"Good location, near Namba Station, Dotonburi and Shinsaibashi. 7-11 and Lawson is nearby. Room is rather small but decent for the price. Front desk staff is helpful but not so proficient in English so be prepared to use translation app when communicating with them. Only 1 downside - coin laundry is not available. Overall a pleasant stay."

YYuexin IrisBefore my trip, I was torn between the InterContinental, W Hotel, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and The Park Hyatt, but I ended up choosing the InterContinental, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel upgraded my room, and both the view and the size were fantastic. The hotel's location is impeccable, right above Grand Front Osaka. Stepping out, you're immediately surrounded by major shopping malls like Hankyu, Daimaru, Yodobashi Camera, Lucua, and Lucua 1100, all connected by walkways. From gourmet food to shopping and trendy brands, it was incredibly convenient. Having such a spacious room in Japan is a rarity. Our upgraded room must have been nearly 100 square meters – incredibly roomy and practical, complete with an oven, induction cooktop, and a double-door refrigerator. The bathroom featured a bathtub and Byredo amenities; a soak with the hotel-provided bath salts instantly melted away the day's fatigue. The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of choices, including Japanese cold dishes, Oden, and Western desserts, all with meticulous attention to detail. From the concierge to the front desk, every staff member demonstrated professionalism. At check-out, they even proactively helped load our luggage into the car and confirmed the address with the driver in Japanese. Plus, there were many staff members who spoke Chinese. The only minor drawback was a noticeable smell of disinfectant when returning to the room each day, but it didn't detract from the overall experience at all. Whether it's for shopping, comfort, or service details, this hotel will definitely be my choice again on my next visit to Osaka!

JJOYING121My friends and I came to Japan for National Day, and we specifically chose to stay in a five-star hotel for a day. This place had good reviews, and it looked like it had a great view directly facing Osaka Castle. When we arrived, it was evening. At the lobby, they took all our luggage. We just had to go upstairs to check in. The staff brought our luggage directly to our room. The front desk needed passports for everyone and a deposit. I heard that credit card refunds can be slow, so I opted for a cash deposit. The accommodation tax was directly deducted the next day. The room was really spacious! And since there were three of us, the hotel set up a third bed by the window. The capsule coffee in the mini-bar was free, but there was a price list for everything else. There was a surprising amount of water in the room. The bathroom was huge, with separate wet and dry areas, and a large bathtub. They provided three bathrobes and even separate spring/summer pajamas in the drawer. The shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner all smelled lovely. We also made sure to check out the gym. One of my friends woke up early the next day to work out (so dedicated!). You need your room key card to enter the gym. It was very clean, had a good selection of equipment, and even complimentary fruit. The swimming pool seemed to require reservations, and since we didn't bring swimsuits, we didn't go. For breakfast the next day, you just give your room number and then there's a menu to order from, with both Western and Chinese options. I ordered fried eggs with sausage, and my friend had the Japanese set. Other items like bread, pastries, coffee, and yogurt were self-service, but I thought the taste was just average. Oh! One thing I thought was really great was that my friend got her period and stained the bedding. When we checked out, I asked the front desk if there would be a cleaning fee, and they said it was absolutely fine! That was really good. Plus, they even had a Chinese-speaking front desk staff, so communication was seamless.

XXiaoxiaoxiaoxiaolaotouThe hotel's location is convenient, about 1km from the commercial center's Daimaru and Hankyu department stores, and around 600m from the subway station. The room facilities are well-maintained, and the staff are enthusiastic. Breakfast is well-organized with orderly queuing, though the variety of dishes is just average.

__cangyueI've always loved the style of W Hotels, and choosing the W Osaka this time was definitely the right decision. **Facilities:** The facilities are comprehensive, truly befitting a five-star hotel. The breakfast was also delicious, and the gym, swimming pool, and other amenities were all fully equipped. **Cleanliness:** Spotless, no complaints there. **Environment:** The 'nightclub' vibe of the environment is fantastic! There are also many great places to eat nearby. I highly recommend the Blue Bottle Coffee downstairs. It's also very close to Shinsaibashi and Namba, basically within walking distance. The subway is convenient too, and Daimaru is just across the street diagonally, making shopping very easy. **Service:** Everyone was very enthusiastic, and most staff offered Chinese language service. English communication was also not an issue. I will definitely choose W Hotels in other locations in the future.

LLizzie_8181Excellent location above Osaka Takashimaya, linked to Namba Station directly by lift. Getting to the hotel was abit confusing using google maps until we figured it out. Overall their location makes for ease of shopping & convenient offload the bags in the hotel room. The check in desk was very professional & the bath tub was European size (we booked twin beds). Of the 3 hotels that we booked in Osaka (&Here Namba, Universal Port Vita, Swissotel), Swissotel was the only hotel that could read & execute our consistent requests to push the twin beds together so our toddler could sleep in the middle. Thumbs up for their professionalism. There was also a pair of kid slippers laid out for our kid. There is a friendly hotel bar (free entry, subject to opening hours in afternoon) on level 9 that allows one to play retro video games like Mario & board games etc. Our kid throughly enjoyed their hotel bar games. As Swissôtel is a business hotel, there is no water pitcher in the room & no ice dispenser room. The toilet is a combined one-room facility. However, the rooms are quiet, the water pressure is great & everyone slept really well. Thanks Swissotel

MmendongmeiDormy Inn is always a top choice for us when we travel to Japan. Practically every time we visit, we first check the location and prices of Dormy Inn hotels. We've stayed at this specific hotel and its chain many times. The hotel offers smoking rooms, microwaves, ice machines, a laundry room, and natural hot springs. On the first floor, there's a beverage bar where you can help yourself to coffee, matcha, and chocolate drinks. Toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and combs are also readily available. You can pack light when traveling here; the hotel truly takes care of guests' needs very well. The complimentary soy sauce ramen served from 9:30 PM to 11 PM is also quite tasty; they don't skimp on quality just because it's free, it's consistently good. We'll definitely prioritize staying at this hotel again on our future trips to Japan.

AAnonymous UserThe room was quite spacious, as advertised online. However, the sofa by the window sill didn't appear very clean under the lighting. The hotel offers a public bath and is conveniently located near Universal Studios. It was promoted as being the closest to the subway station, and one of the slightly more distant options from Universal itself. But in practice, all the hotels in this area are just a short walk from one another. With restaurants, 7-Eleven, Lawson, and Starbucks nearby, it's very convenient. The best part about staying near Universal is being able to enjoy the park until its 10 PM closing time, then grab a late dinner nearby before heading back to the hotel to unwind.

AAoniguiguiThe location is truly exceptional. Step right out, and you're practically in Umeda, Osaka's prime shopping area. Major department stores like Daimaru and Lucua 1100 are just a 5-8 minute walk away, offering a vast selection of brands and convenient in-store tax refunds. JR train access is also excellent; Universal Studios is less than 20 minutes away with a super convenient same-platform transfer. The airport limousine bus stop is also just a 3-minute walk, making airport transfers incredibly easy. The hotel was clean, and the service was attentive. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

AAmanzhol YestekovLocals don’t usually come here to sleep — they come to wash, relax, and go through the full spa ritual. There are three types of steam rooms, a circular shower, and three baths: two hot ones at around 41°C, and one cold shock bath at around 11°C. You dip in and instantly feel alive. One unique feature — every hour they run a group steam ritual, like a collective massage & heat therapy session. Very Japanese, and surprisingly affordable. Definitely worth trying. There’s also an inexpensive breakfast option, plus vending machines with food and drinks right inside — very convenient. Overall, it’s a men-only vibe: arrive, clean up, relax, reset, and go about your day. The capsule is just a bonus on top of the sauna experience. They give you clothing — not a robe, but loose Japanese pants and an oversized T-shirt. You get your own locker, bedding and clothes are changed daily, and the bathrooms have literally everything: toothbrush, toothpaste, gels, shampoo… even nail clippers. You don’t need to bring anything. Location is fantastic — right next to Dotonbori. Step outside and you’re instantly in the heart of Osaka’s nightlife and energy. Downsides? A strict checkout — you must leave at 10:00 AM, and check-in starts only after 3:00 PM. If you want to stay during that gap, it’s around 300 yen per hour, or ~900 yen for the day. Still — great experience. I always wanted to try a real Japanese capsule stay. Inside the capsule there’s a TV, radio, adjustable lights, and AC — though it blasts pretty strongly, so I turned it off.

KKyriI stayed here to participate in an event at Intex Osaka. I think it's better to think of this hotel as a training facility or simple accommodation rather than a general hotel. About check-in There is a long wait time for late night check-ins because only one staff member is handling them. I had sent my luggage to the hotel in advance, but the staff did not inform me at check-in, so after going to my room, I had to go back to the front desk to check. After waiting in line for quite a while, I asked about my luggage and was told that it had not arrived, which was a bit of a problem, but they eventually found it. Since I had told them that I would be sending my luggage when I made the reservation, I wish they had handled it a little more smoothly. However, considering the low price and the fact that only one staff member was handling the situation, I thought that it was somewhat unavoidable. About the large public bath I stayed here because I was attracted by the fact that there was a large public bath, but the changing room was small and it was very noisy because it was often used by students staying at the hotel. There were four hairdryers installed at the sink, but one was broken and a student had been using it for a long time (about 20-30 minutes because it was in use the whole time I was taking a bath?), so it took a while for me to get a turn. Also, the open-air bath was very lukewarm, probably because it was after 11:00 p.m., and it was difficult to get in due to the cold wave. The indoor baths were at a comfortable temperature, but both were only large enough for 5-6 people, so it was difficult to stretch your legs when it was crowded. Since it was a circulating bath rather than a hot spring, I washed my body again after bathing. About the rooms I forgot to take a photo of the room, but it was relatively new, and although it was small, it seemed clean. The unit bath was spacious and comfortable, but if two people stayed in a double bed room, the passage was so narrow that it was difficult for one person to go to the toilet if the other person was using the desk. Overall review I mentioned some harsh points, but as I mentioned at the beginning, for this location and service at this price, it is well worth it. I would definitely use it again if I have the opportunity.
