Osaka Hotels with Gym

Stepping into this hotel felt like going back in time to The Great Gatsby. It's probably the most luxurious hotel I've stayed at in Osaka. They really made good use of the public spaces, and the Peacock Alley is simply stunning – I could admire it all day. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, which made communication quite easy. Contrary to what I read online, the standard room was perfectly fine. I was given a high floor, and the room was spacious, well-divided, with plenty of space for luggage. The twin room had two queen-sized beds (1.5 meters each), making it very family-friendly. The downsides were the low water pressure in the bathroom and the water not getting hot enough. They provided Aesop amenities, and the ginger scent was lovely. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. It was semi-buffet style with limited variety, and the main courses were quite uninspired, not really matching the room rate. I do recommend the French toast among the main dishes, it was excellent. The biggest issue was the long queues, which really detracted from the experience. The hotel's location is quite good. Directly downstairs is Green Place with a wide variety of dining options, and Ushigoro is on the third floor. You can walk to department stores like Hanshin, but taking a taxi is more convenient for Hankyu.

The location is fantastic – it's quiet despite being in a bustling area, and not far from Osaka's iconic Glico Man and Shinsaibashi, as long as you can navigate well. Upon entering the hotel, there's a subtle, pleasant aroma that immediately makes you feel comfortable. For Japan, the room size is quite generous; of course, there are bigger ones, but I believe in Japan, the price and room size are definitely proportional to the value for money. The front desk staff, regardless of the time, always served with a smile and answered questions diligently. Yes, I mean diligently – they genuinely put their hearts into serving guests. There was a minor hiccup during check-in, which I didn't even dwell on. I simply mentioned it casually late at night when exchanging coins. To my surprise, when I returned to the hotel the next afternoon after shopping, I found an apology card and some fruit in my room. They truly value guest satisfaction and the quality of their hotel. If I visit Osaka again, this hotel will definitely be my top choice.

• Train noise is a major issue. The nearby railway can seriously affect sleep and overall comfort, especially for light sleepers or guests staying in track-facing rooms. • Room preference is not guaranteed. Even if you request a higher floor or quieter room at check-in, the hotel may not be able to accommodate it. • Sound insulation seems weak. Guest reports mention noise from trains, hallways, and sometimes adjacent rooms, which suggests poor acoustic comfort. • Room allocation can be disappointing. Some guests feel the room they received did not match their expectations for quietness or location. • Service recovery may be limited. When issues arise, the hotel may apologize but not offer a practical solution such as a room change or upgrade. • Overall stay quality can be affected by location trade-offs. The hotel may be convenient, but that convenience comes with noise exposure.

This is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Osaka, and this is my second stay just this year. Unlike my last visit, the lobby beverage menu has changed; I was a bit disappointed that they reduced the selection of their exclusive, favorite plum wine, but there are still plenty of improvements. It's very convenient for staying with a child, and personally, the travel logistics/route are great (right next to Ebisucho Station). The hotel also offers a variety of services that make it enjoyable to use. However, it's always busy with many people and large tour groups, so there are times when it gets quite crowded. Even so, I only stay at this hotel when I come to Osaka. For this trip, I booked in a rush on the same day, so I stayed somewhere nearby for one night first and arrived for an early check-in. They accommodated the early check-in, allowing us to rest for a bit before heading out comfortably. Soaking away the fatigue in the large public bath morning and evening, plus enjoying the coffee, free drinks, alcohol, and Häagen-Dazs ice cream—services that both kids and adults love ^^ Thank you!

The hotel's location is excellent, not far from Osaka Station, making it very convenient to visit Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe. We stayed here for three consecutive nights and enjoyed complimentary coffee, snacks, and chazuke every day. One evening, after returning from Nara around 9 PM, we were too tired to go out for food, so a bowl of chazuke was incredibly comforting. The room was quite spacious, allowing us to open two 26-inch suitcases. There's also a large public bath on the 18th floor, which the kids absolutely loved.

The only good thing bout this hotel is that the location is superb for Osaka castle. But for anything else, it’s quite a distance. So please be mindful if you really want a castle experience or the downtown shopping experience. Spend bit more for the castle view. My river view has noise from the keihan rail trains. The air con in the room takes time to cool and at some point you would think it’s not working. I guess all the famous chain hotels are going to”environmental friendly”. Means u cannot blast the air con to your desired temperature fast. Else, the hotel is like any doubletree standards with Japanese touch. Breakfast was pretty interesting. o

The hotel is very close to Umeda, so much so that I could still squeeze in some sightseeing in the morning before my afternoon flight. The location gets a big thumbs up! 👍🏾👍🏾 Even a standard room offers beautiful city views. 👍🏾👍🏾 However, aside from two bottles of mineral water, no other complimentary drinks were provided. 😶

I stayed here to watch a football match at Yanmar Hanasaka Stadium. The room walls seemed thin, as noise echoed a lot at night, which was a bit bothersome. However, other than that, I had a really comfortable stay thanks to the convenient access, great service, and the large public bath with a sauna. The room was also very clean and excellent. I'd love to stay here again the next time I go to watch a match.

Prime location. Eateries and shopping near hotel. Hotel room lighting is dimmed in comparison to other hotel. The lift and walkway is dimmed. There's no closet in the room however few hangers were provided. The sink is in the room and not in the bathroom.There's a washing machine which has a loud chime, which might disturb your sleep if it was used at night. Check in was fast however I was not informed on the welcome drinks and free amenities during checked in. So it was missed out. There was a picture frame hung on top of one of the bed which i felt that it was inappropriate, and posed as a safety hazard to the one sleeping underneath the picture frame. Another consideration for friends sharing twin room as there was no privacy due to shower area has no hook or shelf to place clothing. So basically have to change out in the room or in the toilet. Room size is good for big luggages for a twin sharing room. Overall, still a good option as the location is fantastic! Clean and quiet rooms too.

The cleanliness is excellent, with the housekeeping staff doing an impeccable job every day. A highlight is the rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city. It’s a perfect spot to relax at the end of the day and take some nice photos of the scenery. The hotel staff is very efficient and helpful, although they don’t speak fluent English. However, they’re always ready to assist and communicate via online translators, which makes interactions easy and pleasant. Another advantage for those traveling by car is the hotel’s automated parking system, which is well-designed and easy to use. This mobile parking system allows stress-free parking and quick access to the car, ideal for those wanting to explore the surrounding areas of Osaka independently. The area offers a few dining options, with restaurants serving tasty food at very reasonable prices. Having a 7-Eleven and Family Mart nearby is also convenient, where you can make small purchases and withdraw cash from ATMs available 24/7—a true plus for travelers. In summary, this is a great choice for anyone looking for comfortable accommodation, well-connected to the city, with all essential services close at hand
