"The hotel room was perfect. And for the price, including breakfast, it was truly unbeatable. Beautiful surroundings, although it does have a bit of a ghost town feel. However, it was ideal for our one-night stay, as we were continuing our journey the next morning anyway. The staff were also friendly and very helpful in explaining everything in English (including breakfast). The breakfast buffet was ample and tasty. However, you should be prepared for a Vietnamese breakfast and not expect a typical European one."

"Went with my parents ~ the room is massive with 2 toilets ! The view is incredible and the pool is also great ! Even it is a bit far from city centre I love the location, it’s near local shops and market. If you want to explore more local stuff , would recommend you stay here. Just one upset thing about this place, few staffs got really sick with chesty cough but they still work in reception and also the dining hall without mask on and non stop coughing ( which this is really bad as cough near the food ) hope they can improve more on this part."

"Wonderful 2 nights stay at the DelaSea hotel. What I enjoyed most was the staff as they were all so caring and helpful. Highly professional. From the reception with Hoa taking special care of me not to mention ”Alice” and the others. Same at the restaurant. From the manager to the supervisors to the staff. I can't name them all here but they made my stay very special. Food was really good. Staff attention was ”phenomenal”. The room was great (I got one on the top floors facing the bay) and despite being a very noise sensitive person I slept very well. No loud music noise (it was on a weekend early November). The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner was not noisy though very efficient. Good shower. I did not use the swimming pool but it looked great. By the way I was told that taking photos from the bay at sunset from the swimming pool is ”the thing to do” :) I can only praise the staff and the management for the wonderful hospitality even when super busy with big groups (which was the case during my stay). Based on my personal experience I definitely highly recommend the DelaSea hotel and it will be my choice next time I am in Ha Long."

"The overall decoration of the hotel is very new and the price/performance ratio is relatively high. It is much better than the hotels in Hanoi, and the front desk staff can speak Chinese."

"Everything was good, but I was a bit disappointed with the lunch I ordered from the à la carte menu. It stated that the lamb racks would be 220g, but there were two small racks that couldn't have weighed more than 100g at most, and they were tasteless."

"The rooms are clean, the equipment is simple and stylish, but the breakfast is really too simple and there is nothing to eat. In this day and age, people still use instant coffee. There is a coffee cup on the table. Do you have to take the cup to the dining counter to pour the coffee yourself? A bit weird. Fortunately, the restaurant waiters were friendly and diligent."

"We like 5-Star Wyndham Legend Hotel very much and show on my rating except hot water is unable to maintain right temperature from hardware services. Nevertheless, We strongly recommend to stay and hope to come again next trip. We also want to comment good service to Hotel staff especially the chef knowing my wife unwell for almost 7 days and to providing effective method to improve my wife health condition. Wishing Wyndham Legend to continuing with good services for all guests."

"The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very friendly. We had a wonderful 6 nights staying here. It’s close to the cruise port for those wanting day trips to Halong Bay. However, there isn’t much in the local area to do. The hotel has an amazing pool with a swim up bar. Breakfast was great and the food in the restaurants was very well priced given what was being offered locally. I recommend this hotel for those wanting a relaxing stay at a hotel."
