Mountain View Hotels in Taitung

Dream Tribe feels like home. The spacious space has a small kitchen for simple cooking, because there is no place to find food nearby at night. The bed has a small compartment, making the space independent and feeling like returning home. There is a large balcony outside the room with a comfortable view of the entire lawn. The breakfast is a personal brunch set that can be eaten very full. I will choose it again next time if I have the chance.

Due to some traffic reasons, we reached there pretty late around 930pm. The owner called us to check if we need any help, and patiently waited until we reach there, explain the house and rules. Really cozy and quiet environments, the facilities are absurd! 1000% worth the price. My floor is the lowest one, and it’s super clean. Highly recommended. Only cons is that you’d have to walk a little bit from the train station here (or you can just grab a cab for just little bit money though).

I stayed at a hotel close to Taitung Station because I was taking the Taiwan Railway the next day. There are many facilities near the old Taitung Station, and I don't think anyone expected the current situation after more than 20 years. The son of the young guesthouse owner? Good luck.

Teruma House is a very new, 6 months' old property. Clean, tastefully done in terms of design and comfort. Owner Max is very friendly, hospitable and helpful to share useful info such as suggestions on bicycle rental, places to eat, to visit. There are free coffee and snacks provided in the lobby area for guests. The only downside is the location of property is a bit of a walk from train station. Despite that, I absolutely love my stay there.

If you like quietness, this place is recommended, Far from crowded and car noise pass over in the road. Surrounded by village atmosphere, the building surrounded by green grass field, good for kids activity. Host is nice and friendly and warm welcome too.

Very close to the train station, the homestay can be seen, and even faintly hear the broadcast in the station. The room was clean, with a large balcony, a wide view and a mountain. The environment is quiet.

You can pick up and drop off according to the time of the ship. It was very clean. I'm grateful that water is free.

The location is very good, a little further into the provincial road, so you won't be woken up by gravel trucks and you can just watch the sunrise. It's not far from Taimali Station, so it's very convenient to take the train. Although the breakfast cannot compare with that of a five-star hotel, it is quite complete. The room was spacious and generally clean, but apart from the lack of disposable items as required by regulations, there was no mineral water or snacks, which made it seem a bit shabby. Parking is in the outdoor space opposite, which is not small.

I live in a sea view room, the sea is outside the window, the building is quite beautiful and new, far from the crowd, close to the hot spring! The only unhappy thing is that the room booked by me in the photo is a floor-to-ceiling window, but the room I got is a general window. After asking, I know that there are many double sea view rooms. I hope to be clearly marked, otherwise it will cause an expectation gap.

For the price I think it is a decent option. Air conditioning works and bed is fairly comfortable. No staff but check in process is fairly smooth, just FYI they will probably text you the password for the door so need to provide a phone number or contact them ahead of time. Location is about 20 minutes from the station and about 30-40 minutes walk from the famous ”brown road.” You can also borrow their bikes though I decided not to. The ”Tofu sheet' place is close by.
