The homestay is built along the river, with the river water flowing through the door and black boats shuttling in front of it. It is over 200 meters away from Grandma Bridge, Shenting, Shuangqiao, and 300 meters away from museums and ancient archways. The homestay courtyard is quaint and elegant, and the building is full of the charm of Jiangnan water towns. The room equipment and facilities are exquisitely designed, all equipped with smart toilets, free giant screen projection, and public activity spaces such as tea bars, automatic hemp tables, and chess and card games. You can leisurely relax and think here. Let's go into seclusion in the secluded courtyard of the Hidden Cottage in the bustling world, as stated in the poem 'Song Jian has wine to summon me, let's meet each other and build a Hidden Cottage'!
"Bring the kids to relax after the exam. The courtyard is easy to find, the housekeeper has a good service attitude and is very enthusiastic. The whole building is newly renovated, and the decoration style is very consistent with the characteristics of Zhouzhuang Ancient Town. The environment is so beautiful. The room we booked also has tatami, which is very spacious for four people. There is beautiful scenery right outside the door. The breakfast is also very rich. Come again next time~"

PPWHHA very nice stay. The host is very helpful. The room is as nice as the photo provided. Location is perfect, with the attraction entry gate a few steps away only. The view out from the window is perfect. Everything is just nice.

AAnonymous UserIt was a very happy weekend trip. I spent two relaxing and comfortable days in the B&B. The service was very good. Knowing it was my birthday, they specially decorated the room and sent birthday noodles. The food was also great. The hot pot and barbecue sets booked in advance were large and fresh. I will bring my whole family with me next time.

Wwl****The location is fantastic, right inside the ancient town. You can get in for free after 5 PM. Plus, after breakfast the next day, you can tour Shen Hall and Zhang Hall for free. The value for money is just incredible! They even provide a bath kit in the room, which is a really thoughtful touch. Big thumbs up, highly recommend!

GGuest UserI was very pleased with my B&B. From the decor and the customer service, it's top-notch in my opinion. The room was spotless, even the balcony chairs were cleaned. The bathroom was fully Kohler, with an unexpected Hansgrohe shower. I didn't get a close look at the mattress, but it felt like a King Koil-quality one, and quite comfortable. The location is great, about a three-minute walk from the Twin Bridges. You can sit at the bridgehead until 9pm, watching the cruise ships slowly dissipate, and then return home later. Speaking of the service, the housekeeper was very welcoming and warm, something not many people can offer. In short, I'll see you next time I visit Zhouzhuang.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel environment is very good. It is nice to sit on the sofa in the lobby and work on a laptop, or discuss things with clients. Taking the elevator to the room upstairs, the environment is quiet, very suitable for a rest on a business trip. I like the sentence in the elevator: Mountains and rivers along the way, a harbor at one end.

TTaikangaimengerI visited Zhouzhuang Ancient Town and found Fengyuantang, a courtyard guesthouse, on Trip.com. Initially, I was drawn by its name, and upon arrival, I was thoroughly impressed. I love courtyard-style guesthouses that feel like home, and this one truly met all my expectations. The guesthouse is located within the ancient town, making it very convenient to go out and explore. The owner is beautiful and enthusiastic, personally picking us up and dropping us off at the parking lot, and constantly asking if we needed anything. They also have an adorable little dog, and the guesthouse is pet-friendly, which is a great convenience if you're traveling with pets. Although the room wasn't huge, it was incredibly clean. They also offer meals, which are affordable, delicious, and generously portioned. I've traveled to many places, and this was by far my most satisfying stay. I will definitely be staying here again! 😊

GGuest UserFacilities: The hotel is not a new project, but the overall facilities are better than expected. The small road from the parking lot to the hotel may be a little unstable because it is made of wood. It is recommended to maintain it later.
Service: Travel-check-in-check-out, the housekeeper mode follows up the whole process, basically responds to every request in the group and replies very promptly.
The overall environment is very good. The rooms facing the water can directly see the village from the balcony. You can also go to the Ideal Village and other interesting cultural and creative studios and coffee shops nearby. Anyway, you won’t be bored. Except that there will be a little more mosquitoes in this season, everything else is ok. If you want to experience this type of hotel, it is recommended to stay here.

DDayanyueyueI took my high school kid here for a day off at the tail end of the holiday season. It was quick and convenient to get here from Shanghai. When I entered the hotel, I was told that the room type had been upgraded to a double bedroom, which was a real surprise. There were soft drinks and fruits in the room for us to enjoy, a huge sofa, and an exquisite little courtyard (the little snail had afternoon tea with us). It was so much fun to stay there for a day. There is also a granary that we can climb up in the hotel, as well as a Kunqu Opera art exhibition, and egrets by the lake. I especially want to mention the dinner in the hotel. Although it is a set meal, every dish is delicious. I look forward to coming again next time. It's great!

RRaph-31Very nice house, the compound feels very like a vacation village, perfect to escape Shanghai for couple of days. We didn't get much occasion to visit around because of the Typhoon but we really liked our time in the house and there is small supermarket 10 minutes walk. Kitchen tools (pots, knifes..) could be refreshed. Service is overall very good.
