Hotels in Jinniu Wanda Plaza/ChengDu Zoo, Chengdu

We decided to extend our stay for another night at the last minute, and the front desk kindly allowed us to keep our original king-size room (2-meter bed), which felt like a complimentary upgrade. The service was exceptional. The room was very clean and well-appointed, and the hotel breakfast was also quite good. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants right downstairs. A zoo and the Panda Base are also nearby, just a 15-minute drive away.

This store is very good, it is very convenient to catch a car from Wuliangye Cultural and Sports Center! This time I came to see the four-character brother Xiaoqianqian's super show, super happy, the big sister at the front desk of the hotel is also carrying luggage and taking care of all kinds of good care, providing a lot of warm heart service, really thank you, I also met the members of the Qianzhihe family in the store, today I have a happy memory and remember one more ～～

We visited with our child to see the pandas, and the hotel's location is really convenient, quite close to the Panda Base. The hotel's design is very cute, and the front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They even prepared panda headbands for our little one. Our child absolutely loved playing in the ball pit in the room, and kids' toiletries and slippers were also provided. However, the bathroom sink was quite high. We suggest adding a footstool in the room to make it easier for children to wash up. Also, there wasn't a convenient place to hang clothes in the bathroom. If these two things could be improved, it would be perfect!

🌟 Loved my stay — perfect for visiting the Panda Research Base! Finding the hotel at first was a bit tricky. Even my taxi driver (using Didi) wasn’t sure about the exact address, and it seems the hotel doesn’t yet appear clearly in some map applications. He kindly called the reception to confirm the location, which helped a lot — so I’d say there’s definitely room for improvement in how the hotel is listed online. That said, once I arrived, I had a great experience. The entrance was under construction when I visited, but the lobby on the second floor was clean, welcoming, and well-organized. 🛏️ The room itself was fantastic. Spacious, spotless, super comfortable — I slept really well, it was very quiet, and the bed was just perfect. The Panda-themed decor was adorable — especially the plush panda teddy bear in the room (I honestly wanted to take it home!). 🐼 🚿 The shower worked flawlessly, and the bathroom was equipped with a high-tech Japanese-style toilet, which was a great bonus. 🌆 The location is excellent if you’re visiting the Pandas — just a little over 1km from the south entrance of the Panda Research Base, easily walkable. There are plenty of restaurants, local street food, takeout spots, and supermarkets all around the hotel, making it super convenient. Overall, a relaxing and very enjoyable stay. I would definitely return if I come back to Chengdu. Highly recommended, especially for panda lovers!

I had a great stay here. The building seemed calm and the location is very convenient with many restaurants, foot massage, supermarkets and a mall right next door. The subway station can be reached in a ten minutes walk. I’d recommend staying here when coming to Chengdu, especially when you are planning to visit the Pandas as the hotel is located already up north in town, so you can reach the area quickly.

The hotel is in a very good location, quite close to Wanda Plaza. The hotel lobby is on the first floor, equipped with a lounge sofa, the front desk service is very good, the room was relatively small when I arrived at the store, the front desk upgraded the comfortable big bed, the room was relatively quiet, the equipment was relatively complete, the opening price during the Spring Festival was relatively moderate, it was a very good choice, the room was clean and hygienic, the bedding was very comfortable, I came to Chengdu for a day of travel and returned to the hotel to rest very well, fully restored my vitality, the room was insufficient, many small details were lacking, the room had a little smell, it may be because of the new opening, overall the hotel is still very good, all aspects are good, this price chose this hotel is within expectations, next time I come to Chengdu I will choose this hotel, I hope there will be a different surprise next time.

Hotel wasn’t the most ideally located for those wishing to do things in the evening, it would have been a short taxi journey but this would be very low cost, however did have a small convenience store, McDonald’s and a few other food choices just outside the hotel.. The room was very spacious, modern and high tech. The staff were very helpful and booked a taxi for us. We stayed here to visit Chengdu Panda centre with was around 25 minutes in a taxi, but again very low cost.

The room is clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable, and the facilities are complete. The location is also very convenient. The price-performance ratio is very high. The aunt cleans and replaces the supplies every day. I feel safe living here.

The female front desk staff was incredibly snobby and mean-spirited. If you enjoy being discriminated against by service staff, then you're in luck here! It's ridiculously far from Chengdu city center; getting to any tourist attraction takes over 40 minutes by subway. The upside is that the subway entrance is right outside the door, but the downside is that taxi rides are very long. On my last night, I came back to find the shower gel completely used up. The cleaning staff had serviced the room twice, yet it apparently didn't occur to them to replenish it? Also, the 'smart' toilet was incredibly bizarre; the moment you sat down, it would start spraying water at your backside... That said, the interior environment is quite nice, and the view is decent. The overall decor is very new. If you can overlook the service issues, then this place might be for you. The design is very tasteful, the property is easy to find, and the transportation is extremely convenient – I'll give them credit for that.

I came to Chengdu after seeing this hotel online and seeing so many great reviews. I decided to check in with a sense of urgency. The lobby was incredibly clean and tidy upon entering. The front desk lady was incredibly helpful and even gave my child a panda-themed keychain, which delighted them. My excitement grew as I checked in. Entering the room, I was also impressed by the hospitality of the housekeeping staff. The comforters and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was immaculately clean. It was clear the staff were incredibly dedicated. This hotel truly felt like a warm and welcoming place, and I've already recommended it to my friends. A full five-star rating is a must!
