Four Points Flex Hotels in Osaka

This hotel is super conveniently located near the business district and the main bus terminal. The lobby is spacious, bright, and stylish. The service staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast isn't your typical buffet; instead, they offer a few set menu options. Even if you haven't booked breakfast, you can pay at the front desk for the same price to enjoy it.

This hotel made my stay in Osaka feel incredibly warm and comfortable. The rooms are clean and bright, and they offer complimentary clear umbrellas in the lobby when it rains. The service is top-notch and the management is excellent. The room amenities are comprehensive, not outdated, and the ventilation is good. I've been to Japan a few times and stayed at other hotels in Osaka. Some hotels I'd happily choose a second time. Last year, I stayed at a particular hotel (no need to name names here, but if you're curious, you can find my 1000-word review for it). Every time I asked that hotel for tissues, the front desk staff would emphasize that I couldn't get a new pack every day! After being told two or three times, I got annoyed and spoke to the manager. One male staff member even told me I wasn't allowed to take them out of the hotel, claiming it was hotel policy! He actually scoffed right in front of me! I asked him, ”What are you laughing at? That you can't explain yourself clearly?” I've never encountered a hotel that wouldn't let me take a few tissues out. Staying at a different hotel this time really highlighted how good their service was, and how badly that other hotel's reputation was damaged! They probably didn't expect a sequel review for their hotel during this year's cherry blossom season! This happened during the autumn foliage season last November. I booked 9 nights at that hotel and didn't request daily housekeeping, so my room wasn't restocked with new tissues. The front desk told me I had to go to the reception to get them, and when I did, I'd get a lecture! Arguing with the front desk staff two or three times over a pack of tissues made it seem like I'd flown all the way to Japan just to mooch off their hotel's tissues. When I returned home, I wrote a negative review, and they even replied, saying, ”It's an unusual request for me to want an entire pack of tissues!” You can go look at my review. I also complained to the platform, Ctrip, asking why this hotel, which was so unfriendly to us, was featured on their homepage. Ctrip said it was a major local chain. Later, I realized my complaint to Ctrip was ineffective. I asked many local friends how to file a truly effective complaint. At the time, I said that hotel's attitude was 'not friendly.' Sorry, I was wrong. After this trip and the comparison, I feel my previous review was too mild. Today, I'm correcting myself in someone else's hotel review. After comparing, the feeling is discrimination. After multiple stays at various hotels, I absolutely have to use the word 'discrimination.' It's true that there's no harm without a comparison. This cherry blossom season, I stayed in Tokyo, at Mount Fuji, and in Osaka. I didn't request daily housekeeping. Every day, I went to the front desk for tissues, and not a single hotel treated me like that hotel last year. Especially this Four Points. I only ever asked for one pack of tissues (never more). The front desk would, at most, ask for my room number, then hand me the tissues with a smile. For my 7-day stay, I'd go out during the day and, upon returning to the hotel in the evening, pick up packet amenities from the lobby and ask for a pack of tissues at the front desk (absolutely never more). There's a coffee machine in the lobby, and I saw many tourists sitting there, drinking coffee and chatting, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Every day I returned to my room happy. Except for the day when housekeeping restocked everything and I didn't need to ask for tissues, I never once encountered an unfriendly face at the front desk; it was always smiling service, making me feel completely comfortable. This Four Points Express by Sheraton hotel will be my first choice for future trips to Osaka (if the price is right). Who wants to go on vacation and experience being lectured like a child! PS: Oh, and this hotel is not far from Daimaru Department Store, so it's super convenient for shopping, dining, and taking public transport every day. Turn left out of the hotel and walk straight, cross a road, and there's an escalator to catch the train. It's easy and stress-free even with a big suitcase if you're rushing to the airport.
