This hotel is 0.5 mi (0.8 km) from Nipponbashi and 2.3 mi (3.6 km) from Dotonbori. Make use of convenient amenities, which include complimentary wireless internet access and a vending machine. Featured amenities include an elevator and a vending machine. Make yourself at home in one of the 10 guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and digital programming is available for your entertainment. Bathrooms have separate bathtubs and showers and hair dryers.

"It's with out Aircon and without fan. Bath only from 5 to 9 pm on a shared bathroom (like with no curtains or anything). Night were too hot without even a fan, the walls were dirty and the window a bit broken. For the same money in the neighborhood you get better places. Is just acceptable and cheap. You get what you pay for. If I was to be back there, I would go with my own fan at least"

Amazing
HHazirahSvtGreat location, nearby familymart and 7eleven. Just in front of Namba OCAT, main terminal (bus, train, JR). There's a halal restaurant. Can walk to Dotonbori and a shopping area. I chose here because the Kansai airport bus also stops at Namba OCAT. I booked a single ”room” and got space to open luggage but you have to remain quiet cause you're sharing sleeping space. I would still recommend the single bed for larger space and private locker. The onsen was great, there's only one shower for women's floor. They have common area for coffee, hot water, microwave.

RRowell SantiagoI recently stayed at Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi during my trip to Osaka, and I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and quality packed into this compact, capsule-style accommodation. One of the biggest highlights of my stay was the toilet and bathroom area — exceptionally clean, modern, and cozy. Despite being a shared facility, everything was spotless and well-maintained at all times. The design was sleek, and the space felt more like a boutique hotel than a budget capsule. The toilets are equipped with Japan’s signature high-tech bidet functions, and the overall cleanliness really exceeded my expectations. Even the subtle lighting and warm wood tones added to the relaxing feel every time I used the bathroom. The rest of the hotel was equally impressive. The capsules were comfortable, quiet, and felt more private than I expected. The lounge area was a nice place to relax or do a bit of planning for the day. Plus, the location is perfect — just a short walk from Shinsaibashi shopping street and a quick train ride to most Osaka hotspots. If you’re looking for a well-designed, clean, and cozy place to stay in Osaka, I highly recommend Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi. Especially if you value hygiene and comfort in shared facilities, this hotel delivers above and beyond.

MM299418****I'm very satisfied with the hotel's location, hygiene, service and cost performance. As it's a capsule hotel, it would be best if disposable earplugs and slippers could be provided for free in limited quantities. Overall, it is a very excellent hotel

AAnonymous UserThe women's communal showers had a strong smell of urine, which felt very unhygienic. There were only two shower cubicles, so we often had to queue outside to use them. The room size was adequate, and there were lockable drawers under the bed. However, the room door itself could not be locked, which was a significant safety concern. I stayed in women's dorm room 422. Throughout the night and early morning, staff members were constantly entering and exiting, performing some unidentified tasks. They were slamming doors and rearranging items, creating a significant amount of noise. To my surprise, in the morning, a male staff member entered the women's dorm room to tidy it up, which made me feel very unsafe. Before check-in, explicit rules were stated prohibiting noise and eating in the rooms, even requiring headphones for watching TV. Despite these strict rules for guests, their own staff continuously made noise, leading to a very poor night's sleep. The location, however, was extremely convenient.

AAmanzhol YestekovLocals don’t usually come here to sleep — they come to wash, relax, and go through the full spa ritual. There are three types of steam rooms, a circular shower, and three baths: two hot ones at around 41°C, and one cold shock bath at around 11°C. You dip in and instantly feel alive. One unique feature — every hour they run a group steam ritual, like a collective massage & heat therapy session. Very Japanese, and surprisingly affordable. Definitely worth trying. There’s also an inexpensive breakfast option, plus vending machines with food and drinks right inside — very convenient. Overall, it’s a men-only vibe: arrive, clean up, relax, reset, and go about your day. The capsule is just a bonus on top of the sauna experience. They give you clothing — not a robe, but loose Japanese pants and an oversized T-shirt. You get your own locker, bedding and clothes are changed daily, and the bathrooms have literally everything: toothbrush, toothpaste, gels, shampoo… even nail clippers. You don’t need to bring anything. Location is fantastic — right next to Dotonbori. Step outside and you’re instantly in the heart of Osaka’s nightlife and energy. Downsides? A strict checkout — you must leave at 10:00 AM, and check-in starts only after 3:00 PM. If you want to stay during that gap, it’s around 300 yen per hour, or ~900 yen for the day. Still — great experience. I always wanted to try a real Japanese capsule stay. Inside the capsule there’s a TV, radio, adjustable lights, and AC — though it blasts pretty strongly, so I turned it off.

11358732****The lobby is absolutely gorgeous, with its floor-to-ceiling windows creating a beautiful and spacious atmosphere. It genuinely feels like a stylish coffee shop. I was thrilled to have the entire room to myself! The space is clean, comfortable, and offers a wonderful sense of freedom. An added bonus was meeting fellow travelers from various countries. Truly exceptional value for money! 👍

DDarinDarwishThis was not my first hostel experience, and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed. Let’s start with the positive aspects first: The location was absolutely perfect — I don’t think you could find a better place to stay in Namba. Everything was close by, and getting around was very easy. Also, the staff were extremely, extremely friendly, and we received fresh towels every day, which I really appreciated. Now, onto the things that bothered me: First, the cleanliness: It wasn’t really clean. In the showers, there was always a lot of hair and dirt in the gaps where you enter and exit, which was quite unpleasant. During my stay, someone vomited in the public sink area, and it was not cleaned up overnight — it was still there even at 10 a.m. the next morning. Because of that, the house smelled strongly of vomit for a while. That night, and in general, there was often an unpleasant smell in the kitchen area as well. Without wanting to discriminate, I noticed that many older people were staying at the hostel (since apparently there was no age restriction). Some of them would loudly clear their throats and spit phlegm into the sinks, even early in the morning, which was quite disturbing and unhygienic. Another issue was the temperature: The room was extremely hot at night, and since so many people were sleeping in one room, the air became very stuffy. Even inside your capsule, it was uncomfortably warm. One last point: On the day of arrival, the address on Trip.com was wrong, which made it very hard to find the hostel. It took me almost an hour and a half to find it, especially because it was very hidden with no clear signage outside. I really hope that in the future, there will also be an age limit for guests.

GGuest UserI had a really great time here at Casa G.S. Everything was way beyond my expectations. In terms of location, it took me only 5 mins on foot to reach Osakako train station, Chuo Line. With your luggage, you may chose to walk up stairs or take an elevator to and down the train station. You can also visit the nearby shopping mall (Tempozan Market Place) which is located near a beautiful bay, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyuka, and a big ferris wheel. A local bus stop is around 3 minutes away. Tax-free shops, Japanese restaurants, convenience stores (Lawson, 7-11, Family Mart) can easily be reached in the area. For room condition, fortunately I believe the place has been renovated for less than one year, so everything is very nice and clean. I stayed with my parents for 4 nights. The beds were hygienic and comfortable which was a plus to when you were exhausted after long walking days. It has all the necessities you can ever think of such as refrigerator, power socket, adapter, air-con, wet wipes and amenities. The check-in/out, door-lock, and entry systems require no staff or any unlocking devices/tools to pass which were very convenient and secure. An elevator is in place. This is crucial! The lobby has a luggage storage area (free of charge) and a pantry where you can borrow or use necessary kitchenware. Its bathroom may not be that spacious, but very clean and good enough for a short stay. For those considering this place and making decisions, I do highly recommend with this reasonable price offered. คนไทยที่กำลังตัดสินใจอยู่ บอกเลยที่นี่นอนสบายมากครับ เตียงนุ่ม สะดวกและคุ้มค่ามากครับ ประทับใจสุดๆ
