"This was my first time transiting through Fuzhou Changle Airport, and after comparing several hotels nearby, I decided on this Super 8 Select. After my stay, I can confidently say I made the right choice! The room's cleanliness was impeccable. There was no musty smell upon entering, and the floors, TV cabinet, and mirror were all sparkling clean. The bedding was clearly changed promptly and felt fresh and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, with no odors from the drain, and the disposable toiletries were fully stocked. You can tell from these small details that the hotel has high standards for cleanliness, even for germaphobes like me. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy, and any questions I had for the front desk were answered patiently and kindly. The most practical feature was the complimentary airport shuttle service – this genuinely boosted my travel experience. No need to book a car in advance or worry about finding a taxi late at night. The driver was waiting for me, drove smoothly, and the short journey to and from the airport made it incredibly convenient for early morning flights or late-night arrivals, saving a significant amount on taxi fares. The hotel itself was quiet and peaceful, allowing me to get good rest after a long journey. The air conditioning, hot water, and Wi-Fi all worked perfectly; all the basic amenities were well-provided. Its location is very close to the airport, making travel easy, and the price was very reasonable. The overall value for money far surpasses other hotels in the same price range. Perfect
DDaniel RodThe hotel is located fairly centrally in the island of Pingtan in a small village. Its exterior is nicely decorated with lights, and if you arrive late at night like we did, you’ll thank for that, as it shines like a beacon in a otherwise not very well lit street.
The service shone from the beginning. One of the staff was ready to help us with our luggage and show us in, and there was no delay with the registration of my passport (something that as any foreigner that has travelled in the Chinese Mainland will be able to tell, is not something to take for granted), and was immediately added to WeChat, where through the entire trip I was kept updated on everything relevant to us as guests, from the time breakfast was ready, to the fact that a guest with a dog was going to stay in a room next to ours (to which they offered to change if we needed in case any of us was scared or allergic to dogs). Breakfast was always kept warm for us, even when we were coming down late and were not expecting it to be there, and in general the staff’s attitude was always what you would expect in a bigger, more established (and more expensive) hotel, but with a home-stay twist.
The hotel is not very close to any scenic spot or touristic destination, but they offer a service of e-bike rental that we used through the trip, and that we’d recommend to anybody is staying here as it took transportation off the list of things we had to think about, and allowed us to fully take advantage of the central location of the inn. With 2 people per bike, going very far North, or South to the city (sometimes both in one trip), we never ran too close to empty our batteries.
The room was clean, big enough, and as we were staying on the last floor and our door opened to a patio, very well ventilated. The patio also proved to be a nice place to sit and chill or eat, and I was able to make work I had to finish feel less of a sore in the middle of my holidays. The only things I’d add or change to the room experience are a place to hang clothes (there wasn’t any closet or the sort), the toilet paper (they offered tissues but they don’t feel the same when you want to, you know, keep your hands clean), and real towels (they offer disposable towels, but they’re just not the same).
In conclusion, not only I would come back but I most certainly will, as I had an amazing trip and this inn played no small part in it. Would 100% recommend if you like less noisy, more home stay-ey atmosphere, and don’t mind to be a few minutes drive from the city.

The room was very spacious and offered great value for money.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The hotel’s location is a dream—offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The facilities are top-notch, with well-maintained, modern rooms that strike a perfect balance between comfort and luxury. The amenities are pristine and thoughtfully designed to cater to every guest’s needs. What truly stood out to me, however, was the staff’s attentiveness. I’d like to extend a special shout-out to Miumiu, who went above and beyond to make my stay remarkable. She was incredibly helpful, addressing all my questions with patience and ensuring every detail was just right. Her dedication to guest satisfaction truly sets this hotel apart. If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat or a convenient base for exploring the area, the Bandao Resort Hotel is an excellent choice. I can’t wait to return and experience this slice of paradise again!

MM39640****Our flight was originally scheduled to arrive at 1 AM, and I had arranged an airport pickup with the guesthouse owner. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we didn't land until past 5 AM. I woke the owner up, and he graciously drove to the airport to pick us up without any complaints. He even took us for breakfast and later dropped us off at the airport around noon. Running a business truly isn't easy!
The guesthouse room was clean, tidy, and very quiet, with a comfortable bed. We fell asleep instantly and had a great rest. One of the rooms offered a lovely sea view, and we even caught the sunrise. The guesthouse looks exactly like the pictures on the platform. I travel frequently but rarely write reviews, especially one this long. Wishing the owner prosperous business and continued success!

Rooms were clean with modern amenities. Bedsheets used were white in colour like normal hotels. Towels were disposable type.
Overseas guests be warned that you need to get in touch with the rooms owner. Luckily for us we had Wechat. Our air transfer driver did assisted us by calling the owner on his phone.
That was because your room number and at which floor with the door security key numbers as well as the room door code would be send to you.
Secondly, once you gained entrance to your apartment unit, you needed to go up a flight of stairs (troublesome with luggage). Each apartment unit, the owner had converted to either 2 or 3 individual rooms.
Location was near a lot of eateries and we even managed to have supper around midnight at one of the eateries inside the apartment complex.
Also there were a number of convenience stores that opened till late or even 24 hours.
There was a metro station within 15 minutes walk.
One added bonus was that there was a washing machine inside the room
Concluding, the owner should have sent the doors security codes to us via Trip.com to avoid the hustle in checking in

EE&ZThe location is super convenient, right inside the airport, accessible straight from the arrival exit. It seems quite popular, especially for those on red-eye flights. This was my first time experiencing it, and you need to change into slippers. The individual pods are clean, but the air freshener scent was a bit much for someone with allergies. The common areas are mixed-gender, relying on everyone's discretion, so in the morning, you just have to power through your washing up. They provide simple dry meals. Overall, it's pretty good value for money.

AAnh-BaoThe apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood.
The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for.
Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak.
Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help.
The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing.
Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.
