Every day, when you open the curtains, you're greeted by the clear blue sea, which is incredibly satisfying. **Facilities**: Very complete. There's even a charging point for the electric scooter we rented. **Cleanliness**: Clean and tidy. They even provide face towels, and the toilet is sterilized. **Environment**: Facing the sea, with a warm and vibrant floral view. **Service**: Everyone is enthusiastic, and shuttle service is available.

Pingtan had always been on my travel list, and I finally decided to visit last minute. I spent a long time choosing a hotel. Actually, for a summer trip to Pingtan, I'd highly recommend picking a hotel or guesthouse and staying put for a few days, only venturing out to see the sea and take photos in the evening, because it's simply too hot and sunny! We rented a car at 12:30 PM, drove around for half a day, and arrived at the guesthouse at 8 PM. As soon as we got out of the car, a butler was there to help with our luggage! The pure white building looked beautiful even at night. Next to it was the Windmill Sea restaurant, where you could hear live singers and enjoy the breeze – it was so comfortable! After checking in, my child immediately changed into a swimsuit and headed to the pool; they were absolutely thrilled! The hotel also provided swim rings, which was very convenient. There was also a water park, which unfortunately we didn't get to experience. For breakfast, you could choose between beef noodles (which were actually rice vermicelli), beef ramen, or congee. I'd recommend the beef ramen. Besides the set meal, you could also pick fruits, juices, salads, etc. The beef in the ramen tasted very fresh! If you could get a window seat, eating while overlooking the Windmill Sea was an even better experience! After breakfast, we booked a travel photoshoot. The photographer delivered the photos incredibly fast, surprisingly so! The kids then played in the soft play area for a long time. The hotel also has a gym and a craft room, and you can participate in hotel activities, especially for kids – they can easily spend an entire day there during the summer without even leaving the hotel. It's a shame we didn't try the afternoon tea. The hotel also creates a 'island friends' WeChat group, offering services like ordering barbecue at night, which can even be delivered directly to your room – perfect for those who just want to chill out! The only downside of the hotel is the soundproofing. Fortunately, the hotel prohibits children from playing in the water after 10 PM and even provides earplugs and eye masks, so it's not a huge concern. The bed was very comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep! We had to leave early due to an approaching typhoon, which was sad. My child said she wants to come back again; she absolutely loved it!

A truly comfortable stay! It was so peaceful and undisturbed, with beautiful ocean views – perfect for anyone looking for some quiet introspection, reading by the sea, or simply enjoying the scenery. It's about 3km from the city, which is a good distance, making it convenient to go out for meals or visit other attractions. I'm already planning to come back for a longer stay in the summer when the weather's brighter! Facilities: Excellent, especially appreciated the dehumidifier, which was a nice touch. Hygiene: The cleaning was meticulous and very thorough, especially impressive for a guesthouse by the sea. Environment: The decor is lovely, and the rooms are uniquely nestled among natural rocks, offering unparalleled views. Service: Extremely thoughtful and enthusiastic. Any issues were resolved very quickly and appropriately.

My two friends and I stayed here for a few nights. The beds were comfy and the room was exactly as advertised, equipped with a fridge and a washing machine! The shower pressure was great, and the bathroom ticked all the boxes for us. It was lovely to wake up in the morning and open the curtains to a nice big window to let the light in! (Pictures are all at night) There’s plenty of parking nearby but the closest metro is a 25 minute walk away so be prepared to hop on a share scooter or hail a cab! There are no towels, only thin disposable ones, so bring your own or pop to the supermarket in the basement to buy one.

It is a very warm homestay! From the boss to the staff, they are all very enthusiastic! The weather suddenly turned sunny the next day and it was very beautiful! It is really a great place to watch the sunset! The room is clean and hygienic, just next to Changjiangao Beach, very close to the beach, and there are many food nearby! The recommended restaurant is also good, the taste is suitable, the breakfast is delicious, the porridge is well cooked, and it is worth coming again on a sunny day in summer! This is one of my best experience with hotels/accommodation. The location is in the city center and is accessible by subway which less than 5 mins from the apartment. The room is clean, spacious living room and big bathroom. The smart lock (pin) and the entire smart system in the room makes the stay even more comfortable. The service staff are very help and friendly. There is also a huge smart projector for movies installed in the rooms. Recommended for travelers to Fuzhou. 1. There are many room types. If you book early, you will have more choices. I made a late reservation and only booked the large room for 3 nights. It was very comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows, a wide view, and a very large space. In the next few days, we can only book a small room. Although it is small, the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows is also very good. What we can see is the trees in the garden, which is particularly artistic. If you book in advance, you can contact the store owner to ask about a larger room or a room with a better view. The one I know of that has the best view in a large room is the Black Swan 305. I wish everyone good luck in booking a satisfactory room. 2. Their B&B has several buildings. I stayed in Building 3 of Black Swan, which is a villa. It is really good. The lobby is spacious and has a table tennis table, a pool table, and a mahjong table. There is also an oversized dining table in the lobby on the first floor, which can be used for family gatherings with many people. 3. Hygiene: clean. The cleaning lady was very nice. We lost the original charger for our mobile phone and she was busy helping us find it. Thanks auntie. 4. Service: Very good. The store owner and a handsome young man are very nice and enthusiastic, and helped us coordinate the room. 5. The geographical location is not directly on the sea, so you need to drive to the seaside. The B&B is located in the county town, which is very convenient. It's very convenient to order takeout and take a taxi. It's also close to Pingtan Station. The B&B is located in the middle of the attraction line, so it is very convenient to travel on the northern or southern route.

It was a very satisfying experience. Although there was nothing to do as a result of Typhoon Shantol, the only activity was to climb to the top of the mountain observation deck with my parents, but we were almost blown away by the typhoon. But the B&B is really impeccable, the food is delicious, the rooms are great, and the service is beyond praise. If I have the chance to come to Pingtan again, I will undoubtedly choose his place first.

Fantasy Hotel is near South Fuzhou Railway Station, which is a bit away from the town centre but handy to catch the high speed train from Fuzhou south. The check in was poor. The address does not say which floor the hotel is and you are expected to phone the hotel even though they do not speak English. I had to get a passer by to help me. They did not send a check in code either. Apart from that the room was fine though there was no window and this did not match the photo. I also had to pay a New Year’s Eve tax. But that is expected. You can easily catch the subway into town but beware it closes early and then you will have to get a taxi. Happy New Year everyone !
