It was a nice stay. Location is good, right in Coral Gables downtown. I would say that there are no kettles in the room but you can ask for it and they will send you one. The room charges won’t go against deposit, instead you have the pay and after you do the check out they will release the deposit back to you. For Chinese travelers this might seem odd.

Services and cleanliness were very good. Location is just on the edge of the shopping *****, but it is beside the West Lake. Hotel provided a one time complimentary one hour big boat ride around the lake at 0830hr daily with reservations. Breakfast was oriental and western, menu changed daily.

I lived in Nanjing several years ago and had a very good impression. When I came to Hangzhou this time, I had high expectations for the brand. The location is great. The Shikumen-style rooms have up and down stairs, but the facilities are old and there is nothing to worry about. It is good to experience the feeling of an old house. But the maintenance is too poor, the water in the shower is too slow, and it will overflow into the bathroom, and the air conditioning temperature is not enough; the balcony and terrace are not clean enough; the breakfast is okay, the bedding is quite comfortable, the service is only there, and the toiletries are average. This type of hotel, if you don't spend a lot of effort on maintenance and service, it's hard to feel good. It's just a one-time experience, and the price/performance ratio is average.

This is my second stay. Whenever I visit Hangzhou, I prefer staying near the lakeside for convenience. The hotel is in the style of an old star-rated hotel. The lobby and restaurant are very spacious and grand. The rooms are clean and well-equipped. I stayed here for two days. It takes 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Broken Bridge and 5 minutes to the lakeside. You can also go shopping at Wulin Night Market in the evening, which is only a 10-minute walk away. The room service is also attentive. After a day of visiting the West Lake, the room was very clean and tidy. Fruits and clothes drying racks were also prepared. The housekeepers Yu Ying and Ran Hanghu provided good service. I commend it. I will stay at Wanghu Hotel next time I come to Hangzhou.

The location is perfect! It’s close to the metro (line 1) and right next to West Lake. The rooms were clean and did not smell like smoke. The concierge helped us get tickets for the amazing Songzhen show and a driver even picked us up. Next time we come to Hangzhou we will definitely stay and Dongpo. My one complaint is a lack of privacy in the bathrooms. The doors are clear.

Checked in twice on different dates, stayed fifth floor but different rooms. First room had a bigger shower room. Bottled of mineral water were provided daily. Comb, slippers, toothbrush were all provided. There was hair dryer provided as well. Hotel location is very convenient. It’s just right at the HuBinLu Walking Street with many shops, cafe and food choices. It’s also within walking distance to the famous attraction West Lake. Bus stop and mrt nearby too! Strongly recommend! Will come back and stay in the future. The male front office officer (surname Shen) was very attentive to our needs throughout the entire stays on different occasions. Also special thanks to the female front office officer on duty on 25/12 noon who did the check-out for us (can’t remember her name but it was two character on name tag). Her service standard was superb!

The location of the room is very good. Located in Yintai 77c District. It is not far from the subway station or the West Lake. This is also very convenient for luggage storage. The hotel lobby can see the lake view. But the soundproofing of the hotel is a bit poor. The sound of opening and closing the door next door is very clear. There is also a bit perfunctory that breakfast needs to be improved.

I booked this room for a birthday and we were not disappointed! At the beginning we were put in a higher room, but with no view of the lake, so I asked to be moved and the staff was kind and gave us another room with view and an amazing, huge, bathtub. The position is pretty comfortable to reach the lake and has many amenities and shops around, in various malls. On the 3rd floor there is also the connection to a spa (not owned by the hotel) that we enjoyed a lot. The breakfast was very rich and varied, but I suggest not to go at 9 on Sunday, because it will be a little hard to find a seat!

Very good hotel. We chose a lake-view room but a bit smaller than a deluxe unit. Generally, the hotel is well-renovated, clealiness and housekeeping is good. Included breakfast spread is very good with western, japanese food and wide variety of chinese food. The hotel service is very good with front counter staff eager to serve. Location is very near to in77 Shopping and subway station(5mins walk) When we checkout at 6:15am, they had even packed breakfast for us which is very thoughful. Improvement: * Breakfast timings from 6:30-9:30am is a bit short. Ideally could have extended till 10:30am will be best. * One of the waitress could improve on her attitude instead of telling guests off and ignoring requests for fork and knife(they kept it in a drawer). The rest of waiter/waitresses are all good. * The moveable window could improve with better sound proof material * The room came with strong cigarette smell, we didn't change another room as we took an overnight flight to reach HZ.

Perfect hotel, the room clean, new equipment. I was upgraded free to room with windows. Staff with name 'Joyce' super friendly. She support with 100% enthusiastic, and some suggestions about restaurants with good food. Joyce was communicate with us by English well (we are foreigners) , thank you so much and hope will see you again. Good luck everything to you, Joyce. One more thing, we were surprised to leave a tip for the housekeeping staff but they thought we forgot the money and Joyce found us to return it. It so cute.

However, the hotel showed its age with dim corridors and a very distinctive smell of insect repellent, typical for aged hotels. The hotel is very beautiful. The location is perfect, right next to the city center where night life is vibrant nearby. Lots of people fill the streets. This hotel is conveniently located. There are all kinds of stores and restaurants as soon as as you walk out of the hotel. Best of all its less than 10 minutes from West Lake. Breakfast is quite decent as well. Staff were all very friendly and full of smiles. What was impressive was that I watched a security guard help some hotel guests clean out what I suspect was some kind of spillage in the trunk of their car. Overall, very clean, great staff and amazing value. I only gave 3 stars for service instead of 5 because people claim to work for the hotel offered a ride service for 240-300 RMB to drive us around the lake and take us to the best tourist spots. Anywhere we wanted for 3-4 hours. Free to go as we please. So my wife agreed. The reality was that he took us to one tourist spot. The rest were junk shops to sell overpriced tea, silk and other things. After the silk store we told we wanted to go to a specific tourist location and he said they were fake or didn't exist anymore. When he realized we weren't interested in buying anything he found the first available spot and tossed us to the curb. He wasted our day which caused us to book an extra day to go back to all the spots we were supposed to see.
