This hotel boasts an excellent location right by the Songhua River, within walking distance of the Flood Control Memorial Tower and Central Street. Getting around is super convenient, with a subway station directly across the road. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a feast, offering a mix of Western and Chinese dishes, plus some delicious Northeastern specialties and pastries. The 3D-printed yogurt is a cute touch! Our room was spotless and tidy, and they even provided disposable towels and mouthwash. If I ever visit Harbin again, I'll definitely choose Hapsburg!

I booked the basic room type through Ctrip for 90 yuan. The room was on the basement level, requiring a walk down stairs. The room was large and spacious, but it was surrounded by walls, had no windows, and no connection to the outside. Don't expect an upgrade to a room with a window or on an upper floor if you book the basic room type through Ctrip. My companion had a leg injury and was limping in and out, but still had to climb the stairs to the basement level. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're traveling with elderly people, sick individuals, or anyone with mobility issues. Late check-out isn't allowed; you must check out by 12 PM. Late check-out costs 35 yuan per hour, clearly priced. Ctrip also doesn't offer their own extended check-out until 2 PM. We stayed in room 9 on the basement level. The air conditioning wasn't working well; the buttons wouldn't activate it. The joint between the bathroom and the main room was damaged, and my companion slipped there after it got wet, though thankfully wasn't injured.

The hotel's decor is quite unique, and it's very close to Central Avenue, offering a peaceful retreat in a bustling area. The front desk staff sits down to check guests in, which reminded me of the Old Cataract Hotel, the best hotel in Aswan, Egypt. The front desk lady provided excellent service, being warm and attentive. The room facilities were all pretty good, and the toilet even had a bidet. However, the automatic sensor was a bit too sensitive; it would flush constantly, even flushing several times while I was still wiping. The room was small and a bit cramped. Breakfast was very rich and served until 10:30 AM, and there was also an afternoon tea. The hotel's location is also very convenient for taxis, situated on a small street between Central Avenue and Shangzhi Street, closer to Shangzhi Street. It was raining on the day we checked in, and as soon as our car stopped, a doorman immediately came out with an umbrella to greet us and proactively helped with our luggage – very thoughtful. When checking out, I accidentally pinched my hand with my luggage, and the front desk lady immediately showed concern and brought over a band-aid. The complimentary souvenir was also quite uniquely packaged and styled.

I stayed at the Qiuguo Hotel during my visit here, and the overall experience was fantastic! The hotel's ambiance is cozy and elegant, and the wooden-style decor is very comfortable. There's even a relaxing book bar in the lobby where you can unwind. My room was spotless, the bathroom amenities were of good quality, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm. After a good rest, I was re-energized for sightseeing. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic; a young man at the front desk proactively recommended authentic local food and touring routes, and the commercial area was within walking distance. The breakfast had a rich variety of options, with a good mix of hot and cold dishes, all fresh and delicious. The facilities are new, the WiFi is stable, and the price is affordable. It's my top choice for accommodation when traveling, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

The hotel location is perfect, just 4 minute walk to metro Shangzhi, 9 minutes walking straight distance to St Sophia Cathedral and Yibin cloth lunderground market, for Muslim you can have halal food 100 meter at the right street from the corner of the hotel which I used to take away 2 times while staying at the hotel. The hotel has luggage ramp at the right side of the hotel entrance, checkin and checkout is very fast, the receptionist can speak English at least helpful for those who do not speak Chinese, and I got welcome gift as well from the receptionist. The hotel has laundry room including detergent and dryer as well. Also has robot to deliver your food that you order from *******. There is also daily cleaning services. The safety is good, there is one day i just forgot to keep my ipad on the bed and it still there when i come back at night. I am thankful for the trusted service from the hotel staff. I recommend to fellow Malaysian traveller to stay here.

The Hongzhuan Morning Market is only three minutes away. How convenient is that? Cleanliness: Spotless! We were staying with a young child, so we moved the sofa next to the bed to prevent falls, and there wasn't a speck of dust underneath, which shows how thoroughly they clean. The bedding was dry and pristine, the bathroom had no odors, the drains worked perfectly, and even the nooks and crannies were dust-free. Facilities: Not brand new, but very well-maintained. The coffee machine was a nice and convenient touch. Service: The service was arguably the best part – incredibly heartwarming. They called us the day before our arrival. We got there quite early, and although our room wasn't ready, they kindly stored our luggage. Around 10 AM, they called to let us know the room was cleaned and ready for check-in. The next day, our child had online classes until 1 PM, and they graciously granted us a late check-out. The gentleman at the entrance actively helped with our luggage and greeted us warmly every time we passed. Great service truly lies in these small details, offering friendly assistance within arm's reach. That was really impressive.

Knowing we were out-of-town tourists, the staff thoughtfully offered us a tourist map, meticulously explained the routes to Central Street, St. Sophia Cathedral, and the Flood Control Monument, recommended restaurants popular with locals, and even kindly reminded us about the significant temperature difference between day and night in Harbin and little tips for staying warm outdoors. This saved us a lot of trouble with planning. After checking in, the detailed service was exceptionally heartwarming. The cleaning auntie cleaned the room so meticulously; tabletops and bathroom corners were all wiped spotless. She proactively replenished mineral water and toiletries daily. Seeing that we had brought a lot of snacks, she even brought an extra storage tray. Whether it was day or night, whenever we called the front desk with a question, the response was always quick, and the attitude consistently patient and gentle, without any perfunctory responses. The hotel's amenities are also very comprehensive. Free hot water and tea are always available, and the laundry and drying facilities are free to use, with staff proactively showing us how to operate them. Luggage storage and arranging taxis were also readily available. Returning from an evening stroll, there were always staff members on duty in the lobby, which made me feel very secure. On the day of check-out, the staff actively helped us with our large luggage and even gave us a special Harbin souvenir, which was incredibly thoughtful. The location is right next to Central Street, making shopping and getting around very convenient, but what truly impressed me most was the consistently meticulous service from start to finish. From the moment I stepped in until I left, every detail reflected the staff's genuine sincerity. There were no stiff routines, just truly practical and thoughtful care. If I ever come to Harbin again, I would still choose this Qiuguo Hotel, and I recommend it to all friends who value service and seek a comfortable travel experience!

It's quiet despite being central, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. There's a bus stop right outside, and taxis are easy to get. Service: Superb and very enthusiastic. They helped us with our luggage when we checked in, and if we needed anything after checking in, a quick call to the front desk would have it delivered in minutes. We could store our luggage after checking out, and they personally saw us off into our taxi, even giving us a big bag of souvenirs (forgot to take a picture!). Harbin was definitely worth the trip, I'll choose this place again next time! 👍

Had a really comfortable stay. The front desk service was excellent, and the location is fantastic. They even gave us a fridge magnet! The room was very warm, and it's right on Central Street, which made shopping and dining super convenient. The hotel room was clean, and there's a self-service laundry room on the 3rd floor. Nobody told me about the complimentary late-night congee or the Song Dynasty aesthetic dress-up experience. I don't know if they're actually offered, but I certainly didn't get to try them, so I can't comment. The double afternoon tea buffet is served in the lobby from 2 PM to 4 PM, for anyone wondering. Cleanliness: This was really poor. There were eggshells, and hair under the pillow. The duvet upstairs also had eyelashes on it. Although they politely cleaned it up, it was still a bit off-putting. Location-wise, it's really not far from Central Street, which is great! Facilities: The bathroom door is really awkward. My child pushed it open once and someone inside got hit in the head, which hurt a lot. But the biggest issue has to be the laundry room! Can't there be a set time for using it? People shouldn't be doing laundry at 11 or 12 at night. We ran into some inconsiderate guests who were really loud, shouting even after the front desk repeatedly reminded them. Finally, thanks for the room upgrade, though it ended up being right opposite the laundry room. I didn't sleep well at all. They did send earplugs later, but they rang the doorbell, which was a bit inconvenient. They could have just messaged me through the app, as no reply would mean I was asleep. Thanks anyway, and I hope your hotel gets better and better!
