I arrived and was greeted promptly by a gentleman at the front desk. After taking care of the incidental hold, he handed me my key cards and directed me to the elevators. My room was large and very clean. It wouldve been helpful to have a guide of channels for the tv and washclothes in the room. The breakfast was ok with scrambled eggs, chicken patties, pastries, waffle makers, and 4 types of cereal. If I was more hungry than I had been, the selection could've been better. It is located near a ton of eateries and shopping.

Wanted a weekend staycation and it was perfect. Great Friendly staff, shower was one of my favorite things about it, it was in a prime location. The only thing that Dayton rate five stars was the breakfast, with the pandemic we understand the Buffay not being available, but the sack breakfast they provided was a banana and a banana muffin, no drinks, cereal, nothing else. Other than that we really enjoyed ourselves.

This hotel is centrally located in ”downtown” Clayton with easy access to highways and main roads throughout St. Louis. We got free parking for 2 of the 3 nights we were here and discounted parking on the third night. A substantial breakfast with an omelet and waffle bar is included. My only caveat is that there were special functions 2 of the 3 nights on the 7th Floor (ballroom) and we could hear/feel the thump of the bass on the 4th floor (it was louder in the bathroom, for some reason). Front desk staff acknowledged the ”noise” and noted that the event would end at 11 p.m. Not sure I'd stay here again, given the potential for that level of disturbance. Otherwise a clean hotel with attentive staff in a handy location.

I needed to stay near WashU and was without a car - without much research I found this hotel which appears to be the only one near the university and also near restaurants. (I may be wrong). I spent two nights. First, the hotel has a quirky moon theme. Fine. It mainly consists of a couple of glass display cases near the lobby with a moon related collection of tchatchkes. Beyond that there is a mild ”mid century” feel and a big moon on top of the hotel located at the rooftop bar. Pros: location at Delmar loop and near university Cons: This is an old hotel with very superficial ”improvements”. Feels like a 1980 hotel covered up. Lots of ”dings” around from being bumped and used. The chair and other furniture in the room had stains and were worn. The hallway smelled. The price was steep for the quality of the place Went to the rooftop bar and was met by surly bouncer. Weird. The front desk staff were okay but seemed unprofessional/too relaxed I had 3 suitcases and no one offered to help me to the elevator etc The BED was completely terrible. Had to be very old. Sunken in the middle, totally soft. had to be low quality such as few springs as the whole thing bounced all over when touched. I hardly slept for two nights. If not for this awful bed I likely would not have bothered writing a review as the rest was all forgettable. I'll be going back to St Louis and I'll figure out something else next time.

It rained on the day we went, the rain stopped and there was a rainbow near the arch. It can be seen in the hotel room. The accommodation is good and the service is also very good. There are restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies and side doors within 200 meters. Arches and the old court, you can take the subway in ten minutes, it is the subway, don't follow the Google map on the road lost ~ strongly recommend the sushi love on the main road, there is a 20-knife buffet, very good and delicious, right, Please bring your own slippers and toothbrush toothpaste. My wife and I traveled to St Louis for a weekend trip. The Rennaissance was one of the lower priced options, but the hotel was amazing. Just off the interstate, making it easy to get to anywhere that you want to go. The room was very nice, clean, and in great shape. The breakfast buffet was simple, but the food was great! All-in-all, we will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip!

RReedPAn absolutely great location that is right across the street from the new St. Louis city soccer stadium, it's two blocks walking distance from the city market Union station area. It's easily accessible just off of I64. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and fairly well stocked. And the one downside would be the in room refrigerator. It was very tiny and had no freezer section, which depending on the visitor they may or may not need. I am coming from far enough away and with children that I needed to refreeze freezer packs for snacks. The breakfast each morning was okay. It was scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs with cheese plus sausage. One morning it was a choice of turkey, sausage patties or pork sausage patties, while the next day was a choice of pork sausage links or chicken sausage links. Links. Plus they had the standard bread, English muffin, bagels, muffin, fruit. The downside would be the lack of waffle maker. I don't know why that makes a difference, because I don't really eat waffles. But my kid loves waffles and loves to make them. And instead of having a waffle maker, they had a hot plate filled with pre-made bagged frozen waffles that they had preheated for everybody. Oh yeah in my pics you'll see a pic of my kid's milk. IT wasn't expired, but the ad on it was and it gave me quite a scare when I saw it. And depending on plans, and what I need to be close to, if need be I will definitely stay here again with my family. The area was safe, clean, and I forgot the funniest part... Directly across the street from the FBI. LOL 😂🚓🚔

GGuest UserLocation in proximity to city attractions is amazing 5/5. Location in terms of safety is 2/5. There isn’t a covered secured lot for your car and I was approached by many people asking me for money while taking a walk around the building. Service is hit or miss. When I arrived, and attempted to open my car door, I was accosted by the valet who yelled at me and asked me what I was TRYING to do. I told him I was checking in to the hotel. And he was aggressively unpleasant, seemingly angry that I had arrived. Conversely, the valet attendant the next day was polite and wonderful. The front desk was nice but did not review any of the amenities nor offer any information about the hotel, which is a shame. Nice but inattentive and uninterested. The service at both Idol Wolf and Good Press were 5/5. The food at both were 5/5. The hotel itself is gorgeous. There’s art set in an old gym. The renovation is well done. Enjoyed it very much. The view from the room was also very nice. The room itself was standard with a few attention to detail things needing addressed. Such as broken handles and non working bathroom fixtures. Overall would recommend this hotel because it is unique. Big plus - they allow pets!!! Yes!

GGuest UserStayed here for one night recently while in town for a marching band competition. The location is very convenient for getting to The Dome at America's Center and very convenient to get back on the expressway to head back to Illinois so the location is a plus. There is nothing particularly ”bad” about the hotel but it just is in need of updating. The rooms are very dated from the carpet to the doors to the furniture. The popcorn ceilings are the biggest indicator that things have not been updated in a long time. Beds are old and noisy. Hilton would be wise to start doing a hard goods refurbishment in each room and bring in fresh carpet, paint, furniture, and countertops. Having said that, the on-site parking was inexpensive and convenient and the breakfast area in the lower level of the hotel was the largest seating area I've seen at a Hilton property so that was nice. Update the rooms and this Hampton could be quite a gem.

GGuest UserI will be brief. I thought I booked the other Courtyard in Downtown St. louis. I had never been to St Louis before. This hotel is in serious need of updating in the rooms- i don’t think they have been since the 80s. There is a sign on the front door indicating that no bathrooms are available. This was a signal to me about the location. I travel every week for work, and just didn’t feel safe and clean at this hotel- i checked out right after I went to my room and there was a washcloth hanging in the shower. The ladies who work at this hotel are topnotch; however!!

FFourie MiekeParking was a little confusing because there’s a large lot right behind the hotel but I had to move my car to a building to the side after check in and it was an unexpected expense, but the hotel, location, room and bar are all great. It was a bit disconcerting to realize everyone in the bar already knew each other because they’re actually club members rather than guests, but I guess the name of the place should have tipped me off to that.

GGuest UserMy boyfriend and I had the opportunity to stay at The Last Hotel at the last minute for a concert in town this weekend. From the check-in to the valet parking option to our deluxe king room on the 9th floor, our overall experience at this hotel has been truly above and beyond. Our room was immaculate, spacious, beautifully designed and very clean. The beds and linens are of top notch quality and no expense has been spared in ensuring the comfort of the guest. Furthermore the hotel staff were all very friendly, professional, and accommodating if we had any questions or needed help with anything. They made us feel welcome and cared for. The final selling point of this hotel is that there is a gorgeous rooftop pool and bar. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a lovely sunny 71° afternoon up on this private rooftop area that is only open to hotel guests. If you are truly on the fence about staying here or the splurge, I cannot recommend this place enough. It will not disappoint! We plan to make this our designated hotel for all future stays. Thank you at The Last Hotel!

GGuest UserTwo of the main things I looked for when booking was a pool and free parking. The pool was indoors which was fine. Was surprised to see how small it was and was a big let down that it was so freezing we couldn’t enjoy it at all. So it was a let down that one of the main reasons I booked here we didn’t get to use the pool. This place does have newer furniture in its rooms but the floor throughout and the furniture it the lobby is just stained up and dingy. The signs on 1st floor for ice machine/vending are wrong. Asked a rude house keeper that was upset bc I guess I interrupted her cleaning. She had told me it was around the corner…. The out of order machine was on the other side of the building. I finally found me an ice machine on next floor. The people at the front desk are very nice and courteous. Really nice. But wish they had explained more on their parking so that I didn’t end up with a ticket each day I was there. So they have no free parking lots at the moment. You either have to park in their drop off zone are a section of street parking on the side. The other lots available you have to pay per day. Due to this I found a spot on the side (side street parking as they suggested) and I didn’t move my car. I kept it there the entire time and walked everywhere I needed to go. Well when I went to leave I had parking tickets racked up for several days. I went in and asked them if that was there parking as told previously and they said yes. I told them about the tickets and they said it was managed by the city and u have to back in or get a ticket. That would be nice to know when you offer that as a parking suggestion. I go out to lot to see if there was a sign. There was a sign many spots down that in the direction I was coming from wouldn’t have seen. I also looked all almost every vehicle was parked wrong way so obviously they weren’t told or didn’t see sign either. I started warning those I could. $30 a day ticket city it making a lot of money of that small parking section from out of towners etc that don’t know ST Louis parking laws …. The hotel won’t warn u of this and they know. Besides these couple things everything else was good.
