Perfect
AAnonymous UserIt was a very happy weekend trip. I spent two relaxing and comfortable days in the B&B. The service was very good. Knowing it was my birthday, they specially decorated the room and sent birthday noodles. The food was also great. The hot pot and barbecue sets booked in advance were large and fresh. I will bring my whole family with me next time.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, right inside the ancient town. You can get in for free after 5 PM. Plus, after breakfast the next day, you can tour Shen Hall and Zhang Hall for free. The value for money is just incredible! They even provide a bath kit in the room, which is a really thoughtful touch. Big thumbs up, highly recommend!

GGuest UserThis guesthouse, set in a traditional 'Sanheyuan' (three-sided courtyard) structure, offered an incredibly authentic and delightful experience. Despite being surrounded by commercial activity, it was a surprisingly quiet and rustic retreat, truly an oasis of calm in the bustling city. The rooms were clean, hygienic, and well-equipped. A major plus was the breakfast provided, and you could also order lunch or dinner at very reasonable prices, with delicious food. Dining outdoors by the river was particularly charming. Even when busy, the owner maintained an excellent, thoughtful demeanor. Traveling with elderly parents, the owner proactively offered pick-up and drop-off services, which was incredibly heartwarming and thoughtful.

KkathyThe soundproofing isn't great; the constant noise from the kids next door, both at night and in the morning, was really annoying. The room's facilities are quite old and show their age. However, the location is excellent, just a short walk to one of the scenic area's entrances. There are a decent number of parking spaces, though I'm not sure if it would be enough during holidays. Breakfast isn't a buffet; it's pre-set, but it's filling and the taste is acceptable.

RRouyuannainaiDuring the Qingming Festival holiday, we made a last-minute decision to go to Zhouzhuang to meet up with our sons.
We booked Puyue Guesthouse on Ctrip. The price was a bit high for a guesthouse, probably due to the holiday.
The guesthouse had its own coffee shop and bar, which instantly made it feel more upscale, haha. Their coffee was pretty good though 👍. The room facilities were all smart, with a large bathtub and even bath bags provided – great attention to detail.
In the morning, we sat on the terrace, enjoying tea and coffee; the air was so fresh.
The downsides were: the power outlets in the room had minor issues, there was significant water leakage under the sink, and we even found chicken bones left behind by a previous guest behind the bedside table 😓. The soundproofing was also a bit poor; we could hear the kids next door making noise at 7 am 😂. Fortunately, the service was excellent; the owner was very kind and responsive.
The guesthouse was very pet-friendly; the Maine Coon cats there were quite plump and very soothing to look at.

DDayanyueyueI took my high school kid here for a day off at the tail end of the holiday season. It was quick and convenient to get here from Shanghai. When I entered the hotel, I was told that the room type had been upgraded to a double bedroom, which was a real surprise. There were soft drinks and fruits in the room for us to enjoy, a huge sofa, and an exquisite little courtyard (the little snail had afternoon tea with us). It was so much fun to stay there for a day. There is also a granary that we can climb up in the hotel, as well as a Kunqu Opera art exhibition, and egrets by the lake. I especially want to mention the dinner in the hotel. Although it is a set meal, every dish is delicious. I look forward to coming again next time. It's great!

GGuest UserVery right choice! Highly recommended!
Over the weekend, I gathered a few friends to explore Yangcheng Lake and taste the hairy crabs that people across the country long for. After searching online for hotels around the lake, I chose this very cost-effective star-rated hotel. On the day I checked in, I asked the front desk clerk how to achieve ”eating eight legs at Yangcheng Lake” and received an enthusiastic reply. The young lady also wrote me directions. Introduction: There are subway and bus stations just downstairs from the hotel. Even taking a taxi only takes about 20 kilometers. Living in this hotel in the city saved me money on the high-speed train back to Beijing rather than living near the lake. Do you think it's worth it? Haha, you made the right choice!
The bathroom and room area are relatively large, luxurious and comfortable, and the hygiene is first-rate. The room attendant also introduced me to a better local crab restaurant, which they call ”Crab Village”
I was bored when I came back at night. The hotel has a mahjong room open and the air is fresh, which is nice.

RRaph-31Very nice house, the compound feels very like a vacation village, perfect to escape Shanghai for couple of days. We didn't get much occasion to visit around because of the Typhoon but we really liked our time in the house and there is small supermarket 10 minutes walk. Kitchen tools (pots, knifes..) could be refreshed. Service is overall very good.

GGuest UserBefore I arrived at the hotel, the lady boss called to ask what time I would arrive so that she could prepare the room in advance. When I arrived at the hotel, the lady boss was at the door. Because it was not the weekend, there were not many people staying in the hotel, so she helped me upgrade the room. As soon as I entered the room, I was really surprised. I had always stayed in star-rated hotels before, and this was my first time staying in a homestay. The room was very clean, with solid wood furniture and a reasonable layout. There was also my favorite old white tea Shoumei on the table.
