I really nice spacious room, we stayed in 307, which is a one-bed room apartment, please note there are smaller rooms. this is really good if you are staying for a few days, large living room with an induction cooker, toaster, microwave, and fridge. They also included plates and bowls. for cooking equipment and glassware, you will need to contact housekeeping, i stayed only 2 nights so i didn't bother. one big pet peeve was that the dish provided was too big for the microwave, so please heat up your food in the containers before plating them. Both the microwave and fridge worked well, it made ice in around 2 to 3 hours. the shower was great, with constant temperature and good water pressure. the bedroom lacked a TV only the TV was in the living room, so that was a bummer, the room was also a bit noisy as i think there is a family of birds living in the air-con compressor so if you are a light sleeper, you want to give this a miss. The road outside can also get noisy at all hours. The nightlife is interesting, with quite a few bars and restaurants, and lots of motorized scooter rental stores, this does have quite a big issue with me, with alot of teens and kids zooming up and down the harbor at night, it does get dangerous for families with smaller kids. The selling point of this place is its proximity to Legoland, unfortunately, it is a tad hard to get a Grabcar (a rideshare service like Uber) because at the moment the area is not as busy as it was pre-covid. i see families waiting 30mins to an hour to get a car. If you drive, there is an underground carpark (complimentary). The most disappointing was the breakfast, not enough food, and they were unable to cope with the number of people. they struggled to fill coffee pots, juice dispensers, cut fruits, and bread. once something came out, it was gone in minutes. Overall, I would recommend this place for families, just skip the breakfast and make something in the room.

I recently stayed at Hotel KSL in Johor Bahru and had a wonderful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment at the attached mall. Overall, Hotel KSL is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers, offering great value for money. Highly recommended!

The check in was slightly early around 230pm. Was given 15 floor and the room was clean just the that the shower knobs need to replace. The breakfast was good. Hope to return again……

Excellent hotel to stay in. I guess the hotel just newly renovated but the air conditioning in the room a bit old and not well maintained. The air conditioning too cold at night even though we set up 27 degrees celcius. The surface of the air conditioning was frozen. Breakfast wise very good. The quality was excellent. You will have warm croissants and warm danish pastries. Come with local dishes as well. All the staff starting from the front desk staff, the parking guard, the F&B teams was friendly. Overall stay was pretty good.

It's our 5th time over here in our favourite hotel in Johor Bahru. We simply just lurve to do StayCation over here in Amari, Johor Bahru. Everything was okay and smooth except for the toilet flush which operates on a slow mode. We are definitely being patient on the usage as most of the time as we are always outside. Lurve and missing out the breakfast as it has been 3 months since our last stay over here. Both my mum and myself are definitely enjoying ourselves and we are looking forward to be back over here for our next StayCation in Johor Bahru once again. One of the really nice hotel around the area. Impressive environment, friendly staff , clean and comfy bed with good access to food and located at the central of city even. I had some stuff going on and ask for some room check out extension. The staff was even kind enough to gave me some tolerance and extension. Thanks so much again. Will definitely come again in the future.

Love the people at the front desk, they are always so happy and friendly. Check-in took a bit longer than usual but the staff were very apologetic. I stayed in the Urban room at level 12 facing the highway and river. To my surprise it was rather quiet I can’t really hear the traffic. Morning breakfast at level 6 was pretty crowded. The next morning I just went down earlier and it was great. The girls at breakfast were always happy to welcome us… keep it up 👍

This hotel is 4 star very near to s’pore city & the hotels surrornded with many restaurants & club & pubs Osm . Dont miss out to Go to NZ Spa which is located at facility flr level 7 . Its sauna , body Massage & jacussi is super good open till morning from evening to 5 am the rate fir this spa is reasonable rate & can pay via cash or online payment . The Front desk officer is very friendly too . I really enjoy staying in this hotel but only think the swimming pool area now is closed due to Maintenance work . The Gym & NZ spa facilities is a available . Great trip & i really enjoy staying here & spend my weekends .

We just came back from a weekend birthday staycation. Our stay at Renaissance Hotel was a very comfortable one and the staff were extremely thoughtful to prepare a surprise setup in our room - complete with balloons, a printed birthday message with even little heart shapes, as well as a tasty slice of birthday cake and handwritten card! We were very touched by this gesture; thank you so much! Their breakfast buffet was also better than expected - great variety and good taste!
