We booked a family room and it is a great pleasure to stay here;Large, clean, and complete facilities. We really love to have a washing machine and drying machine in our room. It 's very comfortable. Pros: Absolutely beautiful hotel. Very elegant and stylish. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Some staff members can speak English. Near Subway Line 2 (Exit 14). Excellent breakfast. Cons: Hotel refused to return our deposit (paid via Alipay) when we left, citing a ”problem with their bank” (no fault of ours), saying they need 24 hours to return the deposit. This seems to be their default policy. After we insisted it was returned the same day, although a few hours after we have already left Shanghai. This experience left a rather bad impression, and I would not return to stay at this hotel. I would suggest that guests check the hotel's current policy regarding the return of deposits, before they make a reservation.

When I checked in, Starry was very kind. I asked for a late checkout and she gave it to me free of charge. I was also upgraded room free of charge which was very nice. I wasn’t overly sure on the amenities the hotel had (pool etc). The room was very clean with a lovely large bed. Good wifi, big TV, water in room, optional mini bar. I ordered some room service for lunch and it was very nice and came within a good time. All staff were very kind. I had a takeout delivered to the hotel and someone (I didn’t get her name) was very kind and helped me on her own phone to lick it up as I didn’t know how to do it. Would definitely stay again!

Great location, close to Nanjing Lu of course for all the touristy, but also behind the hotel you can get a slice of more local life in Shanghai too. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were beautiful too. It's an older hotel, so the decor is more traditional and is showing some very minor signs of age. We were very comfortable throughout and made use of the lovely indoor swimming pool too.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms were modern and clean, and the breakfast was fresh with a good variety to choose from. Regarding breakfast, more western options would be great. The hotel was walking distance from Nanjing Road shopping street, about two blocks away, entering near the Zara store. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and one could communicate in English.

The hotel is very close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Opposite is Lao Zhengxing, a famous local restaurant. Next door is Xiaoyang Shengjian and Dahuchun. There are so many delicious food nearby that you don’t have to worry about running out of food. It is 5 minutes’ walk from People’s Square Station of Line 2. It's only minutes away and the transportation is very convenient. Hotel service staff are friendly and solve problems quickly It’s just that the facade is relatively small, so you might go too far if you’re not careful!

The hotel is under the viaduct, and the Great World Metro Exit 1 is five or six hundred meters away. The location is average, but fortunately it is not noisy to sleep. Hotel is very close to subway station (80m) from gate 1 or 3, walking distance or 1 subway station away from many iconic tourist attractions and eateries. Staffs were very friendly and attentive, we were only staying for 1 nights, but requested hotel reception to take our parcels a few days before our arrival, so we can pick up our stuffs at our last stop and they were happy to help, thank you. Hotel also provided kid slipper and toothbrush upon request, gave our girl favourite pinky colour pack. Hotel itself were transformed from old building, but noted it was newly renovated and vintage looking from outside, but modern amenities inside, also have modern automated toilets (like Japanese hotels). Will definitely recommend family or other visitors to stay here. The only minor downside is too few seats for buffet breakfast, we were asked to squeezed in with a few other people, but still acceptable, staffs cleaned the table very quickly and find the seats for us within 5 minutes.

The hotel is conveniently located and there are many restaurants nearby. The hotel staff are friendly, nice and helpful. Just 2 things that caused certain inconveniences. 1. The staff took away the bath mat and forgot to replace a new one. 2. The door could not be closed tightly in the shower room and water did leak out of the door. Overall stay is satisfactory and I will stay again.

The location is perfect. Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is just downstairs. You can see two pieces of the three-piece set while sitting by the window. It only takes about twenty minutes to walk to the Bund with the kids. The breakfast buffet is very rich, the staff are very enthusiastic and have a good attitude. The room was very spacious and I didn't hear any noise after staying there for three days.

✨ [First glance into the room] The location of the room is very good, parking and taxi! Going downstairs in a straight line of about 200 meters, you will arrive at Nanjing Road… it is also very close to the Chenghuang Temple! Located strategically at the heart of shopping district. Accessible, 10 mins walk to the bund, 5 mins walk to metro stations, 20mins walk to most tourist spots, 40mins from airport. Plenty of good food around to try out. Simple room, sufficiently furnished for a short stay. My room is slightly noisy from massive tourist crowd/ downstairs, however expected for its location. Price is attractive and affordable.
