What touched me even more was that the night before, because of the rain, I casually mentioned, 'It's so cold in Northeast China, my hands are frozen stiff.' The next morning, the housekeeping auntie quietly left a bunch of heat patches by my door with a note: 'It's cold, stay warm.' The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent. The breakfast featured authentic Northeastern dishes, both comforting and delicious. From check-in to check-out, the staff were consistently smiling and patient, proactively helping with luggage, calling taxis, and recommending local food. When you're constantly on the go, this kind of thoughtful warmth is truly invaluable. Mercure isn't just a hotel; it feels more like a temporary home. Next time I'm in Harbin, I will definitely stay here again and recommend this warmth to all my friends.

Positives: The rooms are really cool and different from any other hotel we've stayed at in China. The location was great. It was a short walk to a metro station and had a great mall (Wanda Plaza) within walking distance. Cons: The hotel was noisy. We could hear our neighbors talking, we could hear the sound of light switches being switched on and off constantly. People in the hallway were noisy. This isn't necessarily the hotels fault, but the noise insulation between rooms is not the best, so if you are a light sleeper (like me) then pack in some earplugs. The mattress was also not the best - every time my partner moved, It woke me up.

The environment is great, and the room has a giant screen projector with clear picture quality and immersive sound effects—perfect for watching movies while lying down! The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the blackout effect is excellent, so you can enjoy movies and sleep comfortably at the same time. The location is close to a shopping district, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, and they even recommend popular movies. Overall, a fantastic experience—a true gem for movie buffs!
