Johor Bahru Hotels with Gym

We had a little staycation over at KSL Hotel & Resort. The room was big enough to accommodate 4 of us and there are many amenities surrounding the hotel. Check in was fast no doubt there are many customers and check out was a breeze. The setback is the lift to the car park. It takes ages to take the lift as the other lift was not working. Please look into the car park lift. Overall we are happy. Thank you.

A two-day, one-night business trip to Johor Bahru requires a conveniently located hotel with reasonable rates and a variety of nearby dining options. The hotel should provide a comfortable and uncomplicated stay, with friendly and helpful front desk staff. While the standard rooms may be sufficient for most travellers, those planning to host small gatherings with friends or colleagues may want to consider upgrading to a larger room.

It's our 5th time over here in our favourite hotel in Johor Bahru. We simply just lurve to do StayCation over here in Amari, Johor Bahru. Everything was okay and smooth except for the toilet flush which operates on a slow mode. We are definitely being patient on the usage as most of the time as we are always outside. Lurve and missing out the breakfast as it has been 3 months since our last stay over here. Both my mum and myself are definitely enjoying ourselves and we are looking forward to be back over here for our next StayCation in Johor Bahru once again. The hotel is in a great location and offers plenty of space, but overall, the experience was mixed. While the room was large and comfortable, the cleanliness of the linens was disappointing. The bed sheets and towels were no longer white and had an unpleasant smell, which detracted from the stay. Additionally, the hotel’s size made it hard to understand the purpose of some of the areas, leaving parts of the property feeling underutilized. With a bit more attention to detail, especially regarding cleanliness, the hotel could provide a much better experience.

I recently enjoyed a delightful 3-day, 2-night stay at the DoubleTree Hotel in one of their suites, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! From the moment I stepped in, the front desk team greeted me with warmth and professionalism, making me feel right at home. The lounge was a real treat, offering a delicious array of breakfast options, tempting snacks throughout the day, and delightful evening canapés that added a touch of luxury to my stay. The suite I booked was incredibly spacious, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. However, there was one small hiccup—the room had a bit of a musty, mouldy smell when I first walked in. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but it was noticeable. All in all, I had a great time and appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. With just a little tweak to the room’s freshness, it would have been flawless!

One of the really nice hotel around the area. Impressive environment, friendly staff , clean and comfy bed with good access to food and located at the central of city even. I had some stuff going on and ask for some room check out extension. The staff was even kind enough to gave me some tolerance and extension. Thanks so much again. Will definitely come again in the future.

Convenient location near to KSL mall and nearby eateries and massage. Room is clean but toilet looks old and dated. Air-conditioning is weak. Room is near the lift and so slightly noiser with the 'Ding' sound when guests used the lift in the middle of the night and early morning. Overall good price, decent hotel and good location.

Hotel Location is great especially near the famous Dim sum restaurant and KsL. Room shows aging conditions and bath tub have misty smell. Not so clean. Keep to be improved. Service is good especially the bell boy. Always open the door and guest with luggage.

Swift check-in process Hazwani/Diana attended to me and present the key card. Room has no fridge. Only x1 plug/socket to charge my electronic device. Do bring your own power bank for hp to be recharged. No complimentary mineral bottles. Jaya Grocer is just opposite via RF mall, went there to buy, wide choices available in store. Toothbrush and toilet amenities provided. Washroom very spacious and clean. Had breakfast at RF mall since there's quite few new food stalls : Chicken Rice Xpress / Pizza/ All things Fried Loveeeee the location as it's nice to be away from the crazy chaos of human traffic at JBCC/KOMTAR Had my 40th Bday feast at Todak Seafood Restaurant 😋 Highly recommend !

Very nice sea view from the room, bath tub water flow abit slow and not hot, night time was a go walk along the seaside. Hotel built up was like a cruise. Nearby got KTV. Will consider revisit again in the future.
