Jjoanna0919From the moment I stepped through the hotel entrance, I felt right at home! Every single staff member treated guests with genuine care and attentiveness. The room size was also the biggest I've ever had in all my trips to Japan! The pajamas provided by the turndown service were incredibly comfortable too! The hotel's night view is also one of the best around. Highly, highly recommend!

GGuest UserWe booked this hotel to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect choice! The location is fantastic — it’s directly connected to Shinsaibashi Station via the B2-level underground walkway. There are also endless shopping spots along Shinsaibashi-suji.
The views from our room were absolutely stunning. Everything feels brand new and modern. Highly recommend for a special occasion in Osaka!

GGuest UserAbsolutely top-notch! I'd have to say that while it's incredibly convenient for USJ, other attractions are a tiny bit further out. I'm not giving it a perfect score just so they don't get too proud. Everything else was super, super, super satisfying! The hot springs are fantastic, with an open-air bath. The sauna was incredibly popular and packed, so I was a bit bummed I didn't get to use it. Plus, there's a relaxation area after the hot springs where you can enjoy the night view, which is also great. It's just a shame some couples, for whatever reason, didn't go back to their rooms and hogged the space there 😅. The razors come with soap! And the toothbrush cups are color-coded!!! These little details are truly amazing! They also gave two full-body 'Kyuusoku Jikan' patches. I happened to sprain my lower back that day, and after a hot spring soak, the sprained area got really warm. Luckily, they had these patches – even though they weren't medicated! They truly saved me. The next day, I could move freely and my trip wasn't disrupted at all! The bed was also super comfortable! And from the window, it was even a river view room 🤣. When I left the hotel on the second day, the lobby was changing its flower display to hydrangeas, and it always smelled lovely, not like a cheap air freshener. I seriously can't praise this place enough!!

Especially after a whole day of playing, being able to get back to the hotel in a second almost justified 99% of the room fee. Plus, there's shopping, food, and everything you need downstairs, super handy.

GGuest UserExiting from Umeda Station, the West Exit is closer. This is my second time staying here. This room was a bit smaller, and there wasn't much space for two people's luggage, but it was fine for a one-night stopover. In the afternoon, there's a complimentary afternoon tea with rice crackers, juice, bacon, and sparkling wine. In the evening, you can also enjoy ochazuke. The rooftop hot spring is open until 1 AM.

SsurayabhrdnHad an enjoyable stay here at Mercure! Amenities were complete, housekeeping & receptionists were friendly and able to converse in English which made our stay more pleasant.
Location of the hotel is sooo convenient.
- a 10-min walk from Shinsaibashi/Namba station
- has family mart and donki nearby
- taxi fare from the hotel to Nankai Namba Station (for the airport) was 1,400 won
- all you have to do is cross the main road and you’ll already arrive at Shinsaibashi shopping street!
My luggage was also damaged during my flight to Osaka, so the staff politely helped to handle the disposal of my luggage for free.
The only thing that slightly bothered me was the superrrr dark lighting in the room. There were times I had to use my phone’s flashlight to find things but it was still bearable for me.

Ssusanhe77Highly recommend staying here! First, it's super convenient for getting around. It's just a few minutes' walk from the airport bus stop, and there's a direct underground passage to both the subway and JR stations right from the hotel. Second, even though it's in a bustling area and close to the station, it's surprisingly not noisy. Third, dining is a breeze with restaurants both inside and below the hotel. Shopping is also incredibly convenient, with three shopping malls and electronics stores all within a ten-minute walk.

CChocoAlisonThe location is very convenient, with JR lines directly to the airport and Expo, Osaka Loop Line and Midosuji Line directly to the city center. There is a large 7-11 and a Café de Cabrera downstairs. A five-minute walk will take you to a super large Life supermarket, which sells sashimi, bento, and cooked food. For breakfast, there are a variety of packaged breads, rice balls, drinks and soups, as well as yogurt pudding and yogurt, but you have to go early, as there will be no choice after 8:30. You can take your breakfast back to your room and eat it without taking it out of the hotel. Free umbrellas are provided when it rains. There is no bottled water in the room, only a kettle. Ice can be picked up on the 8th floor. There is coffee and tea bags available for pick-up in the lobby. The hotel only provides shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and skin care product samples need to be purchased for 500 yen. The hygiene is very good. The auntie cleans the room very carefully. She will put everything away and put it back in place, and help fold clothes. There is only one chair in the 4-person room, it would be better if there were one or two more chairs. After 10pm, you need to swipe your room card to enter the hotel, which is quite safe.

GGuest UserThis was my first time choosing this place for a business trip. The location was great, not too far from the station. I picked it because I dislike the noisy and chaotic central tourist areas, and I was ultimately satisfied with my choice. It’s a good place to experience local charm, and it only takes about 15 minutes or less by subway to get to the city center, which I thought was quite reasonable. The facilities were clean and trendy, which I liked. The large communal bath, only big enough for two people, was always crowded and required a wait, but I figured it was better than not having one at all. However, regarding the cleaning service, it would have been better if they had communicated more clearly that requests needed to be made the day before. After two days, I asked for cleaning at the front desk when I was heading out, but it was refused. I think a bit more flexibility in their policy would be beneficial. Anyway, the overall facilities were decent, and I would be willing to stay here again in the future.
