We had a wonderful stay at Kupu Kupu Phangan and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful, and very well-maintained—ideal for relaxation and well-being.
A very special thank you goes to the fantastic team, especially Bank, AD, Micky, San, Aek, Lin, Ziny, Nonoe, and Foam. Everyone was always warm, attentive, and incredibly friendly.
We were particularly touched by the loving and patient way our son was treated. As a family, we felt welcome from the very first moment.
We would love to return and wholeheartedly recommend Kupu Kupu Phangan.

Aleksandr D eWe chose a hotel for a holiday with children and rented a motorbike to go to the nearby beaches. The location is excellent; we visited at low tide, but regretted it. Next time, only at high tide. You can swim, but it's shallow at low tide, approximately 70 cm deep, and 40 cm at low tide. But since we went to the neighboring beach, it was just as shallow there.

Beautifully maintained and peaceful bungalows in a garden right on the beach.
The staff is helpful (thank you, Sunny!) and offers great advice.
The bungalow has storage space. The bedding is very comfortable. A quick rinse with water before entering.
Towels are changed daily.
The beach is simply magnificent. There are massage services and restaurants.
We stayed for 5 days... I would definitely go back.

The hotel is located 1 km from the center of Koh Phangan. Nearby, there's a food court, 7-Eleven, Makro, and Big C. There's also a swimming pool, and the rooms are clean. The staff is polite. I recommend it.

”Spectacular views, shame about everything else”
Venus on Koh Phangan is the definition of a mixed bag—and unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives here.
Let's start with what works: the view is absolutely stunning. Perched overlooking the water, it's genuinely breathtaking and exactly what you'd hope for when booking an island getaway. If you're someone who can sit on a balcony and stare at the sea for hours, you'll get that here.
The problem is you'll have to stare at it from a very tired room. The accommodation is old and frankly, dying for a renovation. Everything feels dated and worn—furniture, fittings, decor—like stepping back in time but not in a charming way. It's functional at best.
The location compounds the issues. It's terrible—nothing around at all, and almost inaccessible by foot. You'll absolutely need your own transportation (scooter or taxi) just to get to a restaurant or convenience store. If you're without wheels, you're stranded.
Overall, Venus trades entirely on its view, but neglects everything else. If you prioritize scenery above all and have your own transport, maybe. Otherwise, look for somewhere that puts equal effort into the actual accommodation and location.

You need a motorbike to get about on kohpangan because taxis are very expensive.
The dogs are sweet and soon recognised me and remembered me . They just bark when they first meet anyone .

71/60大BIs a small resort hide just offside of the road.
To enter wirh your car need careful driving as it is narrow and rough.

Room at first glance is lovely but the first night is a nightmare since a lot of mosquitoes inbthe room and I need to but a mosquito coil to kill them and also the smoke killed us too.
Aftet that, it is fine and evan though sometimes we may be bitten agian by the strong mosquitoes.
No breakfast but you can use their utensils such as kettle, hot plate, microwave to cook.
30Thb to wash and a drying rack is located at the back of the room with sufficient hanger to hang and dry your clothes.
A small swimming pool but I would dare to try.

AngyoThe hotel is like a secret paradise with a private beach super quiet and calm away from the street noise. The rooms are big and very comfortable. The only bad thing was the other guests coming back home drunk at 4am shouting like no one else was sleeping...

MVCarvalhoThe place is very beatiful with amazing view, but for 4 stars hotel they need to make improvements in general, service, food and facilities.
The hotel is too far from the center about 40 min by car, and the hotel doesn’t provide any shuttle for free, if you want to go to the city for any reason you have to pay.
Breakfast: there is variety of food but I’m my opinion it’s not a good quality, I was expecting more.
Facilities: swimming pool and sun beds is ok, they provide one kind of fabric but isn’t towel.
Room: my room was beatiful and clean, but so dark, bathroom the floor was a kind of tiles slippery and little bit, this is a kind of hazards.

Phil HamillThe place has great views with great service & very clean. The problem is its positioning & lack of trees. On the side of a hill it faces the hot sun all day & with no tree protection is melting every afternoon. The pool was green & murky when I stayed.
