"We came to Kunshan for a wedding at the Golden Eagle and decided to stay a night at the hotel. Since we were with my parents and the baby, we chose a connecting family suite. This room type combines a suite and a king-size room, creating a two-bedroom, one-living room layout that's perfect for family members to look after each other. The space inside is very generous, and the views are lovely. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were incredibly attentive and accommodating; they went above and beyond. Because we had a baby, they even arranged a crib, kids' toiletries, and slippers (though our baby was too young to use them). Parking was also very convenient. I especially want to commend the hotel's dining options. We tried breakfast at the 29th-floor Western restaurant, as well as lunch and dinner at the 9th-floor Chinese restaurant and banquet hall, and everything was absolutely delicious."

"My partner and I drove an hour from Shanghai to Kunshan for a weekend stay at the Crowne Plaza Kunshan, a high-end, star-rated hotel that's been open for a year. It's located at 333 Qianjin East Road, and Xiajiahe Park Station on Metro Line 11 is just a 10-minute walk away. The hotel itself is upscale and well-equipped. The surrounding area offers parks perfect for a stroll and relaxation, plus nearby amenities like Seamall Plaza and RT-Mart supermarket. Our room was clean and comfortable. Parking was plentiful, with two levels in the underground garage and additional spaces available above ground. Most of the staff were energetic young people, and their service was excellent – very warm and attentive. On the evening of our check-in, we even saw two coach buses full of Jiangsu Super League fans dining in the hotel's Western restaurant, which made for a lively atmosphere. The Chinese restaurant on the 3rd floor was a bit pricey, as expected for a high-end hotel, but I really enjoyed the food. After we ordered, the staff kindly pointed out that we'd ordered too much for just two people and explained the portion sizes. I ended up cutting two dishes from our order, and what we received was just the right amount. The breakfast buffet was also very rich, with a good mix of Chinese and Western options, including the local specialty, Kunshan Azao noodles. A steaming bowl of those was both heartwarming and stomach-warming. Overall, I think this was a very good stay."
"Spacious room & comfortable bed with different type of pillows to suit you( soft & hard). Room cleanliness slightly lacking as there were stain marks on the wash basin tiles. Front desk service was speedy & staff are friendly. Location within walking distance to Kunshanan railway. Have to be sure your room not facing the railway station. The front desk was kind to allocate my request if the room not facing the railway station. Thank you.
Breakfast was good especially the wanton soup.
Overall the hotel is clean & comfortable hotel away from the city center but convenient to travel around Suzhou."
"What tops the list for me is the friendly staff. They go out of their way to help.I would like to specifically mention front desk manager Mr Bruce, who tried his best to get some vegetarian food at odd times. He even came with me to restaurant leaving his front deak to find an option. That's something beyond my expectation. Room is very clean.Restaurant is pretty good with several options for breakfast. In my room, AC effect was not good. They immediately try to rectify and also offered fan in the room. I am sure will stay in this hotel whenever I come to Kunshan."
"If you need to be in Kunshan, this is a decent place. I booked it because it was close to a place I was going for a meeting and in a lot of ways it's a pretty standard high end business hotel in a non first tier city. But there were some nice surprises like a bath tub the room and it had some of the fastest internet access I've had the pleasure of using in China (which was great for a multi-hour video conference I had that night with Europe). Bed was firm but not a board, good pillows. Decent selection for breakfast the next morning but the coffee was a bit weak so the Starbucks around back if the building or the Luckin a block away (if you're a Luck in fan) were good to know about. Not a lot of dining within walking distance but a couple kilometers up the road over near Duke Kunshan there were some interesting dining options including decent pizza and Southeast Asian food."
"Five star hotel in all the ways that count. Beautiful rooms, full ensuite with deep soak tub, quiet, clean and affordable priced for the quality of the property.
Breakfast buffet had a large selection of western options, as well as Asian dishes plus a full range of pastries, breads, soups, porridges, fresh fruits, yoghurts, cheese board with cold meats and the list goes on, and on, and on. Many staff on hand managing the different stations. Also huge window of availability 0630 to 1000.
Attached is a huge mall and half a block away is an Apple Store.
Can’t rave enough about our experience. A+"
"This stay far exceeded my expectations, absolutely worth recommending! The hotel's location is a huge plus, just a 5-minute walk to the subway station, with a variety of shopping centers and restaurants nearby. It's incredibly convenient whether you're here for a business trip or just exploring.
The room was clean and tidy, with no strange odors. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin; I could instantly relax the moment I lay down. Even the pillow height was just right, ensuring a particularly good night's sleep.
The facilities were very thoughtful. The smart lock was hassle-free to use, and the spacious, flat desk in the room, paired with high-speed internet, meant I could work without any lag – perfect for business travelers. The service was an even greater surprise: check-in at the front desk was efficient and quick, with no unnecessary upselling. When I had questions, the staff responded promptly, with warmth and patience.
The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the ingredients were fresh. The congee, pastries, and side dishes were all to my taste, providing a satisfying start to the day. The only minor regret was that the shower water pressure was occasionally a bit unstable, but it didn't affect the overall experience at all. Overall, the value for money is excellent, making it suitable for both business and leisure travel. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!"
"I highly commend the front desk staff for their prompt response and excellent service. The hotel is also in a great location, just a few hundred meters from MixC. The room was very clean, with soft bedding and a comfortable size. The internet in the gaming room was also quite fast."
"My recent stay at the Windsor Park Hotel Kunshan was exceptional. From the warm welcome to the impeccable facilities, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel at home during my short visit. The hotel's facilities were perfect, with spacious and well-appointed rooms. The dining experience was a highlight, with delicious food served in a five-star setting. The only minor suggestion would be to clean the windows from the outside, as they appeared a bit dirty. However, this did not detract from the overall excellent experience. I highly recommend the Windsor Park Hotel Kunshan for a comfortable and enjoyable stay."
"What an unique experience! Nothing could be more authentic than that! Our room is on the first floor right by the water. We saw many women rowing the gondola boats and serenading beautiful songs to their passengers. We came in a low season, so there wasn’t that much crowd. We could stroll around leisurely to take in all the beautiful sights that this place offers to us. The home stay is operated by a couples. They are so friendly, kind, and always eager to help out, especially the wife (Ms. Chan). The day when we left, she helped us getting a didi ride which is more cheaper than the one we hailed ourselves. The room we stayed in is very unique, it is not super big, but it is very clean and it has everything we needed for the night. All and all, I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family."

SSCTan (Malaysia)Our stay at Zhouzhuang Zen Yili was absolutely wonderful—a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and convenience!
Taxi can dropped us off within 1 minute walking distance away from Zen Yili. Zhouzhuang ancient village entrance is just a few minutes walk from Zen Yili making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and activities. The peaceful surroundings of the homestay also added to the relaxing vibe.
The hosts, both husband and wife were exceptionally kind and gave us great local tips. They provided us more than enough fresh fruits, tea, biscuits and mineral water. I was surprised also that the room was with full mosquitoes nettings with even anti mosquitoes device provided if needed. During our stay the homestay and its surroundings ware without mosquitoes.
The room was spotless, with fresh linens and a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was of five star standard for its fittings, and was very well-maintained.
Before we checked out, we were given delicious homemade biscuits out of their hospitality. They also arranged for us a reliable and comfortable pickup after checked out.
For the price, this homestay offered excellent value.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to couples, families, or solo travelers looking for a peaceful retreat in Zhouzhuang ancient village.

HHalf Gwailo ABCOverall an enjoyable and relaxing one night stay at this tiny cosy hotel in Zhouzhuang, for our final leg of our 6 days Suzhou trip. We took a didi over to Zhouzhuang, which was faster and cheaper than I expected, just a little over half an hour.
The hotel staff called me the day before to arrange for pick-up near the watertown ticket office. Actually I can't speak Mandarin and their English wasn't too good but we ended up chatting on Wechat as Wechat has a built-in translate function in their chat.
So, 15 minutes before we arrive, we just had to let them know on Wechat. And the staff is already waiting for us, helped us with the luggage and guided us through the ticket buying process.
You do have to pay for the ¥100 RMB ticket to get into the watertown and the ticket is good for 3 days. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance.
I picked this hotel because it was right inside the watertown and it had the ancient Chinese interior, although all the amenities are modern, including a robust and high-tech Kohler smart toilets in each bathroom.
There is a nice coffee shop inside the hotel and the coffee shop owner is friendly and takes his coffee craft seriously. The hotel gives you 2 free drinks during your stay and the coffee menu is quite extensive. If the hotel rooms are not booked on that day, we are told the hotel opens their doors to coffee customers.
The hotel owner is actually younger than I expected so I am impressed she meticulously created this authentic experience and the attention to detail. She was friendly and helpful and was open to accommodating our needs.
We booked the entire 2nd floor, which was 3 bedrooms and we had 6 adults in our group. This tiny hotel only has 3 bedrooms so if you booked all 3 rooms, you pretty much get the entire hotel to yourselves which include the first floor which is spacious and comfy.
When I visit Zhouzhuang again, I am looking forward to stay here again. It's certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - which is people passionate about hospitality (in a Chinese way) and also a hygiene and staying experience that is certainly up to international standards.

GGuest UserThe room is satisfactory, the location is very convenient, and it is close to everywhere. The service of the brother is very good. He helped to carry the luggage in and out of the scenic area. It was difficult to get a taxi during the May Day holiday, so he specially took us to a place where it is convenient to get a taxi, which helped us save the taxi fee. In short, the experience is very satisfactory! I will come again next time if I have the chance😊

Outstanding
GGuest UserOne of our favorite places. Really a great stay. The lady who runs the place is super nice. Room had cool exotic decorations and furniture. The balcony was nice although not much to see but done roof tops.
Location is great. You have to pay 100 rmb to enter the city before you walk a few blocks to hotel. Right next to double bridge which is famous because of an old painting but otherwise no big desk. Indeed there were other double bridges and more picturesque bridges.
Only drawback was no breakfast at all. So you need to wander around and find a restaurant. We madd the mistake of ordering coffee from a coffee shop. Despite 35rmb - more expensive than in US it was just an automatic machine - not barista made, and couldn’t even taste much coffee. This has nothing to do with the hotel but it was a ripoff.
Another good thing about the hotel was they have another business of historical clothes rental with makeup and photography. It turned out great.

CChoySamanthaThe hotel is located within Zhouzhuang Old Town, making it convenient to visit nearby museums. If you enter the old town after 5 PM, you can avoid the entrance fee. The hotel is also situated next to a temple, but unfortunately, the temple is currently under renovation and not open to tourists.
One issue to note is the presence of mosquitoes, so be sure to bring insect repellent.
Zhouzhuang offers a stunning night view — highly recommended! Don’t miss the boat ride; it costs 220 yuan per ride and can accommodate up to 6 people, including infants.

JJakobreuVery nice small hotel next to the canals of Zhouzhuang. Rooms are good and you feel like time travelling in old China with the traditional furniture and beds. Lovely owner who provided us with tips and lots of help when I lost my wallet in a Didi. You have to pay the entry fee to get to touristic area in which the hotel is located which was ¥150 p.p. during the day, it’s cheaper if you enter after 8pm so best to check with the host who is super lovely and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

GGuest UserLocation was perfect and also my initial consideration, right at the center of city. No much to expect except for those standard items example - service, cleanliness or comfortability therefore to my surprise, the rooms were cosy and clean (guessed it’s because they were newly renovated or not long ago) but, but except for some minor hiccups example - air conditioning controls (remote and wall mounted) + room WiFi needs pre-logging on before connectable (used my phone hotspot to fix problem)! Everything was fine until the next day slightly before checking out, they cut off my room electricity abruptly half an hour before checkout time! Imagine if you’re still using the bathroom! This needs serious attention as I have never encounter such scenarios before, in my entire life experience of travelings and staying in hotels. Never. Of course my booking came with the “late checkout privilege” so why the rush? Oh and they did offer an upgrade of room (when checking in) but, but with additional charges! Wondering if these misunderstandings were “intentional” or caused by miscommunication between the hotel management and platform, a sales technique? Please clarify: rewards enjoyable/ available after booking, if possible thank you

GGallleyaThis is the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to China. We lived in a separate house. It's quiet and cozy there. The air conditioner works well for heating.
The hostess is very friendly and kind. When we got lost during check-in, she herself came for us. Also thanks to the man who helped us when leaving the hotel.
Comfortable bathroom, good beds, spacious room. I highly recommend it!
