"This is a brand new hotel, so new you can still smell the renovation. The windows require a tool to open, and it took two calls before someone came to help. Perhaps they're understaffed. I chose Hyatt Place partly because it's new, but why no smart toilets in a 2025 renovation? Why does the bathroom floor pool with water so badly? And those wall-mounted toiletries – I wonder if management has actually tried using them? It seems they're so worried about theft that they completely overlook user experience, and the lack of a shelf isn't great either. All in all, there's plenty of room for improvement."

"Attending a business meeting in Kunshan, I chose the Golden Eagle Shangmei Hotel, and my experience far exceeded expectations – it definitely deserves a full five-star review! The hotel is proudly located in the heart of Kunshan's city center CBD, seamlessly integrated with the Golden Eagle International Shopping Center, making it Kunshan's most influential landmark commercial complex. It's only about a ten-minute taxi ride from Kunshan South Station, so transportation is incredibly convenient. The hotel lobby is situated on the 29th-floor sky lobby, and the high-altitude view was breathtaking from the moment I stepped in. Daisy Wu handled my check-in with exceptional efficiency, displaying warmth, professionalism, and a very gentle and attentive demeanor. I stayed in a Premium City View King Room, which starts from 47 square meters – the spaciousness was a delightful surprise. The massive floor-to-ceiling windows offered panoramic views of the entire Kunshan city skyline; the view was expansive during the day and shimmering with neon lights at night. After a long day of work, a quick glance out the window instantly melted away my fatigue. The room design was stylish and minimalist, equipped with high-speed internet and a comfortable workspace. The bedding was soft and provided excellent support, ensuring a very high quality of sleep. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation, dual vanity sinks, and a bathtub, with complete and high-quality facilities. The Sky Western Restaurant on the 29th floor was another highlight; the breakfast selection was rich, combining both Chinese and Western options, along with freshly cooked local specialties like Suzhou Aozhao noodles and small wontons. For business needs, the hotel boasts a nearly 1,000-square-meter pillar-less grand ballroom with an 8-meter high ceiling, along with 8 multi-functional meeting rooms, all equipped with advanced facilities. Whether it's for a business trip or client entertainment, this is the most reliable and hassle-free choice in Kunshan. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip to Kunshan!"

"This little traditional inn was absolutely delightful 1 night stay and the host family could not have been more kind and helpful. The owner helped us get our bags to and from the inn as everything in this area is pedestrianised and no vehicle is available for transporting luggage. You must register for entrance into the historical zone at the main office before you try to enter the security gates by showing your ID as is the case with all things in China. Don't let this put you off. Smoking indoors is common so ask for smoke free treatment. Highly recommended."

"This was my first stay at this hotel and it was an excellent experience. The fitness center and swimming pool on the 5th floor are perfect for families with children. Since it's located by the lake, we were able to wake up early and take the kids for a walk and some photos by the lake in the morning."

"For a one-day trip to Kunshan during the May Day holiday, I compared various options on Trip.com (considering rooms, location, and reviews) and booked the Lamborghini. Parking in the B2 underground garage was a plus for us, as we drive a seven-seater and need ample space (multi-story parking wouldn't work). Check-in was very convenient, and Front Office Manager Chang was incredibly welcoming, even giving us a small gift. He proactively added us on WeChat, offering assistance with any questions. The room was spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom and a bathtub, perfect for our little one. Breakfast at the second-floor Western restaurant was excellent, with a wide variety of food and a comfortable ambiance. It's a shame there wasn't a dinner buffet. On the first floor, there's free craft making, which my daughter enjoyed for a long time. The second floor has arcade games, though not many, and they're more suited for older children. We had lunch at Lan Mian Fang; while pricey, it was definitely worth the money. There's a beautiful floating night market right outside the hotel. Just a few suggestions: there was no conditioner in the room, which made washing hair a bit difficult; and the lack of a door separating the shower area from the hallway felt a bit unusual – perhaps a sliding door could be installed. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily return if we have the chance."

A good place will have breakfast, and the breakfast environment and variety are all good. The room is quite large, and the types of tea, Sprite, Coke, and coffee are all complete. The price is quite cost-effective. The above is the reason for my choice. The bad part of this stay is that I saw hair before I went to bed. The auntie was very polite to change the sheets and quilts, and the front desk also communicated it in time. The bathroom has a disposable toilet mat, which is very considerate. After going to the toilet, there is a pile of hair on the ground. My occupational disease tendency, I looked down and saw a pile of unknown stains below, which made me feel that the impression was not very good. I hope the hotel can see that it can be improved."
