Location good, but difficult to find the Hotel, it was at the last corner of the road, 如家-a few same name hotel at nearby. The taxi driver all don't know where to drop me, hard time for me as a foreigner to locate the hotel. The staff was friendly. after hard time to find the hotel.

Don’t expect the most luxurious or fancy room. But it is still relatively clean, and I slept well. The air conditioning worked well and the room wasn’t stuffy. What wins is the location - you are seriously right at the heart of the action.

Downstairs has a nice bun shop and hangzhou restraunt. Very near the lake with pavilion and metro. There is a tour counter which offer some great deals. Stayed at lvl 3 can hear downstairs pp talking. But love the free flow bottled water.

The location is excellent, food also good, shipping is convenient walking, and mtr round the corner, weekend lake market is fun

I had a wonderful stay at the Merchant Marco Edgelake Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Hotel located near to metro station. The nearest station is Ding’an station exit gate D. The metro is red color (Line 1) direct line connecting to Hanzgzhou airport. So if you coming from airport no need to the change line. Hotel itself located at city, morning time can walk to Hangzhou museum, along the way many shops around. Western shops eg: macdonald, costa coffee, starbuck. Alot cafe, tea, souvenir shops. Close also morning market called Damanong. Can have breakfast and see the morning market. Use the public bicycle to go there, just use alipay. Distance 1.2km. Near the morning market at the end there is God City Temple for you to visit, can see the whole Hangzhou city from top of the temple. The hotel is clean, have free washing machine and dryer machine. Detergent provided. At the same place there are 2 treadmills provided ( gym quality). Couch provided while you waiting for you laundry. There is also a steam iron provided. Breakfast selection is good with varities of foods like egg fried rice, chicken sausage, ham, beef, eggs, salted eggs, cereal, warm soy milk, milk, bread, butter and strawberries jam. Noodles, congee, fruits, croissant, cupcakes, corn, cookies. There are 2 robots helping to deliver things inside the hotel. If you order food, the robot will send the food to your room. There are also snacks you can buy at the ground floor. For muslim, this hotel located infront of a mosque, there is a Halal restaurant near to the hotel. More halal restaurant across the road near to exit A og Ding’an metro station. I came during Christmas, the hotel give me present for Christmas, when I check out they give me souvenir to me also. Everyday, I was provided with 2 bottles of water and change new set of towel. The water heater, the heater function very well during winter. Im a happy guy during the visit.

The hotel is very good. It seems that the rooms have been upgraded with children. The old hotel is worth visiting. I had a lot of fun. There is also a study room where you can read. Just in time for their New Year's Day intangible cultural heritage event, Xiao Li enthusiastically explained the exhibits and asked the children at home to participate in painting fans and experience what the bamboo horse is called. I have learned a lot about the national intangible cultural heritage, haha

Super good service with welcome fruits, highly recommend this hotel. Hotel also provided us free breakfast for my kid and the breakfast is awesome, a lot of choice, fresh juice and food is delicious. The room is clean with full of tv programs. We are enjoying our stay in this hotel. Location is very near to xiwu, short walking distance. Other than this, hotel also give us free gift when we checkout. I will definitely stay this hotel again when i come back to hangzhou.

Great location within walking distance from Xihu, MRT station and and crowded shopping malls. However, the hotel showed its age with dim corridors and a very distinctive smell of insect repellent, typical for aged hotels. Breakfast buffet is simple traditional Chinese breakfast with a small selection of porridge, steam bun, corn, fried rice, quite satisfying if you are familiar with this kind of breakfast.

Excellent location - next to west lake and close to everything (good restaurant grandmom’s house is next door also local convenient store ) The decorations are rich with expensive materials. The breakfast is incredible. The hotel also provide free west lake yacth tour . Highly recommended
