The 25-30 square meter room was very comfortable. We're a family of three visiting Changsha and stayed for four days and three nights. The owner's service was very thoughtful, with free laundry and drying facilities all provided. Across the street is the Xiang River, perfect for enjoying the night view, and in the morning, you can even rent a bike for a fantastic ride along the river. Room 8207, highly recommended! 👍

The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with both check-in and check-out, and patiently answered all my questions. The location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping, with plenty of great food options nearby. The hotel facilities are well-equipped, and they pay attention to the little details. After a tiring journey, staying here was really restorative. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Changsha's city center, a creative cultural hotel! You literally step out and you're right at Taiping Old Street and IFS. What amazing value for money! 📸 As soon as I walked out, I headed straight to Taiping Old Street and IFS financial center, just a few minutes' walk away. I could browse, eat at Changsha's famous 'Cha Yan Yue Se' tea shop, and check out Wenheyou without feeling rushed at all. I could pop back to the hotel anytime to drop things off – it was so convenient and freeing! 🌃 The hotel's decor really impressed me. It has an Instagram-worthy minimalist design, and the warm lighting in the room created such a cozy atmosphere. The bedding was super soft and fluffy, allowing me to fall asleep instantly, no matter how tired I was from my travels. 🛌 The bathroom was a dry-wet separation, which is a huge win for anyone who appreciates attention to detail! The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and even kindly recommended some niche local spots and Hunan restaurants, and helped me with calling taxis. After 3 years, I'm back in Changsha and chose the same hotel. Not just for the Xiangjiang River view balcony king room, but because the memories from three years ago are still so vivid. This time I didn't book an executive room, looks like my spending power has gone down, haha, but the staff we encountered still made us feel the InterContinental charm. Ola checked us in at the front desk, accurately and quickly. I wasn't sure about extending my stay, so Ola added me on WeChat, saying I could contact her anytime with questions. The next day, when I decided to extend, she was off but still replied promptly to my WeChat. She enthusiastically told me about the hotel's surroundings and room facilities, and then, within reason, helped me get a late checkout and even reserved mooncakes for me according to hotel policy 🥮. I want to thank Ola for her professionalism and dedication. See you next time, Changsha! I'm no foodie, but the hotel's breakfast rice noodles and bread were absolutely delicious! [Smart]

I chose this hotel randomly for my trip and was so pleasantly surprised! The location is really convenient, with plenty of places to eat, drink, and have fun nearby, and it's also great value for money. The biggest surprise was the incredibly spacious room – it felt so open and comfortable, not cramped at all. The front desk lady was incredibly kind and warm, even giving us a complimentary room upgrade, which was such a thoughtful and wonderful touch. It was a very comfortable stay, and definitely worth coming back to!

The hotel is super easy to find. Just take Metro Line 2 to Wuyi Square, exit 7, and it's a one-minute walk. Downstairs, there's a ton of great food, and Hunan TV's Golden Eagle Eye is right across the street. The front desk staff were really enthusiastic and helpful, and the room environment was fantastic. It was so relaxing to just lie in bed and screen mirror movies – pure bliss!

Check-in: We arrived quite early (a little after 7 AM) and were able to check in immediately. We even got a two-level room upgrade, ending up in a ground-floor room with a bathtub. The room was spacious, and the bathroom and toilet area were huge. The bathtub was big enough for one person and came with bath salts, a loofah, and a phone holder. The bed was very soft and comfortable. There was a reclining chair in the room with a bedside lamp next to it, perfect for lying down and looking at my phone at night with just the lamp on, then turning it off and going to bed when I got sleepy. Afternoon tea was provided, and the fruit and braised peanuts were delicious. The fruit selection at breakfast was excellent, with sweet red pitaya, watermelon, and even sweet prunes (rare to see prunes offered!). Breakfast offered four set menus; we tried two, and the steak option was particularly good. Unfortunately, we had to leave in a hurry and missed out on the travel photography and luggage delivery service to the high-speed rail station. Transportation: The hotel has a shuttle bus that can take you to the community entrance (the hotel is located within the community). I added their customer service on WeChat beforehand, and they sent me a very useful image showing how to get a taxi to the hotel entrance. The hotel's location is good, close to the attractions we wanted to visit. However, it's a bit far from the subway. When taking a taxi, you might encounter drivers not coming, but if you're patient, someone will eventually pick you up. Facilities: Although laundry service was available, I needed my clothes washed and dried quickly. So, I took them to be washed myself and had the hotel help with drying and returning them to the room, which I appreciated. The soundproofing, as others have mentioned, isn't perfect near the door, where you can hear outside noise. However, I didn't hear anything from the rooms next door, so it wasn't an issue for me.
