Exceeded my expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, equipped with a washer/dryer, microwave, fridge, kitchenware, dining table, and even a desk. It's perfect for families traveling with kids, catering to everyone's needs. Daily cleaning was impeccable; the window glass was wiped clean every day, free of fingerprints or water marks, offering beautiful views outside. The bedding was comfortable, the AC didn't blow directly on my face, the shower water was great, and it was perfectly soundproof with no noise, so I slept very well. The location is convenient, surrounded by various malls, bus stops, and convenience stores. The hotel's swimming pool is also kid-friendly. I'd definitely choose InterContinental and this room type again on my next visit!

I absolutely love this hotel! It's a newly opened hotel, and the staff are incredibly enthusiastic. They allowed us to check in early and even arranged for our two rooms to be next to each other, which was a very thoughtful touch. The room tour was very detailed, and the room design blends modern aesthetics with Japanese elements – the tatami by the window is a fantastic feature. The hotel is located north of Osaka Castle. If you choose an Osaka Castle view room, you can directly see the castle, with the main keep clearly visible and directly facing you. We stayed on the 7th floor this time, and it felt like we had a perfect eye-level view. To the west of the hotel are the Osaka Museum of History and Naniwa Palace Site Park. There's also a subway station nearby, and a line of taxis waiting at the entrance, making getting around very convenient. To reach the rooms, you need to go to the 20th-floor lobby first, then transfer to another elevator to go down to your room (there's also a slightly more convenient route through the 4th-floor gym). On the first floor of the hotel, there's a popular patisserie that attracts many local women. The hotel breakfast is a combination of buffet and à la carte options. The à la carte menu includes excellent Chinese, Western, and Japanese specialties. There are always several taxis waiting at the hotel entrance, so it's very convenient if you need to take a cab.

Stepping into this hotel felt like going back in time to The Great Gatsby. It's probably the most luxurious hotel I've stayed at in Osaka. They really made good use of the public spaces, and the Peacock Alley is simply stunning – I could admire it all day. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, which made communication quite easy. Contrary to what I read online, the standard room was perfectly fine. I was given a high floor, and the room was spacious, well-divided, with plenty of space for luggage. The twin room had two queen-sized beds (1.5 meters each), making it very family-friendly. The downsides were the low water pressure in the bathroom and the water not getting hot enough. They provided Aesop amenities, and the ginger scent was lovely. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. It was semi-buffet style with limited variety, and the main courses were quite uninspired, not really matching the room rate. I do recommend the French toast among the main dishes, it was excellent. The biggest issue was the long queues, which really detracted from the experience. The hotel's location is quite good. Directly downstairs is Green Place with a wide variety of dining options, and Ushigoro is on the third floor. You can walk to department stores like Hanshin, but taking a taxi is more convenient for Hankyu.

From the high-ceilinged lobby and wooden decor to the warm lighting and large floral arrangements, it has a distinct 'old money' feel reminiscent of the Showa era. Many new hotels nowadays aim for minimalist or influencer-friendly aesthetics, but the Imperial Hotel Osaka has maintained its unique and recognizable 'Showa elegance'. Even casual photos in the lobby at night turn out beautifully. **🛁 Surprisingly Great Bathroom:** The bathroom was an unexpected bonus! The bathtub is generously sized, and the water pressure is excellent. What's more, both the room and bathroom have the option to play classical music. After walking 10,000-20,000 steps during the day, a relaxing bath here is pure bliss. Listening to classical music while bathing, combined with the hotel's old-world ambiance, strangely creates a strong sense of ritual. This small detail actually became one of my most memorable aspects of the hotel. **💁 Professional Service:** The staff are generally well-trained, polite, and discreet. You can tell they come from a long tradition of five-star hospitality. From the front desk to the concierge, everyone was professional and friendly. Although we didn't encounter any Chinese-speaking staff, English communication was generally smooth. **🚌 Free Shuttle to Osaka Station:** The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle bus to and from Osaka Station, running approximately every 20 minutes from 10 AM to 10 PM during our stay. This significantly compensates for the hotel's slightly distant location from the train station. While the nearest JR Sakuranomiya Station still requires crossing a bridge and a bit of a walk, which might be inconvenient if you have heavy luggage or prioritize direct access to a station, the shuttle largely mitigates the public transport issue. It covers most normal travel times from morning to night, but I'd recommend checking the latest timetable on the day of your check-in. **Location:** The hotel isn't in Osaka's busiest area, offering a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle, which is perfect for a good rest. There's a convenience store nearby and a small shopping arcade connected to the hotel, though dining options are not extensive. **Overall Impression:** I believe the Imperial Hotel Osaka is particularly well-suited for family trips, traveling with parents, or anyone who prioritizes room spaciousness, quietness, and quality service over being directly above a bustling commercial district.

Facilities: The classic quality of a long-standing luxury brand. Hygiene: Impeccable, as expected in Japan. Environment: Right above the railway station. Service: First-class service quality! Surrounded by amazing food options! An indispensable choice when in Umeda! However, it's a bit pricey and the rooms are a bit small.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve stayed here. This might just be my favorite hotel in the world. It’s true, it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. But once you pass through the entrance tunnel, you’re transported to another world, even though you’re still in Osaka. This time, I was on a blue floor. Despite the heat outside, it felt like the temperature dropped by 5°C. The elevator was neon pink. I was greeted with a warm “Welcome back.” And I replied, “I’m home.” I was on the top floor, the 27th, on the Midosuji side, my favorite pink floor. Odd-numbered floors are pink, even-numbered are blue. Soon after, Jack brought my luggage. As always, he pulled my stopper from his breast pocket. Thank you. “Midosuji is all mine!” I declared, and then it was bath time. I headed to WET on the 4th floor. I read a book by the poolside, then soaked in the jacuzzi, repeating the cycle. Later, I had a French 75 at LIVING ROOM, served by Mr. Yajima. The Mexican dish I often order had been slightly revamped and was even more delicious. Back in my room, it was bath time again. Oh? Extra towels, bath salts, skincare, and a chair! Ah, I remember mentioning it last time. The chair wasn't quite what I had in mind, though. After that, I fell into a deep sleep, so no turndown service this time. Oh! Their laundry service is excellent here. I always have my high-end brand T-shirts cleaned here. It costs almost 10,000 yen locally, which is a bit much. They even managed to remove a stain from a skirt that H Nagoya couldn't get out. It’s not cheap, there’s no lounge, and no gym. But I absolutely love it. Thank you always, see you again.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Candeo Hotel Shinsaibashi! We stayed in the deluxe triple room for our family trip. The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance of Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori, full of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was spot-lessly clean, modern and spacious enough for three people. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Great facilities, convenient transport and excellent value for money. Highly recommended for family travellers, we would definitely book again on our next visit to Osaka.

My stay during this trip was great. The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk to the station, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The room was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were well-maintained. The soundproofing was good, so it was quiet at night, allowing for a good rest. The staff were polite and patient, and communication was smooth. Overall, it offers good value for money, and it's definitely worth staying here when visiting the area.

It's located in Namba which is one of the busiest and exciting neighborhoods in Osaka. Direct train to KIX in the same building is the biggest plus. Dotonbori is only 10 min walk away. We had an amazing sushi dinner a few mins from the hotel. You never get hungry staying there. Front desk staff speak very good English. If you opt out of breakfast, the cafe on 3rd floor facing express train station is an excellent choice for coffee and pastries. A few min walk there an excellent brunch cafe that opens at 8 am. If you arrive by train from Kyoto/Nara, it's a little past to n navigate to the hotel. Just get to the 3rd floor first around Takashimaya. Signage is mucus easier from there. Rooms are spacious. We picked the renovated room Swiss Select. It's absolutely worth paying a little bit more. I'll definitely stay there again should I be visiting Osaka in the future.

This one just beats all my other stays in Japan, it was seriously that good. The location is near Umeda Station, a super quick three-minute walk, and it was so easy to find amazing local cuisine nearby. The public bath is the absolute MVP here. I was totally not expecting someone with a tattoo on the back like me to be allowed in, but it was fine. My Japanese friend even said, ”Your public bath is way too good to be the one of a hotel, it should be a private public bath.” The quality is superb, and the amenities are fully equipped with everything you have in your own bathroom: hair spray, shampoo, hair conditioner, sponge, razor, nail clipper, nourishing cream, toothbrush, toothpaste and woww a lot. You put heart in every detail. It was my first experience with a Japanese public bath, and it was the best. The staff are super friendly but still uphold guests’ privacy. Having a lot of guests, it was surprisingly enough to sleep. Just one quick recommendation: The hostel requires a daily check-in even when you book consecutive days. For us, it was no problem sorting out and communicating with staffs. But some foreign guests seemed a bit confused by the process. If they could clarify that for non-Japanese speakers better, the place would be beyond perfect! Thanks for the excellent experience!
