The room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, and the room smelled delicious. All toiletries, including the bath towels, were disposable, so they were safe to use. Any needs were met, including a pick-up and drop-off service, and you could rent an electric scooter. When the owner picked us up at the station, he offered us milk tea after we'd missed our meals. During the May Day holiday, he gathered everyone for a barbecue and chat, and his hands were practically spitting out sparks from the skewers he was skewering. The only downside was being woken one morning by the sound of firecrackers outside. 😂

This was my first time staying at a hotel in Fuzhou with my two kids. After much comparison, I chose the Xihu Park branch of the Yuehua Hotel. Even during the May Day holiday, the price was still quite reasonable.
The room was larger than I expected and had a small balcony. On the day we checked in, we received complimentary fruit (2 apples and 1 pear, haha!), drinks, and starting at 9 PM, there was congee and small side dishes available.
Overall, the service and breakfast were the highlights. The staff at the lobby, in the rooms, and at the fitness center were all fantastic. When I checked in, I asked the front desk for a bed rail, and it was delivered and installed within 10 minutes. The staff operating the electric shuttle carts were always very nice; one even got out of the cart after parking to show us the way to Xihu Park from the hotel's side entrance, concerned we wouldn't know how to get there. When my child was swimming alone in the pool, the staff there even helped look after them. The restaurant's breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. Not only did they have all the authentic Fuzhou snacks, but also a full selection of Chinese, Western, hot, and cold dishes. This was much better than other hotels I've stayed at before. The dining staff were also excellent, proactively introducing Fuzhou snacks and reminding the children to be careful. Special shoutout to Xiao Wang, who was beautiful, kind, and very enthusiastic. My elder daughter said she wants to stay here again next time we come to Fuzhou (though it would be even better if the kids' play area was a bit bigger, haha!).

To be honest, I've always had some preconceived notions about homestays, but this one genuinely changed my mind. The overall environment is really good, and the service is absolutely fantastic. They lend out sand-digging tools, can tell you where to find 'blue tears' (bioluminescent plankton), and even notify you about daily tide times. The best part is, they offer a free photo shoot and give you three photos, and they're genuinely beautiful (much better than what you'd get from a random street photographer). There's also a pool, but it was too cold to go in that day. They have plenty of parent-child activities too; my child made fridge magnets and painted pictures to take home. It was a very enjoyable experience!

Piaoyi-888The room was small but exquisitely designed. The outdoor hot spring area and pools were incredibly photogenic! The water jets also created a fantastic 'wave' effect. My only suggestion is that the outdoor lights at night need to stay on for several times longer than they currently do; that definitely needs adjusting! The hotel restaurant's food was also excellent. I hope they continue to maintain their high standards. It's a hot spring hotel worth recommending!

Guest UserI highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel! First off, the location is incredibly convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, which makes getting to tourist attractions or shopping districts super easy. There are also plenty of unique local eateries nearby, perfect for a pleasant stroll and late-night snack hunting.
Next, let's talk about the cleanliness – absolutely spotless, I couldn't find a single fault. The bed linens and duvet covers in the room were fresh and odorless, the floors and tabletops were dust-free, and the bathroom sink and toilet gleamed, with not even a speck of dust in the corners. You can really tell the housekeeping staff put a lot of effort into their work.
But the most delightful surprise was the service; it was warm and attentive from check-in to check-out. The front desk lady processed everything efficiently and even thoughtfully recommended some nearby sightseeing routes. When I called for a hairdryer in the evening, the staff delivered it very quickly and were incredibly friendly.
The value for money is absolutely amazing. The next time I visit this city, I'll definitely choose this hotel again!

Our vacation ended, but we managed to travel during the off-peak season with our child. My little one absolutely loved it! The hotel is very kid-friendly. There's a dedicated children's heated splash pool that's shallow and even has a small slide. Right next to it, there's a jungle play net, and my child had so much fun they didn't want to leave. Our room was spacious and clean, and the balcony even had a large soaking tub. We'll definitely be back if we have the chance!
