Rixos Hotels in Hurghada

I'd still recommend against this place for Chinese tourists. First, the prices are high, the service is average, and the hotel is mostly populated by Russians. While there are plenty of restaurants—six in total—reservations are impossible to get. I stayed two nights, and every restaurant was full, forcing me to eat at the buffet. However, there weren't many people dining there. I think it's a hotel gimmick. They say you can choose from a variety of restaurants, but none were available. I complained to the front desk, paying for three meals, but nothing was available. They had no choice but to book me one night at People's, the Italian restaurant. However, there were actually very few people dining that night, with many tables empty. The pre-prepared dishes were also quite unpalatable. The hotel is so large, and the service isn't up to par. All services are centralized on a website, similar to a mini-app. I find it less convenient to call, something I'm sure most Chinese people wouldn't be used to. Also, all the bars are free, and reservations aren't required. The cocktails are truly terrible, and the bartenders are incredibly incompetent. I insisted on trying three, and none of them were good. But let's be honest. Their strawberry juice is truly delicious. I always go in and down three glasses straight away; it's the authentic flavor. I booked a pool villa, but the location we were given was just average. From inside, there was no view of the ocean. Chinese people definitely don't get the best views. Also, the pool wasn't private; it was shared by about five or six other rooms, which I wasn't expecting. Throughout the entire stay, no staff member asked if we needed any help. We had to fend for ourselves. I felt the price was completely disproportionate to the service we received. Honestly, I don't recommend staying here.

This is my second visit to Rixos magawesh , one of the greatest resorts in red sea , my first visit was in 2022 and now after 4 years, I can say the amenities became more enjoyable, great landscapes all over the resort , spacious rooms and suites. The beach is so nice , the pools are great but needs more activities .. the food quality is good , Dinner is perfect but breakfast could be better .. the only thing I don’t like about the place is the standard of service not the standards I used to with Rixos group , is Rixos premium seagate in sharm was perfect but here I felt with the new expansion in magawesh , the guests are too much for the capacity of the place and the staff .. shuttle bus waiting time was annoying and needs to be improved. Over all it was a good vacation , and this resort with some care to service quality could be the best resort on the red sea .
