My recent business trip to Kunshan led me to the Kunshan Zhongcheng Holiday Hotel, and my overall experience far exceeded expectations. It's an excellent choice for accommodation in Kunshan, perfectly suited for both business and leisure travelers, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Nestled within the Tianfu National Wetland Park, the hotel is a true natural oasis hidden in the city. The environment is serene and peaceful, far removed from the urban hustle and bustle. Opening the window reveals lush greenery and lake views; in the morning, you can watch the glistening lake, and in the evening, enjoy the stunning sunset glow. The ambiance is simply captivating, instantly melting away travel fatigue. The location is also very convenient, close to a subway station, with easy access for self-driving and thoughtful complimentary shuttle services, making getting around a breeze. The lake-view room I stayed in was spacious and airy, starting from 40 square meters, feeling expansive and unconfined with a well-organized and rational layout. The room's cleanliness was exceptionally meticulous; tabletops, floors, and bathroom corners were spotless. The dry-wet separated bathroom was neat and dry. The King Koil mattress was just the right firmness, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a supremely comfortable sleep. Thoughtful details stood out, like the dehumidifier, which is perfect for the plum rain season, and amenities such as a viewing balcony and bathrobes, all contributing to a high-quality living experience. The hotel breakfast was excellent, with fresh and abundant ingredients and a wide variety of options. There were freshly cooked noodles, warm porridges, exquisite pastries, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables, and local specialties. The flavors catered to a broad palate, with a balanced mix of meat and vegetables, and a different selection each day, fully meeting diverse dining preferences. What truly impressed me was the hotel's service. The entire staff was warm, polite, and responsive. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were efficient and quick, and the staff's attitude was patient and gentle, making the entire experience comfortable and pleasant. The overall hardware and software, environmental ambiance, and service details all far surpassed other hotels in the same price range, offering exceptional value for money. It has now been added to my go-to list for accommodation in Kunshan, and I will definitely choose it again for my next trip. I loved it!

Not great value for money. I was driving through Kunshan and needed a place to stay for one night. I looked around and found Hualuxe (I'd stayed at one in Kunming and assumed it would be the same quality), so I booked it without hesitation. The underground parking felt a bit chaotic, and when I went upstairs to check in, the lobby was very noisy. There wasn't just one hotel reception desk; multiple hotels shared a single row. After finding the Hualuxe front desk and checking in, I went upstairs and noticed the elevators didn't require a key card to operate, which made me feel a bit uneasy about security. As I walked down the hallway, an unpleasant smell hit me. I thought it would be fine once I got into the room, but the room itself had a strong, musty, damp odor. The window was very high and blocked by a sofa, making it impossible to open. The biggest issue was that the duvet was completely damp (which is very unusual). Also, the swimming pool is shared with other hotels, so it was crowded, and the restrooms smelled terrible. On the plus side, the room was very spacious, the facilities were decent, and breakfast was quite extensive. The set meal for two at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor was prepared with great care and tasted delicious.

The service of the lady at the front desk was very good. I originally booked three standard rooms, but I mistakenly booked a double room. The front desk upgraded it for free👍

The location is at the junction of Suzhou and Shanghai, a intersection, it is relatively easy to find, there are also restaurants and supermarkets around, the location is OK. But, but, but, the room is smaller than the picture, the bed is affixed, of course this is not much. The window can open a seam, that's fine. The main reason is that the noise is too loud. I chose the side of the community. I thought it would be quieter. As a result, there was either the roar of the construction site motor or the sound of the train passing by, and there was a huge noise from the outside of the air conditioner. In short, except for sound insulation, everything else is okay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The location was convenient, with restaurants and public transportation nearby. Breakfast had a good variety of options and everything tasted fresh. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

The overall stay is great! Why do I say that, because I was temporarily arranged to travel to this place, I saw this hotel as soon as I left the company door, and then I decided. The time to the hotel was late. The front desk lady also intimately told me that there is a place to eat next to me. I patiently showed me the way and liked it! ! ! The breakfast is refreshing; although small, the ingredients are of good quality and filling. It's fairly convenient to the cemetery, but a bit of a walk from the subway station, which isn't particularly convenient for the elderly or children; taking a taxi is recommended. Cons: The staff service doesn't justify the price. I was in a rush to activate my membership card, and firstly, their manner was unpleasant, making me feel like I was being taken advantage of by booking through Ctrip. Secondly, a male staff member carelessly left my ID card in a crack in the counter. The female supervisor said she'd activate the membership first, and if I wasn't in a hurry, she'd bring my ID to my room later. Me: ??? Of course I was in a hurry! The toilet seat was set too hot, and the staff didn't know how to adjust it, requiring me to call a senior employee. While their problem-solving attitude was good, it felt like they hadn't explained it beforehand. When I asked about the late-night porridge arrangement, the staff seemed reluctant, which I also found strange. When I arrived at 9:40, the porridge was almost gone, and the black bean porridge was down to just a little bit of black bean liquid. Perhaps they hadn't prepared enough food. Of course, the two girls were quite nice the next day. They were very generous with the water they offered, and kept apologizing when asked for feedback. But really, what did it have to do with them?

After staying two nights, we decided to stay one more night. We came by car and the hotel has its own parking lot which is completely free. The hotel is just outside the Zhaofeng Road Station of Shanghai Metro Line 11. You can take the subway eastward to various attractions in downtown Shanghai and directly to Disneyland. To the west, transfer to Suzhou Metro Line 11 at Huaqiao Station and go directly to various attractions in Suzhou. How convenient! The car can be parked for free at the hotel, which saves the inconvenience of driving and parking in the urban areas of Shanghai and Suzhou, and the parking fees in the urban areas are extremely expensive. Finally, I would like to say that this hotel is very cost-effective. You can stay for two or three nights here instead of one night in a hotel of the same level in Shanghai or Suzhou. In short, it's warm, convenient, clean and cost-effective. Next time I come to Shanghai or Suzhou, I will still stay here.
