What a fantastic stay! The hotel is conveniently located at Museum Station, a junction of Metro Line 1 and 2, and within walking distance of Heilongjiang Provincial Museum. It's just two subway stops from Harbin Institute of Technology and five stops from Sun Island Park, making it incredibly easy to get around. The room was cleaned promptly and thoroughly, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The bedding was soft and comfortable, with a choice of pillows at different heights. The laundry room offered self-service options, or you could have staff assist you, which saved a lot of time waiting. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were efficient, and the public areas were spotless and pleasantly fragrant throughout. Nearby, you'll find the famous Qiulin Company, Lidaosi International Building, Fendou Food Store (highly recommended!), Haobaike under Yuan Da Shopping Mall, and Songlei Commercial Building, offering plenty of dining and shopping options. It's a quiet oasis in the bustling city, an excellent choice whether it's your first time in Harbin or you're a returning visitor.

Exceeded my expectations! Location: The location is decent, near Harbin Station. Pedestrian crossings in the surrounding area are a bit inconvenient, requiring a small detour, but you'll get familiar with it after walking it once. Facilities: The in-room facilities were sufficient. I was surprised to find a faucet with filtered water – a first for me! While the hotel is over a century old and lacks an elevator, its two floors make this perfectly acceptable. Cleanliness: Very clean, from the hallways to the rooms. Service: My service interactions were limited to check-in, security inquiries upon entering/exiting, and check-out. The overall management felt like an old-fashioned concierge service. What surprised me was how few guests seemed to be staying, given the hotel's pleasant environment and good conditions. This is, after all, a historic hotel where prominent figures like Chen Geng and Chen Yun once stayed! I barely saw any other guests during my entire stay.

The hotel is directly opposite Harbin Station's South Square; you can see it as soon as you exit the station. The rooms are clean, and the soundproofing is good. Although the bed is small, it's very comfortable to sleep on. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. If I had to mention a downside, it's that the hotel is a bit old, and the carpets in the hallways feel a bit worn and dirty.

The location is super convenient! A ten-minute walk to the left takes you to Qiulin Company and Fendou Food Store, and another ten minutes gets you to the Provincial Museum. To the right, there are many snack bars and BBQ stalls, and if you keep walking, you'll reach the Church of the Intercession. It's also a short taxi or subway ride to Central Street or the riverside. Out of all the hotels I stayed at during my 10-day trip to Harbin, this one had the most convenient transportation. It seems they host a lot of group bookings, as there were always guests waiting to check in at the front desk every day. So, available rooms might be limited and you should book quickly. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, very patient and meticulous, and even assisted me with contacting a courier (੭ •_•)📦

The hotel has a great location, right outside Exit 2 of Metro Line 2 (Workers' Cultural Palace Station), making it very convenient to get to Central Avenue (Zhongyang Street), the morning market, and St. Sophia Cathedral. Parking is free with plenty of spaces, making it ideal for road trips. I left some meat sausages in the fridge when I checked out and only realized it after arriving in Beijing. I called the front desk, and they found them completely intact and arranged for cash-on-delivery shipping. Thumbs up for their honesty and service! Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, the lobby is grand. Combined with the reasonable price during the peak National Day holiday, its unbeatable geographical advantage, and good service, it is definitely worth recommending.

Our stay at this new hotel was fantastic! The room was super spacious, perfect for two adults and a child. They even set up a sofa bed for us, so everyone had their own bed. Having a bathtub was a huge plus – after a day of digging for shells, a hot soak was incredibly relaxing for the little one. Our room on the 15th floor offered amazing views from the large window, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet night's sleep. The self-service laundry was convenient, and my child thoroughly enjoyed the gym. The wontons at breakfast were delicious, and they even added beef! While the selection wasn't as vast as a Hilton, the quality of ingredients was outstanding. We especially loved the healthy salads with kale. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right in the city center. It's only a 10-minute walk to Qinhuang Alley, and a short taxi ride to Xigang Garden, Jinmeng Coast, and Qianshuiwan. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Qinhuangdao!

Great experience at Fairfield! The room was clean, tidy, and free of any odd smells. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the check-in process was efficient. The breakfast offered a great variety of Chinese and Western options, which were nutritious and well-balanced. The location is convenient with complete surrounding amenities, making it ideal for both business trips and leisure vacations. High value for money and highly recommended!

I liked how easy it was to book the hotel online. And even when our last flight got canceled and we missed getting checked in we were able to call and make sure they checked us in so we wouldn’t lose the rest of our nights that we had booked. Then we wanted to stay an extra three nights, and they accommodated that with no problem at all. The service was great, the rooms were very nice and the food was excellent. I would recommend

The hotel is located about 30 km from the city center. If you want to sleep peacefully and relax, this hotel is the best option. The hotel is located near art parks, museums, and centers. The service is excellent; the receptionists are very helpful and kind, and will help you with anything. There are two shops nearby, but the eateries close early.

Everything about the hotel – its environment, location, and facilities – was great, except for one thing: the front desk service was incredibly inconsistent. I stayed for three consecutive nights, and the attitude of the staff member who checked me in every afternoon and evening was frankly unpleasant. When I asked not to be given a room at the end of the corridor, the front desk person looked annoyed and told me in a stiff, self-righteous tone: 'Our hotel doesn't have a concept of 'end rooms'! These are the only rooms left anyway, so you decide.' I had no choice but to take an end room. The next day, I paid extra to switch to a better-located room. On the third day, it was the same front desk person again. Even though I had selected 'no end room' when booking online, I didn't say anything extra during check-in, and sure enough, I was given another end room. Since I was with my child, I didn't want to argue and just accepted it, but the more I thought about it, the more annoyed I felt. However, the other staff member who checked me out every morning had an excellent attitude, which made me really conflicted about how to rate this hotel. In the end, I decided to be honest, hoping this feedback can serve as a warning to others.
