One of the best hotel I’ve stayed throughout my Japan trip. Service was excellent. The room and the bathtub was good and really comfortable. My partner and I felt the dinner and the breakfast was really good. High quality ingredients and lots of variety. I would recommend going to the open air public onsen to check out the view (when it is not foggy).

This is probably one of the best and relaxed trip we ever had. Welcome service is fabulous and friendly.Ten-Yu had an amazing Onsen we enjoyed everyday several times which it switches everyday from 5th floor and 6floor daily. At night we had hot spring with an open outdoor hot spring with star and Mountain View.

Absolutely amazing place. Great food options and top notch onsen facilities. Only downside is that lack of staff kindness. I think it is due to many international staffs. Definitely not up to japanese omotenashi standards.

An absolutely beautiful place. This hotel is amazingly grand and the services is topped notched. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to travel to Hakone.

Went here for our honeymoon. Will definitely come back. I was amazed the first time I set my eye on the hotel. Everything was perfect and the staffs were very friendly too!

The kaiseki dinner was poor. We did not expect this kind of service and food quality at the hakone. We paid about 650US$ for 1 night including Kaiseki ans breakfast. Both both was poor.

We were greeted by hotel staff upon arrival. We were not given the option to select dinner time, which was set at 8pm which was late when compared with counterparts. We were only given the option to change to 5pm on the subsequent night, which was not convenient for us. The arrangement for who gets to be seated with the forest view or not is unknown and strange. On the first night we were seated at a room without a view, which was stuffy and adjacent tables full of uncleared dishes which give rise to an unpleasant odour. The other customers sitting in the room was served food all at once encompassing shabu shabu, while sashimi bowl was offered as a buffet. We were offered a forest view on the second night. Food was served according to courses, which was average and sashimi offered was similar to what was offered in the buffet though in large pieces. Breakfast was better with Japanese and western foods available. Rooms and onsens were nice. Recommend only choose the room only option as food was really not up to standard when compared to other Japanese counterparts.

The Japanese style room is so spacious and user-friendly. Looking out from the room, the treeline is so Zen. You can get free ice creams from the lobby, as well as tea, beer and coffee. Excellent services.

It provided free ice cream after Onsen. Kid love the hot spring so much! Dinner and breakfast are amazing. Countless choices and definitely worth visiting again and again.
