Plus, it's convenient for getting around, and there are many delicious local food options nearby. What truly deserves more praise, though, is the hotel's service: 1. Due to a flight delay, we arrived too late for the hotel pickup. They thoughtfully provided a fruit platter and had the sofa bed already made up. Receiving such a warm welcome from the Datong locals immediately upon our exhausted arrival really helped alleviate the travel fatigue. 2. Every staff member at the hotel greeted us appropriately whenever we met, and they were always quick to assist and resolve any needs we had. There were even complimentary bottled water available in the elevator area. My stay experience was perfect. 3. After checking out, I accidentally left some clothes behind. The hotel promptly contacted me and arranged for them to be couriered to my next destination. The handling was efficient and flawless. If I ever come back to Datong, I'll definitely choose this place again, and I'll recommend it to all my friends!

We booked three rooms n stayed for three nights consecutively at xiyun hotel . We will like to express our heartfelt gratitude towards three lovely front desk staffs namely Li Lu,Nanbei n Ms Wei. Very approachable and service oriented staffs They will go to extra mile to accommodate our requests n concern.they are an asset to the hotel industry. Of all the hotels I've stayed in, this was the most heartwarming experience I've ever had. The hotel's housekeeping staff, Sister Zhang Chundi, were incredibly kind. My child wasn't feeling well the night before and was in bed the next morning. When Sister Zhang came to deliver bedtime snacks, she noticed my child was unwell and brought ginger tea and a foot bath with lots of safflower and mugwort for me to soak my child in. Sister Zhang also told me about their laundry service for children, and I happily gave her my clothes. Later, I learned that she hand-washed each garment, explaining that it wasn't good to put children's clothes in the washing machine. I was amazed; the service was so thoughtful and attentive that I almost felt bad. The hotel bathrooms also had laundry detergent for guests' convenience, and the room service was incredibly affordable, some dishes even cheaper than those at restaurants outside—it was truly generous.

The mattress was of outstanding quality, offering just the right amount of support when lying down. Combined with the excellent soundproofing, I was able to fully relax and rest after a day of travel, leading to very high-quality sleep. The self-service breakfast offered a good mix of Chinese and Western options, with plenty of fresh and delicious pastries, hot dishes, porridges, and drinks. The hotel also provides a free self-service laundry and drying area, as well as an open-plan gym, catering to both long and short-term stays, which is especially convenient for business travelers. The hotel's proximity to transportation hubs makes getting around by taxi or public transport very easy, and there are abundant dining and shopping options nearby, giving it a clear advantage in terms of location.

It was a great stay, just too hot as the air conditioning wasn't working. The environment is beautiful, and it's convenient for getting around. I really appreciate that. The hygiene was also quite clean, the facilities were complete, and the service was pretty good.

Booked a bathtub king room, which was perfect. After a long day out with the kids, a nice bath was just what we needed to unwind, and the kids loved it! The room was very spacious, with a table that was super convenient for eating and for the kids to do their homework. There are tons of food options nearby, including Pizza Hut, Starbucks, and Haoxianglai. In the evenings, there are also many street food stalls along the road, which is really convenient. Ordering takeout was also a breeze!

The decor details are really well done. The cleanliness is reassuring, and the service is on point; check-in was fast, and any issues were addressed promptly. Being a new establishment, it offers great value for money. Definitely my top pick for accommodation when traveling!

As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I was impressed by the warm service at the front desk. The staff Xiaolin was patient and meticulous throughout the whole process, which made people feel very kind. When they encountered questions, they answered them one by one, and the travel precautions were reminded in place. The service is humane, the response speed is fast, and the warm service makes the whole trip to Datong more comfortable. The hotel staff called in advance to ask about my needs, and even brought complimentary desserts and fruit. The room and bathroom were very clean. The location is super convenient; a ride-hailing service to Datong Ancient City costs only 13 yuan and takes less than ten minutes. There are also large shopping malls nearby, so finding places to eat isn't a problem. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Datong!

The room was nice and the shower had good water pressure. Outside the hotel, there's a local market where you can buy groceries, and there's a place to eat knife-cut noodles. It's only five kilometers to the city center, making it convenient for getting around. The hotel also has underground parking.
