. Breakfast is average, so-so. What is not very satisfactory is that there are no slippers. Even when I checked in, I was told that there was no power converter. European hotels don’t have bottled water or toiletries. But it's still inconvenient because we don't even have slippers. We have to go barefoot the entire room. The front desk man on the second day was a man, and he borrowed it again and directly gave him a power converter, otherwise it would be really inconvenient. The nearest convenience store is less than ten minutes' walk away, so you need to check a map. The clerk's service is quite patient. The biggest drawback is the shower, the water flow is too small, and there is no door in the shower, so the water gets into the bathroom. Overall not bad.

Everyone knows that Amsterdam now pays 7% of the tourist tax for 3 people per night plus 3 euros, but we booked a total of about 270 euros for 4 nights, but I calculate that our tourist tax should be 19- Between 20 + 4 * 3 * 3 = 24 It should be about 44 Euros, but the counter insisted that we need to pay 54 Euros. We struggled with him for a while. He was very unhappy and told us that if he did n’t pay, he would return our room. The location here is pretty good. Good rides are quite convenient, there are many foods to eat and supermarkets next to it, or we may look Chinese.

After reading the reviews about Hotel Wilhelmina on TripAdvisor and Google, I must admit my partner and I were very skeptical about our stay there. However, we were extremely impressed with the hotel and would stay there again! We walked from Centraal station which is about an hour (but I would thoroughly recommend the walk as you pass significant landmarks such as Vondelpark and the Museum area - both of which are gorgeous places to visit) alternatively, you can get a tram straight from Centraal station that drops you almost on the doorstep of the hotel. The hotel is in an absolutely beautiful residential area. The room was completely satisfactory, it was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, it has a lot of wear and tear but nothing that will put you off staying there. As stated in other reviews, the stairs are very steep, but please be aware this is the case for almost all of the buildings in Amsterdam due to how they are built, therefore cannot be avoided. There is a small Albert Heijn supermarket about a 5 minute walk up the road, Vondelpark is about 8 minutes walk, the Rijksmuseum is about 20-25 minute walk and central Amsterdam is a maximum 35 minute walk. Minor complaints are as follows; Construction work starting very early in the morning (about 7am), Better selection of tea and coffee needed. There are sachets of tea and coffee provided but we struggled as there was no milk, just creamer for the coffee, Fridge would be useful in rooms, bin room needed

We had a really lovely experience at de bedstee which exceeded our expectations. The capsule was much more spacious than we expected (I’m around 5 ft 5 and could kneel) and the air conditioning kept it nice and cool. The double bed was very comfortable with multiple plug sockets and adjustable LED lights and there was enough space on a shelving unit to keep your bags and shoes in - the capsule is obviously lockable so keeps your belongings safe. The wifi was excellent. Also came with dressing gowns and towels for the communal bathrooms. The bathroom was very clean and well equipped with soap, shower gel shampoo and hairdryers. We had a stressful journey with our flight being cancelled and then rebooked with multiple delays, and the staff were very accommodating to this and let us check in very late at night with no additional cost. The only thing is that we were on the top ‘bunk’ which made it a little tricky to climb up the ladder into the capsule but this was not a deal breaker. Location was good, 20-30 min walk into the centre of amsterdam. Would definitely stay here again!!

I love everything about this hotel. It's affordable and has every basic amenitie you need when you travel overseas. The only down part is you have to pay to get an adaptor. So pls remember to bring your international travel adaptor if you don’t want to end up paying €15 . If you love walking and travel like local . This hotel has a good location . It’s about 30min walks to Van Gogh museum . I will definitely staying at this hotel again when I visit the Amsterdam

Excellent experience, very good welcome, very friendly staff, the room was very nice and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and in the bathroom there was everything you could need, I recommend it 100%

Our bed were changed from King size to 2 single beds. The single beds is terrible, but bed frame like not fit, when u make a body turn, the bed will move also. And my partner feel the bed is not clean enough. The room is big but feel very empty. TV is not working the first few days, after we make ask then they change new remote, then everything is fine. Love the body shampoo smell. Location is close to Sloterdik station. very convenient to take train,tram,bus,metro. It is not as busy as Centraal, but not many options of food surrounding. Spar is the convenient shop we must pass by everynight we come back to hotel. U can get food and drinks there. We get salad & fruits before heading to hotel everynight.

Definitely one of the coolest hostel I’ve been. Super cool stuff,easy and fast check in and out , great facilities,bar ,coffee shop , hall area super chill atmosphere. I am very satisfied with my stay in this hostel and with reception staff. Location is perfect too . I had lovely stay and will definitely come again and recommend it to everyone. Only one thing is not good ,check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am 😭 that’s kinda annoying 🤷♀️ but all other things are just great 🤩🤍

I chose this hôtel as I was travelling from the UK to see Dépêche Mode at the Ziggo Dome. And stayed two nights. Jaz in the City is just steps away from the Ziggo entrance so you can’t get any closer! It’s also great as a base for Amsterdam sightseeing. From the airport there’s a direct train (hotel is a 10-15 min walk from Bijlmer ArenA station). You can also hop on the metro here for a 20 min ride to Centraal. As Amsterdams public transport is so good (compared to Bristol in the UK where I live) you can confidently rely on it to get you wherever you need to be efficiently! Staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful. From front desk, bar, restaurant and housekeeping. Everyone (thankfully) spoke English which is ideal for me as I can just about say hello and thank you in Dutch! Special shout out to Mr Omelette Maker at breakfast. The perfect start to a day of sightseeing!! I’m sure they’re are cheaper options but I’m of an age where I understand that you get what you pay for. This hotel in my opinion is great. It looks good, is super clean and well maintained and importantly ＜feels＞ good.
