My hubby and I stayed here for 7 nights on 23 May. This hotel is the best we’ve stayed in when in NYC. The location is great. It’s only a 10 min walk to Grand Central, Summit and Macy’s and very close to many other attractions. The hotel has been renovated and is very modern. The. Lobby and Bar are great social areas. Our room 1501 was exactly as shown on websites for a premium room and was spacious. Rooms don’t seem to have drawers which is a little odd as it makes storage of smaller items difficult but certainly didn’t cause an issue or distract from the fabulous room. Although near the lift and overlooking 38th Street room was extremely quiet and we always got a good nights sleep. Bathroom was spacious too. Room and bathroom were extremely clean and daily housekeeping provided an excellent service. We’d want to stay in this room again on our next visit if it’s available. All the staff at.the hotel were friendly and helpful. We didn’t have much cause to request anything as everything was good anyway but with a couple of minor queries Simon and his team were extremely efficient. Prior to our stay I did have a query and Alvaro the assistant general manager dealt with this extremely efficiently and endured are needs were met. We cannot fault this hotel in any way and would recommend staying here. Thank you to all at the hotel for such a wonderful stay !

I read a lot of comments and chose this hotel. I really didn't choose the wrong one. The location is very good, whether it is a long-distance bus or subway, or take the airport bus to the airport, or want to go to the Grand Central Railway Station, very close. . . There is also Times Square. . . At the intersection of 41st Street and Madison Avenue, the door is small, mainly the name on the door is written in a special font, which made us not notice when we first went there. 200 meters away from the New York City Public Library, which is not 200 meters away from Fifth Avenue, it is not necessary. There are three types of rooms in the hotel, which are about 19, 25, and 33 square meters, and 19 is relatively small. I booked 25 for the second night, but the order information sent by Ctrip to the hotel was wrong. The first night I checked in was the 19 room. It was very late to react. The size of the room was wrong. I coordinated with the front desk and Ctrip. Ctrip immediately found the problem and made compensation, and moved to the largest room of 33 the next day. If it is a single person, the room of 19 is enough. For two people, the baggage can't be opened, and it can only be put to the bedside. In addition, in particular, after the store, the hotel charges a fee of 20 US dollars per day. This fee is breakfast, all-day coffee snacks, afternoon tea, which is very worthwhile. Especially afternoon tea, with cheese, fruit, a variety of small snacks, red and white wine and champagne. . . . In addition, this location is on 41st Street, when the 99th Street in Central Park in New York is basically a full 2km. I ran in the morning and ran another 10km in Central Park. I am very happy. Central Park is a must-see for everyone who loves sports. Running, cycling, and dog-walking are all very good. . .

Great location. But the service standards absolutely disappointed. In room telephone was not working and despite repeated complaints it was not repaired through my stay of 4 nights. So basically we had to go down all the way to reception every time we wanted something at the room. From toiletries to food to water. Even the front desk as well as the duty manager simply expressed inability to do anything about it Initially even some of the lights in the room were not working. Clearly one of the worst stays of my life at a big brand hotel All in all a big disappointment

Great boutique hotel nestled in the busy streets of New York. Right off of Madison Avenue, you're incredibly close to anything and everything there is to experience in the city. The hotel itself was amazing. The rooms are modern and unique. The whole ambience is breathtaking as soon as you walk in the front door. The lobby and hallways have cool artwork on the walls, playing into the Shakespearian vibe. Even though the restaurant/bar was closed, it didn't take away from the experience at all. We will certainly return to try them out in the future. Let's talk staff. We dealt with 3 employees during our stay, and unfortunately I only got one of their names. Rafael was incredibly professional, a true standard of hospitality. Everyone else was just as great, extending us a late check-out and holding our bags as we walked around the city for the day. Overall, we will be returning this beautiful hotel for our next trip to New York, and definitely recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and memorable stay.

Had been in touch with hotel before travelling to find out about COVID testing venues and staff member, Mark Speranza went beyond all expectations to assist me. Check in was smooth and staff friendly. Our room was at the front on the first floor and was very comfortable with two large beds and an impressive shower in the bathroom. Could have done with a better shelf in bathroom to store our toiletries bag. The room was really comfortable but unfortunately there was some building work in a nearby building which seemed to go on very late so disturbed our sleep, but it was beyond the control,of the hotel. The location is really convenient- easy walk to Grand Central Station, bus stops , or walking to Times Square. We would definitely stay here again if we were back in New York.

The location is OK, the price will fluctuate relatively large, but the terrace scenery is OK, not as big as expected, you can see the Empire State Building, the room is clean, the sound is OK
