Outstanding
MMchia YIt’s a landed property with 3 floors. No lift, so either leave your heavy luggage downstairs or carry up on your own.
Smaller public space and kitchen but good enough to stay around.
The hostel is well managed with fans to air and dry out the space. 4 toilets and 3 showers for 4 bedrooms (around 28 beds I think). But if not all using the shower room or toilet at the same time. It’s just nice. Would be good if there’s 1 or 2 more hangers in the shower and toilet.
The room is clean and bed is comfortable.
Breakfast is included with simple white toast, one egg each and jam.
Although location is 20 mins bus to downtown, it’s close to train station to travel to other small town and convenient stop for 台湾好行. I had no issue as vegetarian as there are eateries around within 5-30 mins walking distance and convenient stores at station.
Receptionists are friendly and helpful. There are travel information available for last minute planning.
Free bike renting starts from 10am. There’s postal service too.

The most appreciated is the shower water pressure 👍 hot water 👍
It is recommended to set more hooks in the bathroom, which is convenient for the home to shower and change the shirt in a suitable location!
The clean shirt can only be hung on the towel. The problem is that the towel must be emptied before it can be put on it, and the dirty shirt can only be on the toilet board.😌
Feelings about the housekeeper 🤔 for the first time 👎
Understand that she needs to hand over the situation order work, explain what the guests must do ⋯, etc.
But the tone feels like she is order me, and I have to obey 🥺
When I left, I was afraid to disturb the guests in the hall. I put my hand lightly and put the key in this letter. I wanted to inform the room manager through WhatsApp. The key has been placed in the mailbox. Suddenly she asked if she wanted to store her luggage? I said no! Who doesn't know that she said that I am the housekeeper 😅 We left 🤣 embarrassedly + leave for 2 minutes 🤔 Who will remember her face 🤣

The service staff is very good,
There's also its own parking lot,
And a delicious breakfast attached.
However, the order did not coincide with the actual room when checking in.
After confirmation, it was found that the room order issued by Trip.com to the store was wrong.
So after a little bit of time to make a confirmation,
The store only arrived at the original order room.
(Fortunately, the room was empty that night!)
It is recommended to book from other platforms later,
Don't take the city from Trip.com.

CCAROLINEMoon villa is a good place to stay if you need to be near the train station. The rooms are clean and simple. The host was friendly and did her best to communicate with me in English. I did stand outside for 30 min waiting for someone to let me in, and had to get my Taiwanese friend to call to tell them I was there. The breakfast was good, if you are vegan there are less options available. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

HHelena_travelThis is my second time staying at Chai Kou An, and the location is super convenient! The guesthouse also helps arrange electric bike rentals, round-trip ferry tickets, and various water activities. The room has a dehumidifier, which keeps it nice and dry. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm back.

FFerfer8Note that there’s NO LIFT in this inn so if you have heavy luggages or bags, do consider again. Booked room with 3 Futon beds for family of 5 but no space to open up luggages to pack actually. With 1 luggage open, not much space to walk anymore. The kids did enjoy the futon bed concept and aircon was working well.
Clean beds, clean sheets nonetheless. There’s a small kitchen with microwave that is common space for all rooms, and some space to eat if you need to eat in.
Some parking space along the roadside, or garden area nearby. 24hr laundromat is 5 mins walk to the main road. It’s an inn so have to manage expectations of space.

GGlenn ScarffeI highly recommend this hotel for all travellers, especially foreigners - note I was a self-drive so the location wasn't an issue. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by a lovely young lady who came outside to show me my car space. Her equally-lovely colleague then assisted in checking me in and making me feel very welcome. I was given a map of the local area and some suggested eating spots. They also helped in charging my phone. The girls' spoke enough English to help me, and the breakfast at a nearby cafe was great. The room was exactly what I needed - a very clean room, comfortable bed, and nice warm shower. I am going to stay again next time I visit beautiful Taiwan.

GGuest UserThis place is located minutes from the beach and minutes for the city so it’s a great location. The rooms are very clean and the access is safe and secure. There is free coffee and a microwave on the ground floor.
The only drawback (and it’s huge to a solo traveler booking forward legs of a journey) is that the WiFi is awful ! The connection is good on the ground floor but I was on the third floor and this proved very frustrating.
I was informed that the reception was “poor by the window of the room”. It was poor in every part of the room !
If they get this sorted it would be a full 5 star accommodation ….. it’s really a nice place (Room 301) …

GGuest UserThis is a really cosy place. I really love my room. Clean and modern interior. The only downside might be the location. It's close to the train station. But there isn't much nearby for food. Probably best to rent a scooter to explore Taitung anyway to make your stay more convenient. They are plenty of scooter shops near the train station too.
