❌ The bed has a faint cigarette smell even though I requested anti-smoke treatment and communicated that I'm particularly sensitive to smoke. Could be due to third-hand smoke which is understandably difficult to get rid off, BUT could still be prevented by making some rooms or one floor strictly smoke free. ❌ The provided two fluffy slippers are actually quite slippery in the elevated area. These aren't waterproof, and because the highlight of this hotel is the bathtub, I personally think It'd make sense to also provide two extra bath slippers that can be used in the shower as well as after bathing. 🟠 The bathrobes are fluffy and thick and would perhaps be more suitable for winter? Considering the baththub and current summer temperaturet, it might be convenient to switch to thinner, towel-like bath robes so that you can throw it on immediately after bathing. ✅ Clean bathtub and mirrors ✅ The whole experience with the tub was amazing. Controlling the water temperature was easy and I experienced no shortage of warm water, it flows out immediately. Bath salt was provided as well ✅ Actual usable television that provides entertainment: Can watch a lot of different content because there is VIP membership installed and you can broadcast all kinds of music. ✅ Pillows don't deflate: they provide actual support to your head. ✅ Can watch TV from the bathtub due to the mirrors ✅ Room looks exactly like the pictures and has the described amenities ✅ Walkable distance to metro ✅ Hair dryer actually has strong windflow and a sufficient hot setting. Traveling with my family to Chengdu, I'm so glad we chose this hotel. The service was warm and attentive, and our stay was fantastic. We were really happy with the overall environment, especially the large bathtub which the kids absolutely loved. Breakfast offered a great variety and was delicious. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, and the location was super convenient with bus and metro stations nearby. Plus, there are tons of great food options in the area!

We stayed at this hotel for three nights during our trip to Chengdu. We booked an executive suite with two large beds, which was very spacious for two adults and two children. Our room happened to be a corner unit, not facing the street, so it was very quiet at night. The breakfast was light and delicious, and both the kids and adults enjoyed it thoroughly. The location here is truly fantastic! It's within walking distance of Wenshu Monastery and Wenshu Fang, with plenty of great food, fun places, and restaurants nearby. You can really get a feel for local life here – it's a rare gem of a family hotel. You can even have food deliveries and daily necessities sent directly to your room by a robot. The laundry room and gym are both 24-hour self-service, which is incredibly convenient.

This place offers a fantastic experience! The interior is beautifully decorated with a great ambiance, and there are adorable, cuddly cats that are incredibly therapeutic. The surrounding environment is excellent, quiet, and very comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was neat and tidy, making for a truly peaceful stay. The hostess is warm and friendly, providing thoughtful and attentive service throughout, making the entire experience very pleasant. I highly recommend staying here.

Discovering this Zen-inspired hotel nestled in the vibrant heart of Wenshu Monastery area was truly the most delightful surprise of my Chengdu trip! Stepping into the courtyard, I was immediately soothed by the grey tiles, white walls, dry landscape garden, and rustic wooden decor. The 'Buddhist Affinity' screen in the lobby and the Four-Faced Buddha statues exuded a tranquil Zen charm, and even the staff's 'Namaste' greetings were incredibly gentle. The room featured a Chinese Zen design with solid wood furniture and a tea set by the window. The bedding was so soft that I slept soundly all night, and from the balcony, I could catch glimpses of the traditional Western Sichuan folk houses in the alleyways. The location is absolutely perfect; it's a 5-minute walk to Wenshu Monastery subway station, surrounded by hot pot restaurants and snack stalls, and just a 10-minute taxi ride to Chunxi Road. Although the breakfast was simple, it was exquisite, offering vegetarian dishes alongside Western pastries, and even the freshly ground coffee was rich and fragrant. The staff also proactively recommended authentic local eateries and hidden gems. To find such a tranquil and conveniently located retreat in the midst of the bustling city, offering both serene Zen ambiance and easy access to urban life, is incredible value for money. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Chengdu!

Overall, it was a good stay and I'm very satisfied. The hotel staff were friendly and check-in was quick. Being on a high floor, I could enjoy the night view. The room was quite clean and transportation was convenient. The high floor was also very quiet. The price was reasonable, and the front desk service was warm and thoughtful; they even asked if I wanted water for the road because of the hot weather. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

When we entered we received a warm welcome. Although it says that they only speak Mandarin, they could speak basic English and used translating apps to communicate more detailed information. We got a free upgrade of our room because they thought the one we booked was too small for two people. We received clean towels and free water bottles everyday. The room was nice and had a great interface for regulating the AC and lights. The breakfast was really nice and, although it's a primarily set menu, it's so much food that you will be sure to have a good, healthy start to your day. The location is great; it's not in a super busy or touristy area, but on both corners of the street are stops for different metro's, so getting around the city becomes very easy. There's also a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Overall a great experience!! Staff: 10/10 Room cleanliness: 10/10 Breakfast: 9/10 (only 1 option for vegetarians for the ”main” dish) Location: 8/10 (no tourist places in walkable distance, but several public transport stops)

The room was very clean, tidy, and quiet. Even with the AC on, there was no strange smell, which was great. The front desk staff was also very nice, haha. I really liked the feeling of the greenery outside the window (even if it wasn't real plants 🪴). There are also a lot of fruit stalls nearby, and a noodle shop right outside, which is really convenient.

The state was incredible and it was a wonderfully beautiful and relaxing space! It felt so much a part of the neighborhood as well. The service was incredible from the cleaning staff who were kind and attentive as well as available and our receptionist, Cong Li, who was immediately responsive to questions, gave us a quick easy check in and check out, as well as handled our bags with much care. The stay was incredibly relaxing and we would definitely come back here again for the experience. Grateful for such an unforgettable experience and the service, space and neighborhood that made it all easier to just experience a comfortable and easy holiday.

The rooms at this hotel are absolutely gorgeous and perfect for photos! My friends and I stayed in a few different room types, but our favorite was definitely the treehouse room with the hot tub. We took so many pictures, and my WeChat Moments blew up with compliments, haha! We'll definitely be back next time.
