Hotels in Koh Phangan

"Not sure about the standard in Haad Rin, but compared to other hotels in Phangan/Samui, this is not a 4-stars experience at all (especially not for the price required). Rooms are small and too close to each other. Breakfast is really basic and very crowded. Hotel staff is not the most pleasant around. They fine and threaten about anything related to external food/drinks but then ask for amazingly high prices in their restaurant for mediocre food (and awful cocktails). If it was a 3-star hotel at half the price then maybe it would be worth it. Saving grace is the great beach and the hotel itself is rather beautiful."

"Splendid hotel with stunning views, comfy rooms. You will need a car or bike if you want to get to the beach. The only thing that could be improved is breakfast: the choice is small and so is portions."

"Beautiful in the photo. You can't swim on the beach nearby (August) because of very strong low tides. And no one swam even at high tide. We had a Delux villa. All the amenities are in good condition. The bed is comfortable. The sink drained poorly. There is a microwave and dishes. A kettle and a set - instant coffee and tea. There were no fruit shops nearby. But several shops - 7/11, Lotus and big C. Breakfast is not a buffet, but several types of scrambled eggs, toast, ham and muesli, instant coffee. Coffee from a coffee machine - for money."

"Such a great place on the best beach of the island! Very quiet if you’re traveling between full moon parties and in low season 👍 the room is spacious and new, has got an AC and a mini fridge. The location is great, walking distance from 7-11 and multiple western restaurants 👏 we really enjoyed staying here"

"A good place to stay for a few days in solitude. Beach: Long, about a kilometer. The sand is not so white and quite large, but still not bad. I could not fully appreciate it because of the waves, but it is shallow, you need to walk a long way to deep water. Sunset side, you can contemplate beautiful sunsets. Beach area: there is everything you need, tables, sun loungers. The hotel territory is very green, well-groomed. There is a swimming pool (I did not use it). There is a cafe at the hotel, they cook tasty and inexpensive. Territorially at some distance from the nearest shops (15-20 minutes walk to the nearest 7/11 and mini-market). Far from all other locations. Only taxis, or rent a car / bikes. Bungalow: it was a little scary. It looks unreliable (stamp your foot and the whole house shakes). In the bathroom, in the shower there is a smell of sewage. Very small in size, but nevertheless quite nice, like a Soviet tourist center, such an association came to mind. In general, if for a short time, then you can stay."

"Echo Beach Hostel truly matches his name. With a large sitting area in the sand and located directly on the beach, you can’t find a better place to stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bar has everything you need at reasonable prices. It’s quick and easy to get to most of the hot spots around town and you can grab an amazing breakfast at Bubbas right across the street. However the highlight was the party board in the common room, that lists all the best parties on the island every day of the week!"

"Very good location , and wonderful view from swimming pool to the sea side . Near to full moon party and haad rin beach. But(!) beds are very uncomfortable, the bath outside with strange water color, cleaning is so so. Very very simple breakfast with 2 mini sausages 😂 but very very beautiful location."

"The location is good, and the place itself is beautiful. Not really a studio nor an apartment, but a nice and comfortable hotel room. The view is great. One thing that wasn't good is that I got some severe insect bites in the bed, probably ants."

"Place is nice and location. I’m impressed with khun Pam. She is very nice and kind. Their service is the best!! The price is acceptable for the quality. It was my boyfriend birthday. I called Khun Pam 4 hours before arriving. She prepared the cake and small flowers for my boyfriend. What a good service! We will come back for sure."
