Highly recommended! The room was spacious and clean, the shower was very comfortable, and the vanity mirror at the sink was a convenient touch. The front desk service was excellent; they even called to ask about forgotten items, which was very thoughtful. It's really good. I was a bit worried that the 2018 renovation might make it seem old, but when I got there, I found it to be very clean and the room was super big.

Service: The service attitude is excellent, they're always responsive to requests. Messages to their WeChat customer service were answered instantly, especially by Wendy and Clara. All staff members were very polite. There were two thoughtful details: a handwritten welcome card from the housekeeping staff, and on the second day, they replenished more drinking water after noticing our high consumption. Also, staff and concierges would avoid sharing an elevator with guests. Ambiance: The lobbies on the first and sixth floors have a nightclub-esque style, with space and astronaut elements everywhere. The outdoor balcony on the sixth floor in the evening was very comfortable; enjoying the sunset with a gentle breeze and a 'Cha Yan Yue Se' drink was incredibly pleasant. Transportation: Although the location isn't ideal for popular attractions (takes a bit longer to get there), transportation is convenient. There's a metro Line 2 station downstairs on Changsha Avenue, and taxis are readily available. It's only two metro stops from Changsha South Station. Facilities: Compared to similarly-rated hotels in Guangdong, the room size is a bit smaller, but the layout is well-designed. Upon entering, there's a wardrobe acting as a buffer, so you don't see the bed directly. The corner by the entrance is perfect for luggage, and the toilet and shower are separated on opposite sides. The soft amenities are also great: Dyson hairdryer, Nespresso coffee machine, and a wide variety of drinks in the fridge, including beer, carbonated drinks, and local Changsha specialties. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was excellent, and there were no odors in the restroom. Breakfast Service Extended until 2 PM: This is a rare service for many hotels. No need to rush to eat breakfast early, definitely a thumbs-up! Plus, they switch to lunch at 12 PM, so even late risers don't have to worry about going to the restaurant at 11 or 12 and finding nothing to eat. Bar: There are different live singers every night, creating a nice atmosphere. Bartender Zhang Yang provided attentive service; I felt my 'Changsha County Chronicles' cocktail was too sweet, so he remixed a new one according to my taste.

The room was spotlessly clean, free from any unpleasant odors, and the soft bedding ensured a very peaceful night's sleep. The staff member, Claire, was very friendly, and both check-in and check-out were handled efficiently. Any issues were addressed promptly. The overall environment was quiet, and the facilities were well-maintained. It's suitable for both leisure and business travelers!

A friend recommended this place, so I specifically chose it, and the location is indeed convenient. The Yaoling Xiangya Second Hospital Station on Metro Line 6 is right outside. The room was spacious and bright, the desk was large enough, and the internet speed was stable. The facilities were quite complete, and the front desk was efficient; check-out and getting the invoice were very quick. They even proactively asked if I needed water for the road. Dining nearby is also convenient, with a convenience store and a few small eateries downstairs. Overall, it was a hassle-free stay. I'll book this place again next time I'm in Changsha.

The lobby and baggage staff were very proactive and enthusiastic in helping us. Despite a corporate event happening during our check-in, it didn't feel chaotic at all. The hotel was renovated a few months ago, and there was still a slight renovation smell in the room. When we called the front desk, they promptly brought an air purifier. The swimming pool was a bit small and we encountered a swimming class, so the experience was just okay, but the environment was quite nice. When booking, it was mentioned that there would be different children's activities daily, but in reality, there weren't any, just a Lego table behind the lobby screen. However, the kids still had a great time. The breakfast food selection was average, and the taste wasn't bad; the Hunan rice noodles, freshly blanched, were the highlight.

It's only a 3-minute walk if you're catching a train, making arrivals and departures super convenient. Secondly, the room is spacious and bright, and the bedding is comfortable and clean, ensuring a very pleasant stay. Thirdly, the breakfast buffet opens at 7 AM, but if you're in a hurry to catch a train, you can ask the front desk to pack it for you in advance, or you can even pack it yourself, which is a really nice touch! Next time I visit Changsha, I'll definitely stay at this hotel again.

Very satisfied with this stay! The rooms are clean and tidy, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the layout is reasonable. The public areas such as the hotel lobby and corridor are quiet and elegant, convenient for thinking. The gym has aerobic and strength equipment. After work, it is especially relaxing to go back to the room after exercise.

The room had a Chinese tea set, evoking a sense of wabi-sabi (a Japanese aesthetic emphasizing simplicity and transience). It was very relaxing. This hotel occupied several floors of a building that also housed other facilities (other hotels, companies, etc.). Therefore, delivery people and outsiders could freely enter the elevator. (And unfortunately, there were people smoking in the elevator, which was unpleasant.) The room was cleaned daily, and towels and amenities were replaced generously. However, there was a slight odor from the toilet or bathroom drain, which might lead some to give it a harsh review. The air conditioning worked well. The free laundry facilities were a great help for long stays. It was also nice that detergent, hangers, and an iron were available for free use. Breakfast consisted of a limited selection of local dishes, but everything was delicious. The fried rice, in particular, was exceptional. There were also local specialty dishes, and they were happy to provide hot noodles upon request, making it a relaxed buffet. If I had one suggestion, it would be nice to have hot coffee brewed in the lobby or dining area, even if it was just from a regular coffee maker. I stayed for six nights and was generally satisfied. I could feel the warmth of the people working there.

We had a very pleasant experience staying at Howard Johnson Club even though it was only for a night. My friends and I wished that we had more days to stay, as we were flying off the next day. We were greeted by two smiling and courteous staff at the gate of the train station and they loaded our luggage and pushed the trolley for about 60 metres to the hotel. There, the receptionist were very friendly and processed our check in with efficiency and we were in our rooms in a jiffy. The rooms are clean and quiet with comfortable beds and nice toilets. To our delight, we were granted breakfast for free. Additionally, due to our midnight flight, our request to extend the check out time was graciously granted. A beautiful experience indeed.
