Hotels in Hakata, Fukuoka

The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance from the airport bus. The service is great. The hotel helped us store our luggage for free when we checked out, and we can take it out when we return to Fukuoka. It doesn't matter if we stay at the hotel when we come back, we stored it for four days. The breakfast is very good. I will stay here again next time.

PERECT location, literally a tunnel from the metro station to the hotel (best you ask the hotel which exit it is so you can avoid going up the ground floor). It was such a treat, like it's your secret tunnel. Love that it has a gym, and the free sake and Photo Booth was fun! V clean room, better you pay a bit more for the slightly bigger double room.

The room is clean and with all the amenities you need. However, the hotel is being very rigid on check in and check out time! They only let you check in after 3pm, even they have their rooms ready. As we noticed many people left in the early morning and they already started cleaning the room at 8ish, so the rooms are sitting empty but still they don’t let people check in early and they also not provide late check out. Not good at all! The location is a pain also, it’s not close to the Hakata station at all, have to walk 15 mins and with heavy rain and cold, it’s dreadful. You can take a bus to Hakata Station but I would say there’s not much to see around the station. Instead the Tenjin station got much more thing to see and do.

It is around 10 minutes walk from the JR station and two minutes from the bus terminal to the airport. Other than that, the stay is pleasant with an indoor bath area. It is surely a plus for a relaxing bath after touring around the spots during the day. Super clean and the breakfast is great with sufficient varieties for a fresh start of the day.

Good room service and helpful customer services. They helped to order Omakase for us for local Japanese restaurant. Welcome drink good quality. Spa good hygiene with supply of towels, no need to use room towels which earned high satisfaction. However, set breakfast rather than buffet breakfast which was beyond our expectations. 4 set breakfast not much choices during our 7 days stay in hotel. Food left behind most of time due to over size or food not fit the taste. Always food wasting occurred for customers. Will not choose this hotel again if still set breakfast. Anyway Miyako Hotel still earns high rating overall and will be suggested to our friends.

Swimming pool is great, even has swim cap and googles for you to borrow.  Breakfast restaurant has a good spread and has mentaiko toast!  the smoothie fridge is nice with ingredients in the smoothie presented. In the room, overall it's nice, but small details that made a difference for me was [1] not enough places to hang towels or clothes in bathroom (ex. having more hooks on the wall), and [2] the chair at the writing desk is VERY heavy, and I'm pretty strong, but it feels like it is bolted to the floor.  

I had a fantastic stay at Tokyu Stay Hakata! The hotel is conveniently located near Hakata Station and just a short distance from the international airport, making it incredibly accessible for travellers. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spacious by Japanese standards, very clean, and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the inclusion of a washing machine in the room, which was so convenient for longer stays. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fukuoka!

It was a comfortable stay. Location is great, just right in front of Hakata station. The room is generally clean. All staff are polite, Japanese or non-Japanese. Towels are provided everyday. Pyjamas and amenities such as cotton pads and combs are found in the lobby. Coffee machine and water machine are available all the time in the lobby. I definitely love the free breakfast, with cold and hot selections. A simple breakfast before heading out. However, I find the lighting in the room and bathroom is a bit darker to my liking. Overall, I recommended this hotel if you want an affordable and comfortable stay.

Good and clean hotel. The restaurant downstairs is famous for its mentaiko omelette rice, but make sure to get a ticket at 10am if you're staying there so you can go back to rest before the restaurant opens at 11:30am. The hot bath place is pretty nice as well, too bad the open area is closed. The hotel is around a 5-10 min walk to Hakata Canal City. Would definitely go back to stay there if the price is within my budget!

Spacious but basic room in a minimalist style, equipped with a coffee machine and smart TV, though lacking traditional storage like wardrobes; instead, there are hangers on the wall. The bathroom combines the shower and bathtub in one space, unlike other hotels where they are typically separate. Decent location, 10 minutes walk from Hakata train station. For parking, consider street options outside for better rates compared to the hotel's basement. Limited amenities, but the lobby is beautifully designed. The view from Room 603 is obstructed and unimpressive.
