Overall it’s a good experiences, Guest Relations team proactively recovered my bad experiences when we had the breakfast and extend the check out till 2pm with some amenities and fruits delivery. Buffet restaurant definitely need more trainings about how to bring more efficient during the peak hours but service staff attitude are very positive. Breakfast food is ok. Facilities are quite new and well maintained - reception helped to upgrade my rooms as we traveled together and arrange properly. Except the elevator which is quite odd that you have to take excessive steps to lobby. Location is good near the bottom of the ErHai having a great seat view but if you want to go to the ancient city or some ancient towns to the west of the sea you’d better have a car or you have drivers.

Very nice B&B, the owner is very nice. Sleep is really the most important thing when you go out to play. I am more particular about my bed, but the mattress here is really comfortable, the bedding is also great, and the pillow height is just right. The room faces Erhai Lake, and you can see the sunrise when you open the curtains in the morning. The room is very clean and refreshing. The stay experience is very good. I will definitely come again next time!

A 10 minute taxi from the old town. Great service and a wide selection of food for breakfast and dinner. Buffet style with lots of options for Chinese or plenty of Western options too. Reasonably priced and great views of the lake. After a day walking around the old town or hiking on the mountain it was nice to return to the peace and quiet of this hotel.

The hotel upgraded the room with a small courtyard for free. The location is in the ancient city, and the car cannot be directly delivered. The hotel will arrange staff (very hard) to help take the luggage to the nearest parking lot, which requires a five-minute walk. The front desk added WeChat, claiming to be a one-to-one service, but the response was slow, probably because there were many guests. What I was not satisfied with was the hotel breakfast. The reserved rice noodles can be given to other guests. After 9 o'clock, there is not much left for breakfast. I told the rice noodle chef that the side dishes were insufficient, but no one added them. It seems that they don't care about improving the quality of breakfast. The water in the hotel swimming pool is too cold. It is claimed to be room temperature, but it is basically not suitable for swimming.

The front staff are helpful. The room mattresses are so far the best in our recent trips to China. General manager miss Wendy is very friendly and accommodating. Great!

It is recommended that you get up early around 9 o'clock to take photos because the light is good. The overall sense of space in the B&B is very strong. It does not feel crowded and you have to use every inch of land. The relaxed feeling of leaving blank space is very suitable for vacation⛱️ The hotel is very close to Rainbow Kilometer and can be reached on foot. It’s also great for taking photos.

Twin room, 2*1.35, this bed is really convenient for children. There is a parking lot for easy parking. There are many restaurants, small restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel, which are within walking distance. We drove here after getting off the plane in Kunming and stayed for one night. It is cost-effective, 259 yuan per night, and you can't ask for too much. The breakfast is not good, but it is filling. Sleep well and quiet.

Thank you to Brian, Jeanne and the team, including Shirley who gave us a warm welcome and a wonderful stay. The Linden Center in Xizhou is a fascinating and wonderful place to visit and stay. Learn about the history of the house and local area. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The food is excellent, choose to eat on the restaurant, the relaxing bar or the gorgeous terrace overlooking the green paddy fields and mountains. Take the morning market tour and be guided around Xizhou with it’s beautiful architecture and friendly people. We actually didn’t go very far this trip as we just enjoyed relaxing in the linden center courtyards, our kids also especially enjoyed the playroom. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back to visit the other Linden Centers.

The service was exceptional! We had a personal butler who was super helpful and responsive to all the requests we had. She also helped us to arrange for a car service to explore the attractions that we wanted to see in Dali. The hotel was modern, clean and centrally located in the heart of the ancient town. There are also some really nice photo spots and they provided snacks for us to feed the seagulls. Although there were insects that flew into the room at night, we asked for assistance and the staff promptly came to clean it up. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend others to stay here!

The hotel is very beautiful, comfortable and location is alright. Good option if you don't want to stay inside the old town as it gets too busy. Our bathroom had some leakage which was partially solved. But my biggest disappointment is that we chose this hotel because it shows as having an outdoor pool but it's actually just a water feature. It shouldn't show in the search results when you filter hotels with outdoor pools, as it's not a pool.
