Hotels in Wenshu Monastery/Longhu Shangcheng Sky Street, Chengdu

Facilities: The room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. The bedding was excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. Although the bathroom was a bit small, it was exceptionally clean with good water pressure and hot water. The toiletries were also of high quality, uniquely designed, and the soap smelled lovely. Very satisfied! Service: Everyone was very enthusiastic. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: The surrounding area has a large local market, which offers a great sense of local life. The only downside is if you take the wrong turn, you'll have to walk through an outdoor tea stall area, which can be quite intimidating for introverts – an 'i-person's hell'.

❌ The bed has a faint cigarette smell even though I requested anti-smoke treatment and communicated that I'm particularly sensitive to smoke. Could be due to third-hand smoke which is understandably difficult to get rid off, BUT could still be prevented by making some rooms or one floor strictly smoke free. ❌ The provided two fluffy slippers are actually quite slippery in the elevated area. These aren't waterproof, and because the highlight of this hotel is the bathtub, I personally think It'd make sense to also provide two extra bath slippers that can be used in the shower as well as after bathing. 🟠 The bathrobes are fluffy and thick and would perhaps be more suitable for winter? Considering the baththub and current summer temperaturet, it might be convenient to switch to thinner, towel-like bath robes so that you can throw it on immediately after bathing. ✅ Clean bathtub and mirrors ✅ The whole experience with the tub was amazing. Controlling the water temperature was easy and I experienced no shortage of warm water, it flows out immediately. Bath salt was provided as well ✅ Actual usable television that provides entertainment: Can watch a lot of different content because there is VIP membership installed and you can broadcast all kinds of music. ✅ Pillows don't deflate: they provide actual support to your head. ✅ Can watch TV from the bathtub due to the mirrors ✅ Room looks exactly like the pictures and has the described amenities ✅ Walkable distance to metro ✅ Hair dryer actually has strong windflow and a sufficient hot setting. Girls with long hair rest assured. ✅ Good airco system & bidet toilet ✅ Blackout curtain drop ✅ Convenient communication via Wechat ✅ Rain shower & head shower. We got two bedrooms instead of an executive one-bedroom, which is much more convenient with the dining table. The air conditioning is strong; even in Chengdu's 40-degree heat, it's more than enough! The view is great, and the panoramic vistas are very comfortable. Highly recommended.

I've stayed at the Ruicheng Celebrity Hotel many times, and my overall experience has always been exceptionally satisfying. The hotel is located in the heart of Luomashi, just a few minutes' walk from Wenshuyuan subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get to popular attractions like Tianfu Square, Chunxi Road, and Kuanzhai Alley. It saves a lot of time and hassle when getting around. The rooms are spotless and tidy, with attention paid to every detail, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff are efficient and quick with check-ins, offering thoughtful and attentive service, and they even provided helpful tips for exploring the local area. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, including local Sichuan snacks, as well as Chinese and Western dishes. Additionally, there's a free laundry room and parking. This hotel truly offers 4-star quality at an excellent value for money. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Chengdu.

Really nice place to stay for couples. Room was cute and cozy, and had great view. You are minutes away from Wenshu Monastery and other landmarks are all in walking distance. Breakfast was also good. They were really helpful with the luggage the day of the checkout, when we went to visit the panda breeding center. The lady at the reception was really nice.

We loved our stay here. The whole hotel and rooms are so tastefully decorated. From the mini courtyard with the little fountain, and the music room next door, ad the minimalist oriental style room with tatami/bamboo and tea table. We also loved that the room key was a Buddhist bracelet, that was a nice touch. The service was amazing throughout, from keeping in touch on WeChat, recommending nearby restaurants, and the tea and snacks on arrival were super yummy. 24/7 front desk service too! It was a shame we didn’t get to make use of the complimentary activities, we wanted to but didn’t have time. While the location is a little further away, we enjoyed all the eating places nearby, especially the 铺盖面 and 绵绵冰 and 食而百! This hotel truly felt like a zen retreat which captured the vibe of Chengdu as we experienced it on this trip.

A truly satisfying stay! The location is excellent, right in Wenshu Monastery. The environment is lovely, and while the breakfast selection isn't huge, it covers all the basics. Both the hotel rooms and public areas are well-maintained and beautifully furnished, perfectly matching the ancient Chinese style of Wenshu Monastery. It's also very quiet and peaceful. The bathroom was odor-free, there's a full-length mirror, and each room has its own independent Wi-Fi.

I stumbled upon this newly opened hotel while traveling in Chengdu, and it was great value for money, exceeding my expectations! The location is very convenient; it's easy to get a taxi or take the subway. There are free drinks in the fridge, and a popular restaurant is right downstairs. There are also many delicious restaurants nearby, making it easy to order takeout or find food – a foodie paradise! The overall decor is minimalist and refreshing, and the room was spotless. The front desk not only offers coffee, but the staff are also incredibly attentive, proactively offering bottled water while I waited for my ride. I also loved the toiletries in the bathroom; the hotel pays great attention to detail. It was a comfortable and reassuring stay. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Chengdu!

The 75-inch giant screen projection makes watching shows super enjoyable when you're back at the hotel in the evening. The mattress is soft and supportive for your back, and the bathroom features a wet/dry separation and a smart heated toilet, providing maximum comfort. Every corner was spotless, with absolutely no strange odors.

Five out of five stars, I highly recommend the Tibet Hotel Chengdu! This stay was the most delightful surprise of my trip to Chengdu. The hotel itself is rich in ******* culture, with Tibetan-style decor everywhere you look, and the soothing ******* incense brought a sense of peace. What truly impressed me was the genuinely attentive and thoughtful service from every staff member; it felt far from a formulaic courtesy. Before checking out, the hotel thoughtfully arranged a complimentary ******* clothing photo experience. No extra cost, just an immersive way to experience the charm of the snowy plateau and capture some truly precious travel photos. Even more heartwarming, a staff member outside the restaurant proactively gave me a delicate ******* small pendant, beautifully crafted and carrying wonderful blessings. I also received a small gift prepared by the hotel. These small acts of kindness eased the fatigue of my journey. I felt a strong sense of human warmth here; it wasn't just accommodation, but a healing cultural experience. Tashi Delek! Next time I'm in Chengdu, I'll definitely choose the Tibet Hotel again. I sincerely recommend it to all my friends visiting Chengdu.
